Great hostel! It’s not downtown, a 20-30 minute walk uphill but with the free bus pass the hostel provides, you can be downtown in a few minutes & busses run pretty regularly.

This place is absolutely phenomenal!

The hostel itself was great, super friendly staff and the main area, washrooms, and bedrooms were very clean and modern.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. There are lockers for suitcases and curtains around each bed. There is a toilet and shower in each room.

Perfect place for my needs. I was here to spend lots of time outside and hit lots of trails outside so I needed a safe space for my stuff during the day and a place to sleep.

I was an out of province student (no family around) and I had to get a knee surgery at the Banff Hospital.
The hostel manager was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.

We had the best time here. We met people from all around the world and were so happy to stay for 4 days. Everything was grand. If you want to take a bath, then be careful and dip in the glacier water.

The hotel is located betoween banff to jaspar, So that is inaccessible.
If you stay here, you need to come in a car.

It was very great to stay at the Castle Mountain wilderness hostel. I was extremely happy that they had showers and all amenities you could wish for.
