Wonderful hosts and amazing homemade breakfast. Beautiful scenery with a relaxing pool. Very easy to get to Matera City.

I'll start by thanking the owners for their availability, courtesy and affability in welcoming us and advising us on things to visit, as well as sharing interesting anecdotes and information.

We can only hope to return soon, very beautiful and welcoming rooms, the shuttle service is excellent as is the cleanliness and the location in the center is logistically favourable.

It was quite an experience staying in a cave hotel! It's not easy to retrofit facilities in a cave so don't expect luxurious bathrooms or decor.

Really easy to arrive by car, and if you're VERY LUCKY, You'll be able to park at the very same street without any cost.

This was the highlight of our trip as far as accommodation goes. Fairly plain from the outside but once inside it is beautifully decorated and very elegant.

Beautiful apartment, in the heart of the Sassi, with a splendid view of the ancient city. You can breathe an ancient air but with all the comforts.

Strategic location, easily reachable by leaving your car in the car park, within the stones but not too much walking. The cave is completely modernized and well furnished.

We had a wonderful stay at Lamia Room Rentals. The location is situated just a short walk from the historic center, making it the perfect base for exploring Matera on foot.

This was absolutely perfect for us overnight. The interior is so cleverly designed and it’s only a short walk to the amazing centre.

Fantastic location. Host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was great and with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was something incredible with local baked goods.

Warm welcome, perfect apartment, shaded garden area with table, hammock and deck chairs excellent for moments of relaxation and for eating outdoors. It is possible to purchase the farm's products.

The apartment is located in a family-run farm that produces peaches, oranges, oil, various vegetables, wine, jams and pickles using organic methods.

Sleeping in one of their rooms is truly an amazing experience. Their interior garden is intimate and offers some shade, they offer fluffy towels & slippers + anything you could need for the bathroom.

This was my second visit to Le Dodici Luna and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the lovely, spacious room. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Matera.

Chiara runs a fantastic operation. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated (with A/C) right in the Sasso Caveoso district of Matera.

Chiara's B&B is truly as special as the amazing town of Matera. We felt her caring and welcoming reception as soon as we arrived from a long stressful drive from Salerno.

Convenient location close to the old town, spacious and clean apartment. Very friendly and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with a cake made by the hostess.

This place is outstanding. The apartment is spacious, furnished in top quality and the breakfast is amazing. Also the fridge was filled with beverages and fresh fruits.

Excellent place to sleep near the historic center of Matera and not in the restricted traffic area.

Great location with great hosts. Very cool room carved into the rock that gives you the Matera experience. The breakfast was amazing and both the husband and wife were very nice.

Excellent long weekend in Matera. Location in the Sassi district is perfect and we stayed in La Roccia suite which has a private balcony and stunning view. Very kind and helpful staff.

Our stay at La Gemma Dei Sassi was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the Sassi, making it very convenient for our visit.

The apartments are very clean and comfortable. Upon entering you really have a feeling of freshness and hygiene.

I don't have much to say: I can only give five stars to the apartment, hospitality, availability and cleanliness. Also noteworthy is the breakfast, which was more abundant than it should have been.

We were there for 2 nights with a group touring Matera. It is a newish, modern hotel in an industrial park outside Matera. There was a nice touch of the mosaic art.

This hotel is new with amazing mosaics decorations like painting, etc. I love the room and the bathroom's is refreshing with unique mosaics design.
