I would have to seriously nitpick to complain about the Smith Hotel in any way… the place is fantastic.
The rooms are comfortable, warm, inviting, and adequately supplied for any length of stay.

It looked great online. Before we arrived, we received a text and email with the door code and key box code. There was a safe parking area.

We stayed at this West Kingston hotel for only one night on our way to Montreal. The location alongside Highway 401 is absolutely perfect for that. Check-in was efficient and friendly.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean!
The kitchen staff are the real stars. Wendy and Bonny were so engaging and helpful.

My recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and professional service provided by the staff.

We love the fact that everything was closed. Super friendly staff. Everything was clean. Restaurants are within walking distance. We love the hot tub rooms!

The hotel’s location is very convenient to walk around the city and there are some restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops nearby.
Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great experience at this hotel for the price. We had a waterfront room. The room was clean and fairly updated. It had everything we could want. Loved the lobby bar, coffee area and restaurant.

Awesome hotel with awesome service, a five minute drive from the heart of downtown Kingston and a reasonable price to boot!

Very nice quiet location. They did not have a laundry room or any vending machines so do stock up in some late night snacks. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds.

Highly recommend this hotel! It offers a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service.

While the room was comfortable and breakfast was fairly good, there are a couple of negatives that stood out for me.
The biggest one is the lack of an elevator.

Stayed here July 2025 for a night and it was superb. Plenty of parking, check in was easy, rooms clean, nice pool, breakfast was good.

Good location, close enough to businesses and good options. Very friendly staff, Honey has been helpful and answered all questions.

I was visiting a girlfriend at the hotel as her daughter was competing at a skating tournament at the slush puppy Arena. We went down for lunch and Kamal seated us as it had just opened for lunch.

From the beginning when we arrived, everything was smooth our reservation was perfect. Had a wonderful room. The front desk was very helpful.

From the first inquiry phone call (sports team) to Linda, the process was easy and pleasant. The hotel is clean, updated and the staff are very friendly.

Our team booked this hotel last-minute after our existing booking cancelled. Based on the nightly rate I wasn’t expecting much.

At a 2-star inexpensive motel in Ontario, I normally expect a working but noisy heating/cooling system, chipped bathroom elements, and slightly shabby if clean public areas. Not here!

We love comfort inn. Reasonably priced. Staff is warm and inviting. You know and provide all the right creature comforts. Great mattress extra towels a hearty breakfast eith gluten free options.

Pam at the front desk is the duty manager and was amazing in her hospitality and her baking is phenomenal. She helped make check in smooth and was very social.

The staff were very polite and supportive, especially Pam. She gave us some homemade pastries, which were absolutely delicious.

The Staff was awesome, they actually care***Annika was great. I would recommend this place hands down.
Clean air vents.

Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sudbury is just what you expect from this brand anywhere in North America. A large corporate hotel with no surprises.

We had a pleasant stay at the Ramada. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, which made everything much easier.

Had an amazing stay here—everything was spotless, the room was comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were friendly and made check-in super easy.

Room was nice, clean and quiet and friendly. It was convenient for our visit. There was a choice for eating but finer dining was limited.

We are always comfortable there, and while we were at the hospital I had a discussion with 3 people. Told them it was convenient, we we close to breakfast. You park at your door.

We were lucky to have a newly renovated room on the fifth floor at the very end of the hallway.

We knew about the renovations in advance, although they did not interfere with our stay. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms — very nicely put together.

My husband and I came to Toronto to see a show and chose the Novotel to stay at because of the location close to Union Station.

Overall, we found it to be a good hotel, centrally located, close to everything in Downtown. Comfortable room, European standard. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent stay, friendly staff. Beautiful room. Only a 10 minute drive to the wonderful downtown Kingston shopping. Also, great restaurant and shopping in walking distance from the hotel.

Jeet is the best front desk. He is adorable and charming. He always had a smile on his face when someone approaches him. The morning lady front desk was also very good (I didn't get her name).

After cleaning there is unusual smell to the room. But the very important to me everyday they change towels. The television is very useful because all the channels are open and free.

A pleasant stay overall for a sporting tournament at Laurentian university.
The rooms were very good. Nice and big and updated very nicely too.

We had our Offsite at this hotel and I was really impressed with service and the whole experience. The two days meeting could not run any smoother and hassle free. Every service was on time.

We had a wonderful stay with my family as we travelled to Toronto for a bucket-list trip to see a Raptors NBA game.

Our first stay here and we loved it! The location is great and accesses the PATH. The bank vault was super cool. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for a few days in late July for my birthday. I originally picked this hotel because it was close to the water.

We stayed 4 nights at the Delta. Our room had amazing views, it was stunning. The room itself was large and very nice.

I’ve spent the past two Christmas holidays at this hotel, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to stay in Toronto.

First time staying at a Shangri-La property, and we were very impressed with the service.

FANTASTIC! Room was great. Super quiet! Room size was terrific! Walk in shower great!
Hot water fluctuation in the shower not so much.
Room was DARK! So wonderful to not have lights all night long.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, and it turned out to be a great place to stay while visiting Toronto.
The location is probably the biggest highlight.

Feb 2025. We arrived for my daughter’s 40th. Myself and 2 grandchildren. Aged 8 and 11. The staff went above and beyond our expectations.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a staycation at The Ritz-Carlton, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish.

Review for the bar in the lobby:
Very nice staff — welcoming and courteous.
Overall nice experience at their bar. They have wines, spirits, and you can also order food.

We have been staying at Fairmont Royal York for a few years now. Everyone is always so kinda and attentive making sure our stay is fantastic.
