Great hostel. The staff pointed me out to nearby Jozankei for a day trip. Wonderful place for day trip. There's also a nearby bakery that sells delicious daily baked goods. Yum.

I travelled to japan by myself for the first time, I was very nervous for hthe commute around as im not from a city originally.

All in all a perfect accomodation! Event tho it's a capsule like hostel, you have plenty space and can even bring your belongings into your bedroom.

Had needed urgently inn to stay, fortunately find this hostel. The interior was neat and the location was near Tanukikoji shopping centre. One of the best place for backpacker, thou.

Location — a little far from the center, although a nice area to walk around. Large supermarket is within walking distance (go there in the evening for discounts).

Clean and welcoming. I had single room as a solo traveller and it was incredibly good value. Right next to the subway so it takes less than 10 min to get to downtown. The place was really clean.

We came from SEA and during winter, and booked through their official website, which is significantly cheaper than the typical travel apps.

Great hostel only a 10 minute walk from the Susukino intersection.
The reception is on the third floor, along with a lounge, dining area, kitchen and toilets.

My wife and I are on a tandem bicycle tour and made a reservation for this place on very short notice (1 hour) when some strong winds picked up. We didn’t have a ton of time to do road-side research,

Very nice accommodation in the middle of woods with comfy cabins.
The cabin is big enough with very good heating. Bathrooms are in the main building, clean and modern.

We stayed in a room with a queen bed as a couple.
The bed practically took over the entire room.

So many good things to say. When arriving at the building at looking at the facade. You think you should not have booked there.

10/10 recommend best place ive stayed in hole of Japan, super clean, place is very homie and cozy, everyone is so welcoming and friendly at the hostel, owner is also such a legend!

Quite solid place and service! Slept at here for 1 night before going to the CTS airport the next morning. The shower is good with strong water pressure and shampoo conditioner body wash etc.

I stayed at this guesthouse for three nights and had a wonderful time!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is really cosy, comfortable, clean and there are extra blankets if you’re cold.

Good for the price. Staff us polite and they have every service available required. Hell valley is pretty close and the hostel itself is just 2-3 mins walk from the train station.

Will definitely be returning. Super accommodating for skiers and snowboarders as the bus picks up right outside the front door. The staff is very helpful and kind as well.

I didn’t stay here, but I experienced exceptional kindness from Mr. Lin — he earns my 5⭐ all by himself.

Awesome beds and lounges, they even have a bouldering wall! Staff is friendly and its a great place to rest your bones after a long few days in Daisetsuzan!

Great place to stay in Sapporo. It's in a calm neighbourhood, but you can reach the city centre quickly by taking the tram, which is only a 5-minute walk away.

I loved this place, perfectly clean, the share space is quite big and comfortable. The lady when we arrived was very welcoming, she took the Time to show and explain everything : thank you very much!

Great place to stay for skiing Teine resort and other resorts. My only complaint is the dorm style room you sleep in, is 80+ degrees. They do not turn the heat down and do not let you open a window.

This is the best hostel I have stayed at during my one-month ski trip in Hokkaido. The bed cabin are very spacious and have a lot of storage space.

Finding this place was easy. The entrance to the hostel is up some steep stairs, and the checkin is actually on the 1st floor/bar/cafe area.

Really good Hostel run by passionate people. This is a place made for backpackers and other people who like it simple. Super cheap and still has all the amenities you might need (great bidet toilets).

I spent 3 nights in Female Dorm. I like my F11 bed (bottom) that facing the window. There was space to put my luggage between bed & window. I feel like I have my private area.

I liked the hostel and would stay there again. The common areas are very nice and geared towards the solo traveler who doesn’t mind running into other spirited adventurers.

I book the double bed room. The price is reasonable, the room is fit for one or two persons.
The staff is nice. The location is near nijo market, but a bit far from other transportation.

The hostel is located strategically, right in front of Nijo market, the morning fish market. There are also several food options nearby.

This is the best backpacker hostel I have ever been so far. Simply put, it feels like behind at home rather than in a hostel. I just loved that place! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Fun and different accomodation in the heart of otaru. Short distance to the tourist strips and canals while being in a quite street with easy parking next door.

Just here to grab a beer, and it was a very cozy establishment, good vibes, and good beer! They have a selection on tap, and some cans and bottles in a fridge.

Beautiful place in the countryside of Kiyosato town. The owner and his wife are really nice people, they bring you to the onsen and to the restaurant if you want.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were so welcoming and friendly.

Superbly maintained villas with a comfy tatami setup. The facility is also located in the middle of beautiful nature and is a stone’s throw away from Blue Pond and the Shirogane waterfall.

Hostel Excellent staff bloke and stuff in the bunk, the mattress is too thin on your side. Only one loo on level 2 and one shower per gender, but no queue. Room 205b. Decent guests.

From May 9 to 12, 2025! The two Korean girls were so rude and unreasonable!
I had to stay with two Korean girls, they were rude and noisy when I went to sleep.

We stayed in Mashyuko Youth hostel during our recent trip to Hokkaido in June 2025. As a family of 4 with 2 kids, this place is a good stay for a night or two.

These guys rock. They went out of their way to help us out, stored our bikes and had local tips. They made us feel so welcome.

Going to the guest house you have to climb up the slope road all the way up unless you have a car then thats easy.
The view in the morning and night is wonderful.
Room is quite big and spacious.

I got to stay here shortly after it re-opened post a 3 year shut down.
