What a hidden gem! When we first drove up to Masseria Santa Lucia, we thought the map had to be wrong, an industrial area seemed like an unlikely setting for a masseria.

Located in Matera Nuova, it is a 10-minute walk from the Sassi. We stayed here for the Immaculate Conception weekend, we miraculously found it after searching a lot. And what a lovely surprise!

We stayed two nights at the suite with whirlpool of the hotel caveoso, crazy location, a real cave furnished in a minimal modern style.
