My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in this beautiful b&b. Highly recommended both for its impeccable cleanliness and for the family atmosphere you can breathe.

The property is very well tastefully furnished. The welcome was special, pampering us for the entire time of our stay. The rooms are all spacious, very well kept and clean.

To describe it in one word… Magical! The view from the balcony and the beauty of hearing the sounds coming from the conservatory of music from across the street it’s to die for.

Fantastic room and ensuite with balcony overlooking the incompatible Sassi di Matera, one of the oldest human cities known. Fantastic host who was very helpful.

Casa Contini exceeded all of our expectations! Nestled in the historic center of Matera, the location couldn’t have been better.

The apartments are very clean and comfortable. Upon entering you really have a feeling of freshness and hygiene.

I don't have much to say: I can only give five stars to the apartment, hospitality, availability and cleanliness. Also noteworthy is the breakfast, which was more abundant than it should have been.

The host is very helpful and friendly, he pick us up from the Matera Sud station, and offer us with his mom's homemade pie which is so delicious!

Last minute escape to Matera for 2-3 days. In a few words:

We were extremely satisfied with everything. The instructions were all clear how to get in to the house. Everything was very clean, plus the design of the house is very lovely.

Just stayed one night in Corte San Leonardo, amazing cave hotel that my family loved, it’s spacious, well equipped and wonderful location, with great view and easy access to everything in the town.

Excellent structure in a strategic position overlooking the stones, very large room, clean and fragrant and equipped with water, coffee and tea. Excellent breakfast, in agreement with a nearby bar.

The rooms were spacious enough for the three of us (a mother with a baby in one and me in the other). It was very clean and neat. They cleaned and changed towels everyday.

Piazza Mulino 26 is in a very good location especially when you just have a few days in Matera. It is close by most the essentials: the Sassi is just some meters away, good restaurants, and cafes.

Family-run B&B… everyone is very nice, friendly and available to give all the information they can. The terrace is very beautiful where, wind permitting, you can have breakfast overlooking the stones.
