Fun and different accomodation in the heart of otaru. Short distance to the tourist strips and canals while being in a quite street with easy parking next door.

Just here to grab a beer, and it was a very cozy establishment, good vibes, and good beer! They have a selection on tap, and some cans and bottles in a fridge.

We stayed in Mashyuko Youth hostel during our recent trip to Hokkaido in June 2025. As a family of 4 with 2 kids, this place is a good stay for a night or two.

These guys rock. They went out of their way to help us out, stored our bikes and had local tips. They made us feel so welcome.

Going to the guest house you have to climb up the slope road all the way up unless you have a car then thats easy.
The view in the morning and night is wonderful.
Room is quite big and spacious.

I got to stay here shortly after it re-opened post a 3 year shut down.

Beautiful place in the countryside of Kiyosato town. The owner and his wife are really nice people, they bring you to the onsen and to the restaurant if you want.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were so welcoming and friendly.

Just an awesome lodge with great vibes, helpful staff, cozy rooms. Moiwa has some of the best terrain in the area and close access to touring spots makes this the perfect home base.

A+…great vibes in the lodge. Traveling solo this was the perfect spot to stay. Everyone is friendly and really enjoyed the conversation. Food option on site for breakfast and dinner!

I had a wonderful stay here! The owner is incredibly sweet, cute, friendly, and super helpful—she even speaks fluent English, which made communication so easy.

Sappolodge is a small hostel in Sapporo near the Susukino area. Everything is within walking distance so it's very convenient if you're staying here.
Your bed/pod has a lot of space.

I rented a touring ski package from them, including Ski’s boots, Beacon, probe, shovel and everything was amazing. This place is a hidden gem.

I had a pleasant 4-night stay at this guesthouse! If I ever return to Asahikawa, I will definitely stay there again!

Very quiet yet convenient location. A bus stop and convenience store in front. A clinic nearby. Unobstructed view of mt. Yotei. Rooms have heater and our booking is breakfast inclusive.

Rooms were great, 30min walk to hirafu but buses run regularly. Free breakfast was good and easy. Restaurant inside was great ended up eating there more then hirafu.

Excellent hostel within walking distance of the ski area. It is a bit of an uphill hike to the ski area, but at about 200m it is within reason.

Nice place. Clean. A little way out of town if you're staying in summer but ideal for winter access to the slopes. Common area is a little on the small side. Dorm beds were big and comfortable. 👍

This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying here to experience an authentic Japanese home-stay vibe. The house is idyllic and impeccably clean.

This hostel is not just an inn, but someone’s house and you can feel the difference. The owners are incredibly nice and make delicious food.

Great kitchen facility, beds are comfortable and private, as everyone has their own capsule.

We stayed over for multiple nights, in different periods during our Hokkaido trip.

We chose Lake Shikotsu for our last location before heading to New Chitose airport the next day. This hotel is a hidden gem and very roomy.

We stayed early June. The service was incredible; the single staff member we interacted with during our stay was very helpful and attentive.

Cozy inn deep in nature. Friendly staff, pick up service, and good food. I stayed here to enjoy a peaceful retreat and walk to Kussharo Lake’s outdoor hot springs.

The rooms are a bit old, but the beds are comfy. The walls are very thin, which can be a problem at night or at dawn when tours start. There is a shared bathroom with a onsen.

One of the nicest stays I’ve had anywhere.
Mami & Oka are amazing hosts. Their family, animals, and neighbors are sooo fantastic. And the vibe is good here.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at LDK Hostel Odori. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, and the location is ideal—only a 10minutes from Susukino Station.

4 stars. I don't know why this one costs more than the other. The other one is better. Staff are great here, but the facilities are not. There was a stench on many of the floors.

Walking distance to the Annupuri ski lifts, rooms are clean and spacious. Perfect for a ski trip!

My first hostel experience.
It was really nice, a wooden ambiance and fragrant sheets really heals your soul after a long day of hiking.
The other customers were really quiet.

I really enjoyed this place. It’s in a very quiet area with ease of access into the city! The staff was really friendly and helped us out when we didn’t know what to do haha!
