Michele nailed it with help getting our car parked in a convenient space right outside, gave us a brief and to the point intro to the town of Matera and then showed us to our newly renovated and atmospheric room. His place is situated right beside the historic part of the town, which honestly exceeded all expectations in terms of how picturesque it is, and how interesting its history is.
