Toyako Hotels

We stayed at Hotel Cocoa in June 2026, and it exceeded our expectations. Considering the price, this hotel deserves 5 stars.

DELUXE VILLA.
My family went to a three day trip in Toya. This property is the best for summer! They have beach access. My kids even walked near the beach. We enjoyed BBQ and karaoke party.

We love the hotel. The staff helped us with our luggage, showed us our room, and demonstrated how things worked.

A truly traditional Japanese experience!

Right in the centre of Lake Toya, this was a 5 minutes walk to the lake for the fireworks. Really clean and spacious for 2 pax. Good value for the price.

Room was big. Check-in was a breeze. Clean, comfortable bed. Can see fireworks. Highly recommend.

We stopped today for a SUP rental. Superb service and scenic view. Definitely made our day. Very recommended. Great for families.

We had an excellent experience renting paddle boards (SUP) and ventured out on the lake. The activity owners / workers were extremely friendly and always went above and beyond to help.

Our stay at The Lake View Toya Nonokaze Resort at Lake Toya was easily one of the highlights of our Hokkaido trip.

This hotel stay was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for exploring the lake and surrounding town on foot, with so much beauty to discover in the area.

Hotel is located 10 mins drive away from the town, so having a car is a must. Staff could speak good English and was very helpful.

Platinum Elite, Owner, Ambassador, Lounge membership here.
The hotel is simply gorgeous, elegant, and has lovely amenities.

Although the hotel is located quite far up on the hilltop, the stay was absolutely worth it.
The car park is conveniently linked to the hotel, but unfortunately, there was no lift — so we had to

We had a wonderful night staying at Kohan No Yado Kojima.

Great stay at Kohan no yado Kojima! The house is right near Lake Tōya—just across the street with a beautiful view of the lake and Nakajima Island.
Mr. Hide is very kind and friendly.

If you are looking for something different from run-of-the-mill hotels, this log cabin might just fit the bill. Quite interesting, clean and nice view of the lake.

Almost all items in dinner were very delicious! Best beef ever!
U can see the lake view from the roomamd bathtub.
But there were some bugs in room.

The place was clean and very close to the lake, the owner greeted us after arrival and even provided snacks. There is a new by restaurant and a convenience store is not too far.

The room was decent and clean. The owner was also very kind and delivered snacks twice during our 5-night stay. It’s a nice option next to the huge hotels nearby.

I stayed here for one night. The house is beautiful with all the amenities. My only complaint is that it is far away from anything.

It's right near the Chuo-dori bus stop. There is a cafeteria on the first floor and accommodation on the second floor. The room is new and clean.

Highly recommended! Very clean and cosy home. Tatami beds are nicely setup for us. It is on the 2nd floor of the restaurant. The owner ladies are very nice.

We’ve stayed here for two nights. The hotel is quite old and needs to be renovated everywhere. However breakfast is fair, though not many selection, you can still find something to eat.

We had a great stay here. Yes the place is kind of old and in need of renovation but it was also clean, comfortable and well located.

Super easy to check in and everything is smooth. It is close to the station. I only recommend to check the schedule of public transportation.

Location is right near Toya station but not to Toyako onsen bus terminal which is within walking distance to the lakefront. Need to take a bus there at Y400. Nothing interesting near Toya station.

Recommended to get the lake view so that you can see the fireworks around 845pm.

Comfortable, furnishings are a bit dated but didn’t affect our experience since we weren’t in most of the time. Opted for mountain view western style room through Agoda booking and was given one.

I checked into this hotel today, was given a room in a smoking area, which makes the room smell bad.

We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights during the winter. It is an older hotel and the rooms definitely could use some renovations. I hope they never change the style though.

Unique traditional hotel room. Tatami was set up for us when we were outside. Toilet had a smell of cigarettes. They had 5 extra pillows in the cabinet. Enough space for 3.2 table provided.

Had an amazing stay at Toyako Onsen Hokkai Hotel.
Very authentic traditional Japanese style with a beautiful view of Lake Toya. Perfect for couples and families.

Great atmosphere, simple but full function onsen, friendly helpful services and great dining set. Just 10 min walk from center of Toyako city.

I stayed here with a few friends, four of us to one room in a 4 futon slumber party-style, and we had a blast.

Traditional Japanese ryokan with a twist, dogs welcome.
The hotel has a choice of Japanese and Western rooms as well as an onsen. There are a range of meal plans and an all you can drink bar.

This old hotel is conveniently located, with a bus stop right across the main entrance. Within a 3-minute walk, there are convenience stores and a lakeside promenade along Lake Toya.
