Super easy to check in and everything is smooth. It is close to the station. I only recommend to check the schedule of public transportation.

Location is right near Toya station but not to Toyako onsen bus terminal which is within walking distance to the lakefront. Need to take a bus there at Y400. Nothing interesting near Toya station.

I had a nice stay at The Toya. The dormitory are nice, just 4 persons. It's located near the center and the lake. The bathroom are really comfortable and there is a sauna!

A nice budget stay with good value for money.
It’s a restaurant downstairs, and the staff are very kind, they even helped us cut a melon and served it beautifully.

Great atmosphere, simple but full function onsen, friendly helpful services and great dining set. Just 10 min walk from center of Toyako city.

We had a wonderful night staying at Kohan No Yado Kojima.

Great stay at Kohan no yado Kojima! The house is right near Lake Tōya—just across the street with a beautiful view of the lake and Nakajima Island.

Right in the centre of Lake Toya, this was a 5 minutes walk to the lake for the fireworks. Really clean and spacious for 2 pax. Good value for the price.

Room was big. Check-in was a breeze. Clean, comfortable bed. Can see fireworks. Highly recommend.

This old hotel is conveniently located, with a bus stop right across the main entrance. Within a 3-minute walk, there are convenience stores and a lakeside promenade along Lake Toya.

We’ve stayed here for two nights. The hotel is quite old and needs to be renovated everywhere. However breakfast is fair, though not many selection, you can still find something to eat.

We had a great stay here. Yes the place is kind of old and in need of renovation but it was also clean, comfortable and well located.

The hotel has a choice of Japanese and Western rooms as well as an onsen. There are a range of meal plans and an all you can drink bar.

Stay 6different hotel on this trip this hotel have the staff with the best service, especially the front staff and restaurant staff too.

It's pricey, but worth it. Spacious rooms, delicious dinner and breakfast buffet, with luxe views of the lake.

Staying at Lake View Toya Nonokaze resort is a therapeutic experience.
The counter stayed open for us even though we arrived at 8.30pm due to multiple delays from the weather, train and planes.

It's right near the Chuo-dori bus stop. There is a cafeteria on the first floor and accommodation on the second floor. The room is new and clean.

Highly recommended! Very clean and cosy home. Tatami beds are nicely setup for us. It is on the 2nd floor of the restaurant. The owner ladies are very nice.

I checked into this hotel today, was given a room in a smoking area, which makes the room smell bad.

The hotel has upper onsen on the 8th floor and a lower onsen in the basement.
Rooms are modern and a good size.

The place was clean and very close to the lake, the owner greeted us after arrival and even provided snacks. There is a new by restaurant and a convenience store is not too far.

The room was decent and clean. The owner was also very kind and delivered snacks twice during our 5-night stay. It’s a nice option next to the huge hotels nearby.

Just stayed here for two nights as a couple traveling on a budget (I speak decent Japanese).

Unique traditional hotel room. Tatami was set up for us when we were outside. Toilet had a smell of cigarettes. They had 5 extra pillows in the cabinet. Enough space for 3.2 table provided.

The Onsen bath area having an amazing view facing the lake. Room is standard Japanese style. The vibe is like the 90’s Japanese onsen hotel.

We had great stay in this beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and beautiful, with a private Onsen in room. Breakfast was so delicate and tasteful, the staff was attentive and professional.

My recent stay at The Lake Suite Ko no Sumika in Hokkaido was absolutely phenomenal and completely exceeded all my expectations.

Lakeside onsen hotel.
The hotel looks a little tatty on the outside but don't let this put you off. The lobby is beautiful, well appointed and smells amazing.

Nice family run smaller accommodation option in Lake Toya. The rooms were older but very well kept and clean. Mostly comfortable beds (one had some rogue springs) and quiet rooms.

Even though Room is not new, you still have everything you need at such freezing winter. Room space is large enough for single/ couple. 24 hours Onsen is wonderful experience.

Our stay was relaxing and right off the main road before reaching Toyako. The cabin was very nice and a good size. The food was excellent and the owner very accommodating.
