Reviews regarding the staff are mixed. Many guests praised the employees for their hospitality, attentiveness, sincere smiles, and assistance with photos during checkout. However, there are serious complaints about the rudeness of some front desk staff; specifically, a "bald employee" was mentioned as being impatient and irritated. Instances of unfriendliness from staff during the payment of the tourist tax were also noted.

The hotel offers breakfast and dinner in a buffet format, as well as the option to order a course meal. Guests praise the quality of local Tokachi products, especially the steaks, seafood (caviar, shrimp), cheese, and soft-serve ice cream. The menu also features dishes made from local potatoes. However, some visitors complained about the limited selection of desserts, cold rice, or curry that was not hot enough. Queues occur during peak hours, and the replenishment of dishes (such as white rice) sometimes fails to keep up with the flow of guests.

Rooms are generally described as clean, spacious, and comfortable, although some guests noted that the building is old and has a "Showa atmosphere." High-class rooms (such as Guiyue or Fūgetsu) feature massage chairs and a wonderful view of the Tokachi River. Capsule coffee machines are installed in the rooms; however, one guest noted a discrepancy between the number of capsule compartments and their actual use. A specific smell of tatami or ammonia was present in some rooms. Amenities include traditional futons and air conditioners, although some guests complained that the rooms were too hot.

Many rooms are ideally located with views of the Tokachi River. Guests note the opportunity to observe Hokkaido's nature, including rare birds (cranes) and foxes, as well as hot air balloons.

Guests highly rate the quality of the "peat" springs (Moor Onsen), noting their amber color, viscosity, and positive effect on the skin. Both indoor and outdoor baths with beautiful views are available. The sauna features a self-loyly function (pouring water on the stones), maintains a high temperature, and has very cold water in the plunge pool, creating ideal conditions for "totonoi" (relaxation). However, some guests complained about insufficient lighting in the sauna and the presence of contaminants or mold in some areas of the outdoor baths.

The hotel is suitable for families with children; a special children's area is provided in the dining hall. During holiday periods, entertainment activities such as bingo and "rock-paper-scissors" contests are held for children. The staff is described as kind and friendly toward children.

The hotel has special rooms for guests with dogs, which are highly rated for their thoughtful design. These rooms provide bowls, mats, pads, toys, and hygiene products. Dog owners have the option to order dinner to the room (bento) so as not to leave their pet alone. Additionally, there are suitable walking areas near the hotel, including Hanak Park and the Tokachigawa Ecological Park.

The hotel features a lounge with an exquisite design, where jazz is played and drinks and snacks (cheeses, ham) are offered. Guests recommend visiting this area, even for an additional fee, for its atmosphere and tranquility. There is also a shop at the hotel selling souvenirs and local products.
