Great location, only 1 min walk from Kamata JR Station, Granduo department store, and Donkihote.

Love this place! Really close to the station, to many good places nearby (foods, minimarket, don quijote, etc. ) and also relatively close to Haneda airport.

If you're looking for a no-frills, convenient stay near Haneda Airport, Toyoko Inn Haneda Kuko No. 1 is a solid choice.

I love the hotel staff — very respectful and forthcoming. Breakfast is served. Laundry was available; used it twice.

Route inn are always dependable and value for money. The room was small as usual but very clean. The beige colour bathroom needs an upgrade to sparkling white.

Hotel is semi automatic via scanning id for check in and check out. Location is right next to the train station but no noise. There is a small town next door with cafes and restaurants.

I really appreciated all the the condiments, including what seemed to be free towels for the shower which was appreciated.

Had a great stay here for a couple nights, my first time in Tokyo. Great location, close to the rail and happening areas, but an extremely quiet pocket where you can easily sleep.

Super friendly staff and really cozy! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Much larger than I expected! I stayed with just myself and a friend and there was plenty of space.

The staff is super friendly and talkative and speak good English. Special mention to Kira :) with whom I talked 2-3 hours one night.

We loved the place and the location. If you want a truly Japanese experience with the basics, stay there. I would stay there again.

My stay at Guest House Tokyo Samurai was excellent.
The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional.

The hotel is located in Taito City, close to Ueno (the Keisei express from Narita Airport will take you almost directly to the hotel!

Rooms are reasonably priced, enough amenities for basic needs and then some. The bestbpart is the proximity to the ginza line station. Will stay here again when we come back to tokyo.

Rooms are spacious enough for a solo traveler. You can opt not to have room service and they'd just give you a bag everyday to replace towels and trash bags.

It was a bit dirty and small, and there's no elevator, so if you have large luggage, it might be difficult to get to your room. However, overall, it was okay.

The rooms are clean and tiny—a given for a budget hotel in Tokyo.

Location is excellent. Be aware there is no area to sit in reception if you need to wait for a ride. Staff friendly enough but limited English and reception not always manned.

This is an adorable, quaint, but super clean and cute hotel. There are 3 rooms per floor, I think 8 floors total. Everything is compact, but thoughtfully built so that no space is wasted.

Comfy and superbly clean! Every time I return to the hotel, I feel refreshed and happy because of the relaxing atmosphere. The room is amazing, with a mini-kitchen where you can cook!

We stayed here for three nights in as a family of four (parents, a six year old and three year old). The location is central and walkable to Senso-ji temple and Asakusa train lines.

I had a wonderful stay at 9h Akasaka. I don't know what these commenters are expecting… I booked this hotel for about $30USD and the value is insane.

I don’t understand why this place has a low rating after my stay. The room is very clean and has everything needed. It’s a safe and quiet place near Honjo-Azumbashi and Asakusa station.

It is a “self service” hotel, you receive an email with instructions 1 day before checkin, but the hotel is highly clean and warm.
