My husband and I had an amazing stay at Amor Arenal! The property is incredibly gorgeous, and each casita is private and beautifully landscaped.

We spent the first half of our honeymoon at this resort. First — the staff and service was second to none. They did an amazing job setting our room up for our honeymoon.

Nayara Springs was one of the most special resort experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unbelievably kind, thoughtful, and attentive.

Truly amazing resort in the Arenal area of Costa Rica. Can not recommend it enough. Rooms were exquisite, with volcano heated plunge pool on the porch.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we wanted to make the most of just the rainforest ecosystem since we've done so many great beaches around the world.

Do not let the “2 star” level of amenities fool you — this is a 4 if not 5 star resort!

The Hideway is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds, helpful staff, good food (with more than just one restaurant for dinner), in a gorgeous setting.

All the other reviews are true. This is one of the best properties you can stay at. If you’re coming to La fortuna no need to keep searching, book this place.

The chaos of the city but the grounds are just magical.

Okay so we stayed here during uncommonly wet weather which under normal circumstances would kill any holiday but… it was still simply perfect.

We just returned from our trip to Costa Rica yesterday. We spent the first half of our trip at Arenal Manoa and it was amazing.
We had two adjacent suites.

Ok. I made a post about the Waldorf Astoria this hotel is not a Waldorf but it is an outstanding hotel at this incredible price point. The service was excellent just great helpful staff.

We could not be more delighted with our experience here. Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay.

Truly a special place! Highly recommend, both for families with kids or couples. I spent a lot of time struggling to decide, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel.
We had a cabin with three beds.

I had a really pleasant stay here and would absolutely come back. The room was clean and well-maintained. Both the bedroom and bathroom looked recently renovated.

This was a well-located property close to the center but situated in a quiet garden and with security gates for safety.

It's not a four star experience, so don't expect that and if you want all inclusive this is not the place for you.

I stayed at this hotel a couple years ago and still remember it fondly! The beautiful grounds in particular are the best part — the pool, the gardens, and the views!

We had a terrific visit at the Tilajari Hotel & Resort. We stayed for three days and enjoyed the beautifully manicured grounds. The hotel pool and ho tub were amazing.

Excellent resort with staff, particularly Harvey, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Accommodations were very comfortable — spacious and extremely clean.

Spent two nights and well worth the winding adventure to get there from San Jose. The boat ride to the lodge was a nice touch.

Undoubtedly the nicest stay we have ever had. The location is favorable, the individual cabins are beautiful and well kept with amazing greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere.

This was a wonderful hotel. The view is amazing. The service was so good, from the front desk staff, to the bellboys, the spa staff and the servers. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place to stay.

This hotel was above what we expected. Even though our room didn't have a microwave and a refrigerator, the accommodations were very nice. The entire facility is clean and well maintained.

Hotel is clean and very close by the airport with a free shuttle service running every 20 minutes. There is a Dennys, Casino and Car Rental place in the same plaza.

I am SO grateful to the staff at this hotel. I had fractured both my wrists at the airport and spent the day in the ER. Boy did I choose the right hotel!

Xandari’s grounds are sooo beautiful. The hiking trails are very nice and I loved the waterfalls as well. I saw many workers attending the property and they kept it very clean.

We spent two nights and three days at this resort before driving to La Fortuna. The facilities were very clean, and the grounds were beautifully maintained.

This place has a lovely garden and pool. It's family-owned and operated. It is run with care.

This place is a great affordable place, close to downtown La Fortuna. The grounds and pool were well manicured. They have hiking trails and they have a bird feeding watching station at breakfast.

My trip to La Fortuna, Costa Rica was totally unplanned. I booked everything last minute and didn’t do any research. I just loved how aesthetic the hotel looked and the volcano view.

Be careful when booking on third party websites like Priceline because they show all the rooms with a private hot tub and they all do not have one.

A warm and friendly welcome at the Vilma and throughout our 6 days here all the staff have been friendly and helpful.

Villas Vilma was fantastic! The pool and hot tub were delightful and clean. The rooms are perfectly situated spotless with so many amenities. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

This is the coolest hotel! Our room was so beautiful and decor matched perfectly to the middle of the rainforest where this hotel is located! We loved the outdoor shower!

I definitely would highly recommend the Lost iguana to anyone that asked me. Staff are amazing, you want for nothing, they're truly here for everything that you need.

We spent 2 nights at Natural Lodge which really wasn't long enough. The access road was truly awful so we needed longer to enjoy what Cano Negro has to offer but we did what we could in the time.

Our stay was an absolute delight, only wish it had lasted longer. We were in a nicely decorated room, plenty of hot water and towels. Everything was spic and span and it was a quick walk to reception.

My husband and I stayed at Villa San Ignacio, Hotel and Restaurant our first days of our month long Birding trip to Costa Rica.

What a fantastic place! We will definitely return here if we go back to CR, it's a great landing zone for arrival/departures and the airport is not too far away either. The breakfast is so good.

Exterior is unassuming with a secured basic parking lot.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Hotel 1915, just one night before a very early flight out. Check-in and — out, and parking was really easy and it was very convenient to rental cars etc.

Super accommodating and convenient hotel in La Fortuna!

First the positives: the location is great… short walk to restaurants and shops but quiet and away from the crowds. Bird watching is fantastic on the property… saw toucans and many other bird species.
