Casa Diva was an amazing find! The property is stunning, with so much attention to detail in both the design and atmosphere. What truly stood out, though, was the warm and personalized service. Eleonora made our check-in smooth and stress-free, and her recommendations were spot-on! they really helped us make the most of our time in the area. Caterina greeted us each morning at breakfast with such kindness and energy, setting the tone for a great day. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
We loved our stay at Casa Diva, the place is truly beautiful. But what made our experience even more special was the outstanding hospitality. Eleonora was incredibly helpful during check-in and gave us excellent recommendations that really enhanced our visit. Tucked into the heart of Sassi Caveoso in Matera's ancient old city, this hidden gem has a fantastic location with breathtaking views over the historic rooftops. Eleanor gave us a warm welcome and was just a message away whenever we needed anything. She was fantastic! Check-in instructions were clear and straightforward. Nearby parking just a few minutes' walk away.
Breakfast was decent. Our "Artiste" room was simply stunning-Waking up to views of the old town bathed in sunrise light was unforgettable. One word of caution though: the artist room is a loft conversion with a low ceiling and a number of steps, so it's best suited to the more agile traveller. Anyone with mobility considerations may want to request an alternative.
