Very clean hotel for a good price.

This was a really nice hotel and good expeience. We were in the city for a medical issue and 65th birthday.

Do plan to eat outside the hotel if you're celiac like myself, the sushi restaurant doesn't have many options for us folks, though Uber eats was simple to navigate.

If you're looking for an event venue that truly goes above and beyond or if you're getting started with events and need a little extra handholding, this is the place.

Great location for me! Close to business that I deal with and considering the busy roads it's by, it was quite quiet.

Excellent place. Have stayed twice. First tie I see all microwaves have the correct time on them. Usually I have to set the tie myself. It's the little things.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The check-in process was a breeze, and our membership was recognized — we were even offered special amenities for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch.

Great staff and very helpful, rooms are dated however. This location is in need of renovations. It's also located in a industrial area so a lack of amenities.

With its concrete block wall construction, the room was quite and cozy.

The Plains Hotel is a quiet gem in regards to value stays. The basic amenities are all here and if you just need a place to lay your head, your wallet and your peace of mind will thank you.

Positive: easy relaxing day 😌 at work nice and quiet. Negative: nope.

The room was small but very clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant gentleman at the desk who made check in a breeze. I thought the fitness area was pretty good for an older hotel.

Friendly staff, good location. Room slightly dated. Could hear a train at night, but almost all hotels are in the same corner of the city, so assume this will be a problem at all hotels.

Had one night at the hotel and everything was very good. Had trouble with my key and the lady in the front desk fixed me right up. Great location with lots of amenities within walking distance.

We have rented the hotel party room several times, and every time we had a wonderful experience.

Everything is great so far, even coffee is good here. The only suggestions for the owners/runners of this place is to have more than one person on the front desk when needed.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I stayed on the 4th floor with my friend and everything was great. The front desk staff member, Parveen, was extremely friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile.

Pet friendly rooms on ground floor are set up the best I’ve seen. Clean rooms with excellent bedding and mattresses. Friendly, helpful staff. Great complimentary breakfast. Right next door to Costco.

Rooms need some updating. Some are better than others. Currently the one I'm in needs new bathroom shower tiles etc. Old and moldy looking.

I went to sips pub. Didnt deal with the hotel at all. Sips had great staff and food. Definitely a regular stop for dinner when im in town.

The included breakfast really stood out. There was a good variety and it was so tasty! The serving attendant, Neranji was so bubbly and friendly. She kept the room clean and well stocked.

The owners go above and beyond for customers. Pet friendly with per day pay for them. Kitchenettes are suitable. My room was a king size bed.

Pros: I don't know if I liked the hotel that much, but I definitely loved being in Canmore. The apartment is definitely spacious enough and the views are insane because, again, you're in Canmore.

Right off the highway, was easy to navigate. Had plenty of availability last minute. The room was just the right amount of rustic charm meets modern amenities.
