Great hostel, I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and it feels like staying at someone's home and not really a guesthouse.

The location is good. 9 mins walk from JR train station and 10 mins walk to Otaru Canal. The hostel was clean, but you need to put on bedsheets provided by the hotel.

Stylishly outfitted and very clean. The showers had strong water pressure and all amenities provided made for a seamless two night stay. The staff and other guests alike were quite friendly.

Grids is located in a superb location in Sapporo — ample shopping and restaurants and bars nearby, easy walking distance to the train station and a bus stop that takes you directly to New Chitose

If you want to stay privately you can choose Japanese style room type. It has more space with private bathroom.
Some room type is on 8th floor which need to take the stair from 7th floor.

I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and spoke English well, which made communication really easy. Check-in was quick and smooth, no hassle at all.

Sappolodge is a small hostel in Sapporo near the Susukino area. Everything is within walking distance so it's very convenient if you're staying here.
Your bed/pod has a lot of space.

Love the warm welcome by the host. We messaged them to inform that we would be checking in past 9pm because we were coming from Otaru, and asked if it was fine.

Fantastic overnight place to stay! The owner, Michi was so nice and welcoming and the place is very modern and clean.

We stayed at the hostel for 4 nights to ski/snowboard around Otaru and we had an amazing experience here.

This hostel was so much fun, very social and had the best location in the village for ski access.
Definitely get what you pay for.

The staff were incredibly helpful and brought such great vibes. They helped me rent my snowboarding gear and shared useful tips about Hirafu and the slopes.

Good hotel. The capsules are bigger than usual and there are separate toilets and shower rooms. There are also living rooms and kitchen areas on the 3rd and 10th floor.

We came from SEA and during winter, and booked through their official website, which is significantly cheaper than the typical travel apps.

It seems this hotel was renovated from an older property into a business hotel.
I stayed in a business-type room: one bed, and enough space to open a suitcase while still having room to walk around.

Came in off the street at 9pm, staff was friendly and set me up with a Japanese style room. The room was clean and most of the furnishings were in great condition.

Although the room is small, it is clean and fully equipped with appliances and other furniture.
For the price of a bed, you get a room, which is great.

The room was spacious and well equipped, just be aware there is no AC so it stays very hot in the summertime.

Nice basic place to stay. Very close to the wharf and not too far from the train station. The receptionist was very nice and very patient even to people who doesn't speak Japanese 🫶🏻
