Great room, great staff, good restaurant! Quick to fix any problems we had and get anything we needed. Very comfortable and clean with good view! Internet was quite sufficient to stream movies from home and included!

Everything that you need is here. The building and units are beautiful and the staff members are friendly and efficient. The building is right on the transit line. The subway and PATH system are accessible just a few steps from the lowest floor elevator. All the entertainment, theatre, restaurants, tourist sights, sports facilities, museums and shopping that you could want are here.

Really classy hotel/ residence. I'm in love one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. The rooms are a bit small though but comfortable either way. If you have the money to stay here I would recommend it. Just really pricey.

Fast check in, cheap rates, spacious rooms, bar and food was good would definitely go back. Liked the fact that being cold and the winter we could use the under path to walk to the Scotiabank arena for the hockey game from the hotel.

The hotel is amazing! The rooms are quite spacious. The decor is a mix between modern and traditional and the rooms tastefully decorated. The city views are nice at night. It is also very clean and immaculate. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very noisy place. The facilities in room are not enough. Room charges are 429 dollars per night and they simply don’t provide drinking water in room.
So I don’t recommend this hotel.

An awesome hotel and such a great experience!

I have staid here on many occasions. But the last two stays have been disappointing. Only a month between week long stays and they have nothing indicating that I’m a returning client. The customer service was so poor. And all that was offered was an excuse from the manager.

Fantastic experience both times I have stayed here via a corporate event. So impressed! And the breakfast hostess Lilibeth is such a ray of sunshine in the morning, we all just loved her Keep up the good work, I will definitely be back!

I was treated with disrespect by bar staff. As a paying customer, I was asked first to relocate to another spot and when I did, asked again to vacate. The bar staff were simply rude.

I cannot say enough about my stay here. I stayed here in a suite on the 32nd floor. The view was breathtaking, the room was spotless, all the amenities were up to date. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Can't wait until my next trip to Toronto.

This hotel is gorgeous! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I forgot my toothbrush and all I had to do was text the front desk and they brought one up to me. It's also perfectly located in walking distance of everything and there are two parking lots located close. I didn't chose to use it this time, but they have valet too.

Had my wedding here. Only have the best things to say. The venue speaks for itself and the staff there are outstanding. Angela was our coordinator and was always easy to get a hold of for questions and very responsive to our needs. Tobias and Rene the night crew who were there were also excellent… Rene was a rockstar she did a fantastic job! Thank you for making our day so memorable.

Great location in downtown Toronto. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was great, came with stove, sink, and microwave. Even had a dishwasher and dryer/washer combo. Spacious rooms, quite and very clean. Will be back for sure!

My Husband & I, booked One King West Hotel on our Anniversary earlier this year, June 2018. Hotel is beautiful, modern and location is great. Breakfast was delicious & the we found the staff to be very friendly. The Hotel Manager went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in the downtown Toronto area. Definitely will be returning in the near future.

I enjoy One King West. The staff is always amazing with huge smiles. The rooms are nice and pretty simple. I've been meaning to check out the vault but there was a wedding shooting down there last time I stayed. I enjoy the history of the building and the plaques to show it off. It is an easy walk to the ACC and Massey Hall. It has a nice little gym and saunas. I wish there was a pool, hot tub or even a normal tub in the room but that's just personal preference.

This is our hotel of choice when staying downtown Toronto. The management and staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable each time. Manager Shah heads the operations flawlessly somehow finding a way to make each stay more remarkable than the previous! Very clean with sleek, updated rooms; great room service, all of the desired amenities and a breakfast/dinner menu that will hold it's own against any other local restaurant. This newly renovated historic landmark has a rich history and very bright future in the city. We look forward to our next stay at One King West. Thank you!

I went to Toronto on business and stayed at One King West for the first time. On arrival the front desk staff were attentive and extremely friendly. From check-in to room service, to check-out, they ensured my stay was nothing short of exemplary. My room was impeccable upon arrival and was cleaned to the same standards daily. The fitness facility has amazing views and is fully equipped with everything you could need, and more! I can't wait to go back!

Stayed as part of wedding reception at same hotel. Great location for visiting Toronto. Excellent staff and hospitality for reception and dinner, for example, the hotel deployed several staff to guide the guests from the twelfth floor reception to the third floor banquet room through several different possible elevator banks and hallways. Arrived late due to airline issues, was able to get club sandwich at the bar about 11:30 pm. Our lost luggage was delivered to the room while we were out after the airline delivery service finally showed up. Hotel handled all our special requests graciously. Our suite room had a clothes washer and dryer and a dishwasher, small stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Hotel connects to the under ground PATH so could walk from Union station (UP train from airport) although navigation easier on street level.

My room was on the 11th floor in the historical tower. It was very well equipped and clean. Staff were all very friendly and the lobby atmosphere was unexpectedly hip and upbeat. I read a lot of reviews about amazing views and sadly, my room didn't have the same view. I guess it doesn't matter anyway since I didn't spend a whole lot of time other than sleeping in the room. Overall, I really liked the hotel and I'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Despite them knowing there were 3 guests we were only given 2 sets of towels. The temperature control is in the main bedroom and so is the heater so when the door is closed, the guest on the pull out couch got incredibly cold. No extra linens in the room, had to be ordered up to the room. Only had valet parking which was $50 a night. The valets were very nice but would have liked the option to not have to rely on a valet service for the parking. Convenient location along The Path.

The customer service was great :) the rooms are beautiful and the bed was amazing. The rooms were great but the elevator was old actually was very old! The bar pop and water was so expensive! Bottle of water and can of pop 17$ the view from the room was pretty good. And it’s near nice restaurants. Overall I would stay at this place.

The situation is very good, in the financial center of Toronto and with access to the subway. The rooms could be a bit more up to date.

Terrible experience here. The two males at the front desk were persistently harassing my guests and myself. They wouldn't even let us sit on the couches in the lobby even though we had a room there. They told us to leave the area in order to seat other guests. They were also counting how many people were going in with us even though over 50 teenagers were loitering in the lobby and going into the rooms in groups. They told us only 4 people could be in the rooms yet there were two very loud parties on our floor. Our room door was also somehow wide open with items missing after we went out and came back to the hotel which leads me to believe that the staff went in there after they saw us leaving the hotel because they tracked everything we did throughout our stay there. The rooms are also overpriced, small and basic. The images on Expedia are of their residence suites. Will not be returning or recommending. Learn how to treat your guests.

I stayed here for 3 nights in two different rooms and found it to be an enjoyable stay. I appreciated the decor, and the size of the rooms. I also found the rooms to be in better condition than some other hotels downtown. The direct access to the underground PATH and metro is definitely a perk. There's a Starbucks conveniently located across the street and sit-down and fast food restaurants nearby. The lobby has a darker, old-school 'lounge' type of vibe I liked. One room I was in had the 'Atrium View' which at least on the floor I was on may as well have been 'no view' since I was looking out into a very dark area on the inside of the hotel. In this room when I woke up in the morning I thought it was still dark out, despite the fact that it was bright and sunny outside. I would recommend a non 'atrium view' unless you don't mind a lack of natural light.

Front desk staff were lovely, room was nice and the hotel itself is beautiful. It’s got an awesome location and I wanted to love it. Unfortunately security or whatever staff they have standing near the elevators at night were awful. Incredibly rude and condescending. Stopped me from going to hotels asking me to prove I was staying here and not a hired in call girl. I was dressed in black jeans, a coat, and boots, even if I was dressed provocatively they have no right to treat someone like that. I had to wait for my husband to catch up and flash his room key before he would allow me past.

I wanted to love this hotel. It is beautiful, the rooms are great, and it has an awesome location. Unfortunately we had such an awful experience with a staff member here I don’t think I’d ever return. I was accused of being a call girl, stopped and held from going to the elevators to return to my room. I was not dressed inappropriately, and even if I was to be treated that way was disgusting and humiliating. I had to wait for my husband who was a few steps behind me to show our key before I was allowed forward. I was sober, dressed modestly and simply returning from a concert.

Beautiful hotel. Didn't have a good experience with Valet parking. Took awhile to get my car after bringing wrong one up first time. Waited 20min for room service to finish only to have our room switch because it was taking too long. Staff was still very friendly throughout experience. Great Food and still a very nice place to spend the night.

This place is a really nice hotel. It has an amazing historical feel to it, and the front desk folks are very friendly and helpful. The decor is nice and the food is quite good. A little bit on the pricier side but overall the experience is fantastic. It is a great place to visit for tourists but also for anyone that prefers a historical stay that dates back many decades with a hint of modern design.

Well located and connected to the rest of the Down Town by "Path". Very good restaurant and bar.

Chic decor. Interesting historic building with good view of the city. Epic vault downstairs — worth checking out. I enjoyed being able to text the hospitality services. Coffee in the lobby was a bit pricey but the service was friendly and fast.

I thought the room was excellent. I was not prepared to have such a good view! The staff were nice & accommodating whenever I needed help. It was cool to be able to reach the underground ‘PATH’ straight from the hotel; there are so many business down there I could get most anything I wanted without venturing outside. The kitchenette in the room was pretty robust.

LLugar comfortable to stay, we went to see the exibision of Guillermo del Toro and was where we ospedamos service is perfect and very nice I recommend a lot to stay.

Pretty good. I enjoyed the view. Didn't have any real problems. Though I found the temperature of the shower was way too hot. Even when it was turned towards cold it felt pretty hot.

Solid 4* hotel in downtown Toronto. We got upgraded to a suite. Clean, modern, spacious, comfortable with soft and firm pillows. The shower and tub were fine but not as modern as I've seen elsewhere (hence 4*) but everything else has been updated. Will keep in mind next time I'm in town.

Hotel was clean and quite beautiful. Management was very nice, room was clean and the hotel is very conveniently located. Be careful about ordering room service though. There is a 5$ fee to bring it to your room and an automatic 15% gratuity added to the bill, but they don't mention this when you're ordering over the phone. I ordered their One burger ($19) and pizza ($17) and the bill came to $55. That's shady business practices, even if the food was good.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The room was excellent, again. The service from the staff was excellent, again. The hotel fitness center was… closed for remodeling. I actually returned to this hotel because of the location in Toronto and for the great fitness facility. I found out it was closed for remodeling after I had arrived — — at the price, that is unacceptable to me. The fitness center is one of the amenities advertised — — especially at this particular hotel's website. I've stayed at several other hotels that gave advanced warning of remodeling. I appreciated the offer from the staff to go to another gym at another hotel. However, use of the other gym also involved walking to the other hotel… it was six degrees outside. No other option was given. I simply was not prepared to do that. If I had known in advance, I could have been prepared or made other arrangements. So again, the hotel itself is fantastic. The location is great. I would not complain if the fitness center were not considered such a significant part of this hotel choice, or if I had been made aware in advance and could have prepared differently.

Grandeur hotel. In need of a few renovations and some tender loving care. A bit pricey as to really pull this off as a great wedding venue, you need to dress it up with a lot of flowers and additional decor. Everything is an extra and everything is regimented. Not much wiggle room. Still, a very unique venue that is sure to impress your guests.

A hotel just fabulous, we arrived on a Saturday in the late afternoon, there was no more room in the parking lot of the hotel they we headed to a parking lot not even 500 meters where one paid 30 euros approximately from 5pm to 11am it seems. The hotel is splendid and we were fortunate to be upgraded. With a breathtaking view. Seen on the CN tower, on the lake and on the other side of the city. What better dream. Just a crazy sequel, beautiful! Very comfortable and large bed! I'd like to go back! :D.

The location is very good hotel, downstairs is the subway and street car, walk to downtown attractions are also very near!

Price is for the location. We had upgraded to a city view room as the first one opened up to a WALL. LITERALLY outside of the window was a blue wall. The room is average. Small bathroom. I guess you're paying for the view and location. For the amount we paid ($300) you could get an airbnb instead with an even better view and the entire place to yourself.

Nice hotel but very small reception area for sitting in. When we were there last night, it was entirely populated with business people with laptops plugged in who were spread out all over the sofas. They seemed very put out when we asked if we could sit in 2 of the free chairs next to them.
Doesn't really cater for children (we were there with our 6 month old grandchild) and were put into a noisy room that had an air conditioning unit outside above the balcony. This unit kept us and the baby awake a lot of the night. I reported it to the night service staff at 11 15 who advised that they would attend to see what they could do but no one came!
On checking out this morning we were given a 20% discount and an apology but this did not make up for a night of lost sleep. I would not return. Avoid room 1509 on the 15th floor.

This hotel is very nice, clean and sofisticated. Our room had a mini kitchen which was cool. It actually felt like we were in a small studio apartment. I really enjoyed that feeling. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It's been an excellent stay so far. View is pretty good. Service had been fine but I haven't attempted to take advantage of it. Plan to park somewhere else as valet was full.

Solid four stars for this hotel. Coveted location that is close to everything downtown. The staff was fantastic and concierge was very helpful albeit service was a little slow. The rooms require more attention to detail and cleaning is not up to standards. Overall the stay was very pleasant and the history of the hotel was interesting. I would have liked more access to the historical rooms when they are empty.

Great location. Close to entertainment district. Room included microwave, range top, dishwasher, and laundry. Parking was the only issue. Valet parking is expensive, and a sign that the parking lot was full was often displayed. There are many other underground options around the block but they too are expensive. We would stay again. The vault in the basement makes for great photos.

Nice hotel with the history that accompanies it ability to visit the safe was a more single downside in the suite in which I was we saw that the door was old view the story so the isolation of the hallway noise was not ideal.

Well, let me tell you all about One King West… It's easy to see how it was very grand at one point. The marble, high ceilings and old time vault are impressive. Location is great, near everything downtown and also the rail, however the room was not cleaned on arrival. The rubbish was not empty and there was food left in the mini fridge from the previous occupant. Whether a high end hotel or not, it's not unreasonable to expect a clean room and that made us suspect of whether the room had been properly cleaned. Overall pleasant and great location but standards seem to have slipped.

Had our first stay and really enjoyed it, genuinely friendly staff and room was great (we stayed in an historical superior) and was never disappointed. Book direct for the best price!

Probably the nicest place I've stayed at in Canada. The location is perfect and right next to the subway station. Service is very friendly and the room is clean and elegant. The view from the 20th floor is pretty cool too.

Incredible wedding banquet venue; perfect for ~180-200 people, good sized dance floor. The high ceilings make for a very majestic hall to host the reception. Only slight negative is that washrooms are a trek up to the next floor which can be cumbersome.

A friend booked a room at this hotel for her birthday where we pre-drank before going clubbing. The location is walking distance to Union Station and is close to Madison Mercer nightclub. Rooms are very nice, the room we had had a great view and a mini kitchen Overall a good hotel.

Prompt service, very clean. Lobby did smell a bit strongly of bleach for the duration of our stay but that's about the only complaint! The room was very clean, had absolutely everything we could ask for. When asking for some extras from there concierge desk, they were prompt! 5/5 in every aspect I could come up with.

We stayed at my this hotel for a birthday party. The room was clean and had a lovely view of the city. The staff was courteous and it had a cool vault in the basement. There's valet parking but it gets full fast on weekends so you have to park on wellington and take path to the hotel. Not bad but a little bit of a hassle with baggage. Nonetheless a great place to stay :)

Friday April 29th was 5 star. The staff handling breakfast were welcoming, solicitous, and cheerful. Saturday April 30th, 1 star. The staff handling breakfast (a different crew than on Friday) were rude, unwelcoming, and inattentive. By the way, don't ask them if breakfast is open even if nobody is around, because your response will be "since 6:30" and that's it. In the end, I would spend your money somewhere else; too many other hotels where they realize they are selling hospitality.

The room was very nice, though it was a little small. The elevators are a little confusing, too. Other than that, I had a pleasant experience. The hotel is very central and convenient when attending downtown functions.

Top marks for location etc but too many rooms face painted walls and its almost prison-like. Its dismal, not a 'private retreat'. Their website glosses things over. I'm not sure that converting this place into a hotel was such a great idea. The Staff are professional, respond quickly and rooms are certainly comfortable even mini kitchens but most only have a shower. The Whirlpool was broken the entire visit. For such a large place, it should have been fixed within a day like most hotels do.

The room was great especially for the price. It was really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. I like that the thermostat was easy to find, unlike the last room I was in. The location of the hotel was perfect because it was so close to downtown Toronto so I could pop out and grab something to eat. I also love that One King West had guaranteed reservation for late arrivals.

Check in was fast and friendly. I had a suite and it was quite large. It included a kitchen. I also had a good view of both the harbour and the financial district. Room was clean and quiet.

Went for late night drinks. The staff was attentive and caring. My friend got a whiskey sour but it was not made with the egg white so they made her another drink complementary. Just request the specific drink that you want and you'll be fine there.

Amazing architecture. Clean and nice rooms. Beautiful view. Friendly and helpful staff. What more could you want? … better Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is very important to me and it was the speed of dial up or worse.

Great hotel for A decent price. And some of the best views in the city. The lower floors leave something to the imagination as you really don't get much of a view beyond a wall 6 metres from your window. But anything above 17 is rather nice. Great pool too.

We will definitely be back. It looks very upscale both in the lobby and in the room. The staff went out of their way to be very helpful. Our room had high ceilings and windows on 3 sides. The kitchen was nice and the views breath taking. Its a perfect location between the mall, st lawrence market and the stadium.

A suite. I told my girlfriend I'm leaving her for this hotel. It's very homelike for modern homes and condos. Above basic amenities, Bluetooth radio etc. The only recommendation is for a note stating the coffee amount to make on a single packet (4fl c. ). I did enough coffee for 2 mugs. Gorgeous building as well. Convenient from Union Station.
