Just outside the centre of Matera, this small B&B (1 room) is an excellent point to visit the Sassi and Matera by foot. The room is great with a large bathroom and a large outside area.

Excellent location a few meters from the entrance to the Sassi and the center of Matera. Well-serviced area with shops and clubs within walking distance without ever taking the car.

Wonderful stay in this wonderful little house. Casa Du Mattneer is fantastic. We've been there for 4 years and now we're back.

What a hidden gem! When we first drove up to Masseria Santa Lucia, we thought the map had to be wrong, an industrial area seemed like an unlikely setting for a masseria.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was really outstanding. The breakfast was very good and Rocco is a great host.
For breakfast there were delicious cakes from Alessia.

The hostel is in the heart of the historical part of Matera, so everything is reachable witihn short time (except for big discount grocery stores).

Fantastic location, great staff and very reasonable price!
It was quiet, clean and chilly in the dorm even when it was 30°C outside. No bedbug, the problem is gone.
