Fantastic location for exploring the city. 5 mins walk to Okachimachi Stn, under 10mins for Ueno Stn. The walk to each is fascinating, always loads to see but not as manic as Shinbuya or Shinjuko.

Excellent location at a great price. The room was small although this was to be expected. The beds were mildly uncomfortable but manageable. The included breakfast was good.

My boyfriend and I love staying at Super Hotel Okachimachi! We've stayed in other hotels and airbnb's in the area before, but Super Hotel is the best.

We stayed at this hotel in Akihabara and really enjoyed it. It’s small but very clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent—just steps away from the main street.

Complete amenity. Room is very good. They have a multi electric plug already installed in the power outlet in the room. They have breakfast option, only not in the hotel building but in a nearby cafe.

We stayed in this hotel on two occasions whilst in Japan — for five/six days each time. I have to say it was the most comfortable, clean and relaxing stay we had!

Pros:
• Excellent location close to Kanda Station with great access to JR and metro lines.
• Clean and functional rooms with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a small fridge and a bathtub.

First time at an APA Hotel and I like it. The rooms are smaller than the ones I usually stay at (~120sq vs ~150sq), but it's fine for a single person — two might be pushing it. The rooms are clean

Very good location, close to the subway and train. Nearby shops and restaurants. Ueno Park and shopping streets within walking distance. Breakfast menu basic, but acceptable.

Absolutely love this hotel. I’ve been back twice. Great amenities, warm staff, and quiet, comfortable rooms. Worth every penny. Hope to be back soon :)

Loved this place so much the first time that we came back for our second and third visits. Conveniently located within walking distance to a train station. Very calm area.

I stayed at Nui for one week and it is an amzing hostel. Very clean, and tidy, beds were comfortable and the showers were also very nice. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

Everything about this hostel was perfect!

Very good hotel, I had no issues here. There is a washing machine and dryer available to use in the lobby, gowns and little helpful toiletries to take.

The rooms were lovely and clean, facilities were all working. The only thing I'd complain about is that, apart from the daily room cleaning, there's nowhere for you to discard of your rubbish.

Just about perfect business hotel for single or couples. Location is excellent (near 2 train stations, walking distance to Akihabara).

I have stayed in probably 5-6 APAs throughout Japan and this one was similar to many of the others (to be expected).

We was stajni for 5 nights in 6 person group in one room on 7th floor. It was really great. Price/quality ratio is at high level. Room was big, 2 beds and tatami mat.

Great location! Convenient access from Narita Airport via the Keisei Access Express (much cheaper than the Skyliner! ) and also well connected to all of Tokyo.

The hotel is conveniently located near the station. However, basic amenities such as toothbrushes, tea, and bottled water are not provided, so you have to buy them yourself.

We had a fantastic stay at Minn Ueno and would absolutely come back.

This hotel is in a great location. It’s near train stations, attractions (Ueno Park, Ameyokocho etc. ), convenience stores, bars/restaurants, shops and a grocery (Takeya).

There's a lot of APA hotels scattered throughout Japan, but this location specifically is excellent. Largely due to its great location. The rooms are modern, clean and in a great neighborhood.

We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Minn Ueno Shin-Okachimachi. Our group consisted of three adults and one infant, and the room was very comfortable and well-suited for a family.

This is a serviced apartment rather than a hotel so you can cook and wash/dry your clothes during your stay.
There are only 2 negatives. The small size. 4 of us barely fit in the room.

An enjoyable stay here. The whole room is well equipped, thoroughly cleaned, and has spacious space for hanging clothes and storing living items. It is easy to do self check-in.

Really loved the layout, the closeness to transport and sights of Tokyo. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Dormy inn Ueno. Dormy inn Ueno offers incredible value with its unique perks like the bathhouse and evening ramen.

Room: small, as you may expect, but sufficient for one person. There's a small desk and closet area with a chair. Mini fridge was very helpful in managing food.

Great hub to explore Tokyo. Rooms have a decent size and are very clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive.

If you are a light sleeper, you must book a deluxe room so you are facing the back of the hotel.

APA Hotel Kanda Ekimae offers an unbeatable location for travelers who want to maximize their time in Tokyo.

Stayed there 3 nights, room was clean and had all what you needed staff were polite and helpful.

This place was very spacious for our group of 8 people! It was the perfect location for getting around the local cities like Harajuku, Ginza, and Shibuya.

Great place for big groups and families, near everything and plenty of resources nearby. A good spot for a Tokyo plan.

We had a very pleasant stay at Best Western Hotel Fino Akihabara. The location is excellent for exploring Tokyo, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions.

The accommodation felt very safe. On 12/27, when guests forgot their belongings, the staff immediately prioritized service by notifying them as quickly as possible and verifying their documents.

I stayed at Toyoko INN Ueno Tawaramachi Station on October 10, 2025, during a business trip to Tokyo.

Great Overall experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Check-in and check-out was very simple and hassle free.

Another reservation in APA chain and another nice experience. We stayed in this hotel for around a week. Everything was great.

We stayed at this hotel in Tokyo for a week and had a good overall experience. The location is excellent — not far from Ueno Station and with a metro stop literally around the corner.
