SPA Hotels in Hokkaido

Wonderful hotel, really liked the Japanese style room I had. The provided yukatas were very nice! The onsen is greatly relaxing. The breakfast is something else, the French toast was great.

Nice little touristy town with a few things to do. However, the town exists because of the hotsprings. So people come maily for the Onsen. Managed well but be warned: you go in the nude!

Bibai is a really small town and could be quite boring for tourist but I happen to like small town and quietness. I’ll definitely recommend anyone who’s like me to stay in Hotel Bijiko.

If you read no further, at least know that this hotel is amazing. The location is excellent—the ferry terminal is easily accessible and Cape Peshi is a short walk away.

Awesome onsen, nice views and variety of different baths. Rooms are cozy in a traditional style. Bar, restaurant, vending machines and a souvenir shop are available on site.

Come here for the Onsen facilities and resort feel. It is based in a quiet village not too far from Sapporo.
The hotel itself is great. The room has a private Onsen.

We loved our stay at Villa Rusutsu. Our two-bedroom cabin with fireplace, soaking tub and comfy beds was spacious and luxurious. It was quiet, lovely and warm with heated floors.

We stayed 6 nights and had a fabulous time. Shuttle took us to and from Rusutsu Resort for skiing.

Really nice and relaxing place! We booked a private onsen because we have tattoos. It was perfect to get that privacy and look out into the lake and mountains.

Clean, quiet, with professional service. If you book a room pick also a food potion. Very Day very tasty breakfest like open bar type — you pick what you want to eat. Food was just amazing quality.

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved the experience.

My husband and I stayed three nights, but we didn't want to leave! In the middle of the forest and at the base of Mt. Asahidake (the tallest mountain in Hokkaido), this place is just magical.

It was a most enjoyable experience staying at this hotel! We travelled to Mombetsu and stayed at this hotel from 30 Sep to 3 Oct.

I chose this hotel because it has a natural onsen. The car park is right in front of the entrance. There are 2 laundromats available at B1, where the onsen, gym, and lounge area are located.

Excellent little hotel. I loved it. The Onsen was a highlight and the location is great. So many lovely ammenities like popsicles, coffee and night ramen.

The breakfast here is top tier, there is so much seafood especially the seafood bowl station is fantastic. It has most of the famous Sapporo food such as curry soup, Genghis Khan, and seafood dishes.

Good Hotel very nice room💓

I read another review before we stayed here from an apparent Westerner who said he didn’t feel welcome. But I am a westerner who just stayed here and had a completely 100% positive experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Akan Yuku no Sato Tduruga. Both dinner and breakfast at the main dining buffet were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious food and a very comfortable atmosphere.

We had an exceptional experience at this charming ryokan! The hot spring facilities and sauna were fantastic, providing a perfect way to unwind.

Satisfied with the room with private onsen. The service was great! We didn’t do the dinner meal plan after seeing the reviews and going nearby instead.
Breakfast buffet was underwhelming.

Stayed two nights here and everything is very clean and works beautifully well. The kitchen and lounge area are especially welcoming features for someone who’s been traveling longer than a weekend.

Wonderful place, which is located nearby skiing areas. The hotel looks old, but very clean and properly maintained.

We had a great 7 days stay, rooms were spacious, bathrooms clean and staff very helpful.
The ski hire was easy and a good price.
The locker room never busy.
The onsen was lovely.

Stayed here recently, late January 2026. Anyways, I wanted to book a room with a private rotenburo (open-air bath).

At one glance, the room looks clean. But when open the cabinet and so on, it was very dusty. The room is big though with splitting into sleeping area, living area and bath area.

Rooms were ok but the Onsen oh my goodness 🥹 20 different baths with so many flavours to choose from. Absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. My favourite was the wine bath.

Except the old beds all were more than perfect. Nice dinner buffet and so good external hot spring. Must come back place.

I absolutely loved my experience here! It’s conveniently located near the station, and the breakfast was delicious. There’s also an onsen, which is a great way to relax after a long day.

It’s a nice hotel in Kushiro. The location of the hotel is very close to railway station. At that hotel have public bathroom and relaxation corner also.

Beautiful lodge for ski and snowboarding trips. Massive windows with great Mt. Yotei view, large and modern Kitchen, comfy en-suites.

Momiji Lodge was epic. Super cosy, heaps of space, amazing location and the private transport made everything easy. I didn’t want to leave!

Highly recommend! Our stay at Momiji Lodge was, quite simply, one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The lodge itself is beautifully designed.

Breakfast and diner with fresh ingrediënts made with love every day, beers by the fireplace and within 5 minutes in the skilift! Very cozy interior, clean bathroom with bath and perfect beds.

The beef and pork yakitori with parsley Mayo was better than the $140.00 wagyu steak I had in Kyoto… oh my lord it was the best thing I've ever eaten!

We spent three weeks traveling through Japan, and Niseko Hakuunso was easily our favorite hotel. The hospitality and family-run feel made it special, and the location was perfect for skiing.

Such a lovely hotel and wonderful staff. From start to finish it was the standard Japanese experience — everything done well and promptly.
