Staff were very lovely.
We were originally put in a room with no windows and questionable cleanliness, there was hair everywhere — in the bed, bath, counters, towels.

We had a great experience during our stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We truly appreciate their excellent customer service and hospitality.

I was welcomed by Rowena. She was very lovely at the front desk, she was very informative. My room was very clean, very quiet. The morning breakfast was great, with a very large choice of options.

We booked this hotel for a hockey tournament. While I didn't seem to have any issues, some of our families did.

Positive: Location and amenities were perfect for our needs.

We were just lucky enough to have the Team at the Royal West Edmonton cater a lunch for our team at our warehouse. The food was incredible! What an amazing Christmas lunch for our team.

This hotel is super quiet, very sound proof and conveniently located across from Bower and tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are upgraded with remote heat and AC unit.

Came here as it is close to the hospital. Room was decent. Staff were all polite and helpful. Shout out to the kitchen staff this morning 23/5/2026 who I made me feel so welcome and seen.

4.5 stars. The room was a little dated; the bathroom counter/shelves were worn, and the shower hardware was old. The furniture and bed were good and the air conditioning was excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I spoke to Cheryl several times over the phone prior to my booking.

The parking lot was extremely icy. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Sometimes it was freezing and other times it was scalding. You could hear the plumbing from other people rooms.

The staff there were awesome.
Very friendly and easy to talk to.
Room was clean and everything you needed was there.
I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to everyone.

Most everything was good. Thanks for the TV with access to the HDMI ports. The room service and cleaning was a bit slow on one day.

It's a budget friendly hotel in the heart of Banff. The rooms are basic and small. We found our room to be clean and the bathroom was reasonably functional.

Located in the heart of downtown Banff you can't sleep closer to the action then at the King Edward Hotel.
We stayed in the Queen room which had basic hotel amenities. The room was clean.

This was a really nice hotel and good expeience. We were in the city for a medical issue and 65th birthday.

Desk staff should do a bit better job explaining the parking options especially when it’s cold. I was there more than 25 hours before another guest told me there was a heated parkade.

Regular guest at this property and always greeted with such professionalism. Lucilla at the front desk and Joy in the 4404 restaurant always provide excellent service.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The check-in process was a breeze, and our membership was recognized — we were even offered special amenities for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch.

Great staff and very helpful, rooms are dated however. This location is in need of renovations. It's also located in a industrial area so a lack of amenities.

Excellent place. Have stayed twice. First tie I see all microwaves have the correct time on them. Usually I have to set the tie myself. It's the little things.

Do plan to eat outside the hotel if you're celiac like myself, the sushi restaurant doesn't have many options for us folks, though Uber eats was simple to navigate.

If you're looking for an event venue that truly goes above and beyond or if you're getting started with events and need a little extra handholding, this is the place.

With its concrete block wall construction, the room was quite and cozy.

The Plains Hotel is a quiet gem in regards to value stays. The basic amenities are all here and if you just need a place to lay your head, your wallet and your peace of mind will thank you.

Friendly staff, good location. Room slightly dated. Could hear a train at night, but almost all hotels are in the same corner of the city, so assume this will be a problem at all hotels.

Had one night at the hotel and everything was very good. Had trouble with my key and the lady in the front desk fixed me right up. Great location with lots of amenities within walking distance.

We have rented the hotel party room several times, and every time we had a wonderful experience.

Everything is great so far, even coffee is good here. The only suggestions for the owners/runners of this place is to have more than one person on the front desk when needed.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I stayed on the 4th floor with my friend and everything was great. The front desk staff member, Parveen, was extremely friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile.

Pet friendly rooms on ground floor are set up the best I’ve seen. Clean rooms with excellent bedding and mattresses. Friendly, helpful staff. Great complimentary breakfast. Right next door to Costco.

The included breakfast really stood out. There was a good variety and it was so tasty! The serving attendant, Neranji was so bubbly and friendly. She kept the room clean and well stocked.

A no-frills place to stay. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern. It's affordable and if you aren't looking for all the bells and whistles, it's great.

Rooms need some updating. Some are better than others. Currently the one I'm in needs new bathroom shower tiles etc. Old and moldy looking.

I went to sips pub. Didnt deal with the hotel at all. Sips had great staff and food. Definitely a regular stop for dinner when im in town.
