Just finished my 13 nights here. It is a cube hostel and that is what you get but I found it more comfy than many bunk bed hostels I have stayed at in europe.

If you wish to have the capsule hotel experience, this hotel offers you a nice experience thanks to the careful choice of materials.

Lovely stay here at Tobu! In the heart of Shibuya which was ideal for our family and customer service is excellent. Thank you for always cleaning up the room & bathroom.

It's quite an old looking hotel outside but quite a modern one inside.

We got the high floor park-side, King Room. It's the most incredible hotel room in Tokyo, the view from the room is amazing!

We stayed at Sequence Miyashita for 6 nights. The hotel offers an amazing location, close proximity to popular Shibuya attractions and a short walk from Shibuya station.

KARIO Sasazuka is a very comfortable stay, especially for families. The 2-bedroom unit is more than enough for 4 people and never felt cramped. We were very happy with the facilities.

The rooms are spacious. The facility for the kitchen and laundry is a plus. The locations was super, very close to the train station and lots of restaurants and supermarket. Very convenient.

This location was optimal to not pay the higher prices in the heart of the city centers. Station is nearby, few food spots and a speak easy bar right next door.

New facility hotel and nice residential area. A bit quite area compared to Shibuya station area which is too crowded. Close to Starbucks Reserve Roastary Cafe on Meguro river!

I had a lovely 2 week stay.
The staff was very very nice, polite and helpfull, the room was very comfortable and I always looked forward to come "home" in the evening.
I hope to visit you again soon!

Stayed here during the World Athletics Championships that were held during September 2025.

Good location not far from the station and have many places to eat and go shopping. Free breakfast but a bit too early ending at 9 am every day, I wish it could be extended to 9:30am.

Location is very good. Staff is friendly and speaks a little English. Rooms are very small but everything is well organized. Check out at 10am is a hassle, but luggage can be left in the lobby.

The room has a nice view, and it is clean and convenient for getting to Ikebukuro.

The sunset from this room is really beautiful, and it has a very Japanese feeling. The area is very quiet. There is a convenience store nearby, and there is a supermarket near the station.

What a fantastic, understated hotel located in a quieter part of the NishiShinjuku area. TokyoStay is within walking distance to busier parts of Shinjuku and public transport.

The hotel is very well located — close to both the bus station and the Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome Metro Station. You can also walk to Shinjuku Station in about 30 minutes.

On a small quiet alley 3 minutes from the very buying restaurant and shopping area. Clean and well maintained hotel with an elevator. Very firm beds and very comfortable room and shower.

This was the cheapest non-capsule hotel I could find in shibuya/shinjuku and it did what I needed it to do. No frills, but everything you need in a great location.

Good location in Shinjuku. About 5 minutes to Shinjuku station and lots of dining options nearby.
Initially thought that the hotel and its rooms would be dated but everything was good and well kept.

I would like to personally recognize Kayama for her knowledge and professionalism in checking us in and extremely helpful personality she took very good care of us during our stay.

Absolutely great hotel and amenities. I appreciate the cleanliness of the shower and bed. I slept so well. Great price for Shinjuku.

The room is slightly bigger than most big chain hotels in Tokyo. It was more like a boarding house than a hotel but was super comfortable.

Super clean and modern—definitely more “techy” than a usual hostel.
Room was big had everything I needed, really efficient setup.
Loved the smart home features.

I stayed at Unplan Shinjuku and honestly, it's a place I can't wait to return to.
The common areas are fantastic.

Was nervous to stay in a hostel again as a 36 yo solo woman. Only the mixed dorm was available.
Shower room and bathroom was pretty clean.

Hosts speak very good English. Our suite was well decorated, clean and very comfortable. The location is brilliant, a short walk from Shinjuku Station and the TMG observatory.

The host was very helpful and nice. He even prepared materials which showed nearby places for breakfast and other meals, as well as nearby attractions and how to go around.

This was such a pleasant and comfortable surprise after staying in some horrible moldy places before! Place was clean and looked very nice, kitchen was stocked with all necessary utencils.

Very clean. Big and comfy bed. Nice facilities. Amenities are better quality than usual. The room is small (mine was 11 sq. M. ) but I think it's normal for business hotels.

We only spent a night here but the service was great. The front staff was very nice and helpful. First time we saw how small Japanese hotel rooms can be so we were a bit surprised.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was truly a home away from home. Nana-San and Yuta-San have created a space that is welcoming, warm, and exceptional.

So amazing if you want to see a quieter, more homely side of tokyo!

If you only need a place to stay at night and have a peaceful rest, This is your place! I enjoy my 6 day stay here, really close to train station and convenient store with restaurants nearby.

Other than good location, walking distance bus stops, train station and foods nearby, the place was good and full of artworks by the host, more like a gallery you can sleep in.

Friendly staff, nice lobby and lots of freebies. Just that the rooms are not really soundproof so there are hourly restrictions on activity.

Incredibly clean and reasonably priced hostel, well located for buses and trains into the city centre and to/from the airport. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind.

Very close to the metro station. Looks reasonable price hotel which able to reach downtown Tokyo around 15 minutes.
