A lovely hotel in a pleasant location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff; efficient front desk. Cool bedroom with a high ceiling. Hotel has its own car park.

🇸🇬Highly recommend this B&B if you're looking for an authentic living-in-a cave experience. The B&B is easily reachable from the train/bus station.

We stayed at B&B Fiorentini during our trip to Matera and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our visit. The place felt more like staying in someone’s warm and welcoming home than a typical B&B.

Staying in this B&B was like being at home, the kindness and politeness distinguishes Mr. Antonio and his family.

Very good for visiting Matera, very friendly welcome, good breakfast. Very clean and private parking. 10 minutes from the heart of the city.

We stayed 5 nights and can’t say enough good things about h-sa Guest House.
The room is thoughtfully furnished and spotless.
Antonella and Mario are born hosts and made us instantly feel like family.

Rooms are gorgeous, very big, and beautifully decorated! They are fully equipped with a desk, AC, and a modern bathroom with hair dryer.

Hotel is well located a short walking distance from the sassi as well as downtown. Rooms are comfortable although the bathroom is small and tightly packed.

Had to leave Scilla at 2am and drove to Matera arriving around 7:15am.

On a recent holiday to Matera, we stayed here, and we were so lucky we did, from the moment we arrived until we left a week later, the owner could not have done more for us, from giving us a briefing

Nice welcome in a comfortable and clean apartment.
Convenient to the center, we left the car in front of the house and moved around on foot.

Really nice and well-kept apartment, helpfulness of the owner, breakfast needs to be improved which in our opinion is a bit poor (packaged snacks and some biscuits with various jams).

We stayed at this property in July… what can I say, fantastic! Courtesy, kindness, cleanliness! we had a great time. Very close to the center (5 minutes by car) excellent breakfast!

We had a fantastic 4 nights here. The place is spotless, light and airy with a scrummy breakfast delivered daily and the best coffee machine.

We stayed here June 2025. Giacomo is a wonderful host. The rooms are great. The location is right in the middle of the Sassi. So amazing! He also has an agreement for parking in the new area of town.

Giacomo immediately made us feel welcome and was available and willing to help with anything we needed.

Very nice apartments in Sassi with a breathtaking view from the terrace! The owner is very nice, it’s very easy to get in touch with her. The rooms are clean and have everything which might be needed.

I don’t feel like the host (Irene I think) was very helpful. It felt like we annoyed her. They didn’t want to help me order a taxi when I asked for help.

Great location and view from the balcony. The room itself is a bit dated but it's ok.

Fabulous suites, each very individual with unusual bathrooms. Beautifully restored building that still retains the arched stone ceilings and original stone walls.

Had a great 2night stay at Endea suites. The room was great, spacious and clean. Andrea and team were very super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much.

Wow spectaculars, view is amazing as we sat on our balcony. Highly recommend the Earth (Terra) room. Nice continental breakfast on the patio. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful cave like atmosphere with all modern comforts Spacious room and bathroom. Both were absolutely spotless.

Wonderful hotel in a slightly difficult place to access, having said that most hotels in the old town are tricky to access.

Absolutely loved this part of Italy! Stayed in a cute little cave next to the cliff! View was amazing! Staff was so kind! Even tried the couples massage which was very relaxing!

This place deserves more than 5 stars, we had a wonderful time at Luca & Giovanna’s!
