Don’t let the 3-star rating fool you. This is a modern establishment with good onsen facility. It is better than many 4-star international chains.

We booked the forest view twin rooms and were wowed by the suite like rooms with two queen beds and a living room with L shaped sofa and wonderful view of the ocean.

The hotel is definitely one of the nicer ones in Hakodate. Location is very close the Hakodate station and morning market. I saw a king crab with legs the size of my 4 year old's arm.

Rooftop Hot Springs is a fantastic experience! It’s new and clean, offering a real onsen experience. There’s a mini bar right outside that serves ramen, ice cream, and Hokkaido milk.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my family —. Our flight got delayed many times, we got to the hotel very late, the staffs were waiting on us and served us a great meal. Thank you.

The hotel's facilities and environment were good and comfortable. The staff were generally friendly and kind. However, one staff member, who wore glasses, was slightly overweight, and not very tall.

The loveliest onsen manor / hotel accommodations! It looks like the manor of a really rich grand uncle from the 20s.

First time to Hokkaido!
Saw Onuma Tsuruga Resort online and was impressed with it and decided to reserve a room with private onsen.

Room, Breakfast, Staffs were excellent.
Breakfast was a top notch experience.

Villa Concordia Resort & Spa, Hokkaido.
We were at our last stop a tad apprehensive about this property, various things popped up that made me question our choice!

We stayed in the deluxe room; the lake view with the private onsen was worth the extra cost. Very conveniently next to Snowland Akan, with a perfect view of the evening fireworks from our room.

This was my first time staying at a Ryokan and experiencing a lot of traditional Japanese inn culture.

Excellent service. Very accommodating despite my non-existent Japanese and, despite my best intentions, occasional etiquette breaches. The woman who checked me in was very nice.

Stayed here last week during heavy snowfall, and choosing this ryokan turned out to be the perfect decision.
Check-in was detailed and thoughtful.

The room has a lovely view overlooking the open sea and it is renovated with a modern touch.

We were not sure what to expect visiting Kitakobushi Shiretoko. What we found was a well established hotel with lots of amenities (gym, onsen, shop, lounge area, etc) overlooking the harbour.

That environment and the decoration are excellent.
We have decent buffet in Mori restaurant, highly recommend to try the seafood scallop, pizza and the steak from Hokkaido.

It is all about the food!
This Onsen had a modern lobby with some fun features — indoor fire pit, audiophile listening room. What made it stand out was the amazing buffet dinner and breakfast.

During our trip from Hakodate to Furano, we planned a stop at Lake Shikotsu and spent a night at Tsuruga Resort Mizunouta—an absolutely incredible onsen retreat.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We felt a bit foolish as one of only a few foreigners staying here but all of the staff were so patient and kind with our poor Japanese

It's pricey, but worth it. Spacious rooms, delicious dinner and breakfast buffet, with luxe views of the lake.

Staying at Lake View Toya Nonokaze resort is a therapeutic experience.
The counter stayed open for us even though we arrived at 8.30pm due to multiple delays from the weather, train and planes.

The breathtaking seaview while seating in the onset definitely an unforgettable experience. The most valuable is the tranquility of this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time! We chose the room with the swinging chair overlooking the water and the pictures are the same as online. The room is very spacious and clean.

Stayed Jan 2026. Lovely recently renovated rooms, fit out and furniture. Awesome location to lifts. Great hire service with decent gear. Room allocated storage for ski gear.

Room was clean, modern and cozy. Amazing location as you can ski in and out onto the slopes from the hotel. Great service and buffet too. Would highly recommend.

Despite being decades old, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with excellent facilities.

This hotel has received very mixed reviews. After research, we decided to book an upgraded room, and it turned out to be a great choice.

A truly memorable and exceptional stay. The staff were attentive from the moment we arrived until they waved us goodbye at the end of our stay.

Hokuten no Oka Lake resort is a lovely lodge experience in Abashiri. The rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are not. The hotel has a nice onsen area with indoor and outdoor natural hot springs.

I felt comfortable staying at this resort, the view is very beautiful. There are many chairs to relax while enjoying coffee and looking at the ocean.

Rooms were ok but the Onsen oh my goodness 🥹 20 different baths with so many flavours to choose from. Absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. My favourite was the wine bath.

Except the old beds all were more than perfect. Nice dinner buffet and so good external hot spring. Must come back place.

I stayed and skied here recently. Location is perfect! Its basically a ski in ski out resort, and ski rentals locker and dining facilities are all great.

The resort is just outside the beginner's ski area on the West Side of Rusutsu. You need to take the East Gondola to get to the West side with the better and more exciting runs.

I thought this was an old hotel but they have renovated it perfectly. The view is very nice to the lake, the cafe restaurant is very delicious with Japanese menu.

Chose this hotel for our 3 nights stay in lake Akan.

The house was nicely furnished and super cosy. The location is a bit out of the way, but there are chalet shuttle services. Recomended to rent a car for better assessibility.

This place is amazing! Johnny and crew are legends, if we ever come back to Hirafu we will book here!

Customer hospitality is excellent.
Rooms are not well designed. The toilet/shower area is very cramped and the sink is next to the bed. Which means it becomes a little messy and noisy in the morning.

The dinner's awesome. You can never eat anything like this at this price in Tokyo.

We had a great 7 days stay, rooms were spacious, bathrooms clean and staff very helpful.
The ski hire was easy and a good price.
The locker room never busy.

Stayed for 4 nights for skiing at December 2025. The staffs are extremely kind and helpful.

This was our first ski trip to Niseko with our three children. Honestly, we booked this place mainly because it was good value for money, and we didn’t know much about Niseko at the time.

Very happy with our family stay in One Niseko. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for Moiwa station.

What a great little hotel with its own onsen with beautiful views. We had a great comfortable stay here. Futons were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious.

Me and my friends came here just to visit the onsens in the evening. There were plenty of indoor baths to choose from, including one outdoor, which was lovely to use on a cold winter's evening.
