Lovely cave room in Matera, window had the famous view of the other side of the city. Room had everything, breakfast was amazing anything on the menu with gorgeous views over the city.

We were there for 2 nights with a group touring Matera. It is a newish, modern hotel in an industrial park outside Matera. There was a nice touch of the mosaic art.
This hotel is new with amazing mosaics decorations like painting, etc. I love the room and the bathroom's is refreshing with unique mosaics design.
Just outside the centre of Matera, this small B&B (1 room) is an excellent point to visit the Sassi and Matera by foot. The room is great with a large bathroom and a large outside area.

We have been at Italy on june and july 2025 to celelebrate my 80 husband's birthday. We went with all the family and the birth day we where at Mattera and we had a reservation at Masseria Santa Lucia.
What a hidden gem! When we first drove up to Masseria Santa Lucia, we thought the map had to be wrong, an industrial area seemed like an unlikely setting for a masseria.
This was our second stay at the Masseria Fontana di Vite and it was a marvellous experience yet again.
Very nice but can be a bit improved. We told the staff on our first day that the windows shutter was broken and very difficult to manipulate. No one has been sent to repair it during our stay.
Absolutely beautiful. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Grounds are such a lovely setting. Pool is very classy and fantastic views. Restaurant food was amazing.

Nice little B&B run by a lovely couple. Large clean rooms, parking right across the road. Nice breakfast and only a 10 minute walk to the old part of Matera.
It is a private host. Very convenient for visiting Matera, very kind host. Clean room and more than abundant breakfast, if we happen to return to Matera we will certainly go there.
Staying at La Casa Dei Sogni was one of the best living experiences I have ever had, if not the best ever.
A fabulous B&B with everything you needed. It was hot whilst here and the aircon worked fantastic for the hot nights. The room was spotlessly clean with a good fridge for cold drinks.
The location is excellent being only about a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the old city and less than 10 minute walk to multiple great restaurants, some being much less than that.
It was a very nice stay at the In & Out B&B in Matera. Cosy and very clean room, delicious breakfast and Mariella is a perfect host. It is very convenient to get to the Old Town of Matera from there.

A beautiful unique hotel situated in a picturesque hillside in a historic village. If you stay here be prepared to walk on cobblestones up and down the hillside.
