I don’t even know where to begin, I did the 7-day yoga retreat and all I want to say is that I got the answers I needed and more for this period in my life.

I am deeply grateful for the care, community and warmth I have received from Niko, Geido and the whole team. I felt part of their community and enjoyed all they offered.

We spent two nights at the Posada Rural Rio Celeste to see the Nationalpark. It’s only 6 km away from the entrance, thus we could be there early in the morning, which is definitely recommended.

It is a lovely small hotel consisting of several individually located rooms with a full bathroom. The grounds are gorgeous, with orchids hanging off of most trees.

This is an excellent choice to stay on your way to Poas Volcano or La Paz Waterfall and Gardens.

Dinner and included breakfast has delicious vegan options. Rooms are a good value in a beautiful area. There was also a friendly cat 😻

Amazing hosts, beautiful lodging and outstanding porch for eating and relaxing. Friendly cat (Camilla) and little dog (Bobby). Traveling with my wife and two teens.

OMG, the pictures are not good enough to give you a real idea of this paradise. I fell in love with the house, the garden and the owners.

This hotel is great! The service is top-notch and the food is wonderful. The rooms are of a true Costa Rican home that includes Wi-Fi, 3 beds, showers, and bathrooms.

Close to the national park, easy to beat the rush in the morning. Best part was bird watching from the breakfast area.

What a wonderful place to stay and to relax. A 150 years old Villa with a dream of a Park surrounding it. Gentle and very nice Host Family with 3 lovley dogs. Thanks so much for the wonderful time.

My stay here at Alpha Arenal was everything it needed to be. I made friends with other guests, cooked food together, hung out and did a few epic tours.

I had an amazing stay at Alpha Arenal! The atmosphere was super welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect to explore La Fortuna and the volcano area.

Such a hidden gem. This place was amazing. I loved the birdhouse cabin we stayed in. Nice cool breeze all night. In a secure place with cameras and the host is wonderful.

This is perfect for a first or last night for the airport. I always use it and get the owner to do the transfer. I feel very safe here after a tiring flight.

Great place to stay very close to the San José CR airport. It's extremely nice to find comfortable, clean accommodations with a very friendly staff that are not part of a chain.

A good, clean place to spend the night when arriving at SJO. Also has a nice kitchen, except the pans need an update. Rooms are clean and simple.

I have stayed at innumerable hostels in at least 15-20 countries and have never had such a great experience. This hostel was unbelievably clean… the employees just didn't stop!

Hostel was clean and well maintained. I booked a private room with shared bathroom and wasnprovided with towels as well as free cleaning services.

Good location, close to the centre, clean and well equipped room. The room that has balcony shares the balcony with another apartment. Bit noisy at night because of the cars.

We stayed there for one night and it was amazing.

Everything is great here! A supermarket just two minutes walk. The staff are super friendly and supportive, especially George! He shares a lot of information about the tours.

Despite the bumpy road to get to the accommodation, it was paradise when we arrived. Very secluded but only 15-20min to get to a restaurant.

Good rooms with a privacy curtain and a shared closet. It seems this hostel is in a gated neighborhood and nearby to the airport which is nice.

Wonderful location, not too far from downtown La Fortuna (about 10 min) but it’s far enough from the noise and traffic. Our family stayed for 3 nights and felt completely safe.

Ideal for my stay. I arrived at 6pm after a long haul flight and needed to leave at 3am for another flight. Easy for the taxi to drop me off and the owner arranged for a transfer for me early morning.

This place it's super safe. It's best spot for your arrivals and departures. Rooms are clean and compound has beutifull garden with kitchen and all you need.

First Solo trip and first hostel stay. I stayed in one of the pods (private), everything was great other than the very little room for storage.

I’ve stayed in a few hostels & this one is great! As apart of a G adventures group we got to stay in the new wing. Great rooms and great showers with lockers (you’ll need a padlock) …nice pool.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Arenal by Regina.

We stayed here for two nights. The view of the volcano is truly beautiful and a major plus. We had a renovated room, but unfortunately it smelled strongly of dampness.

The place is just like a Rainforest in the middle of la Fortuna with hummingbirds flying around the gardens.

Great hotel with a fantastic atmosphere! Everything was clean and comfortable.

Nice hostel, helpfuls emlloyes, gave me many tipps where to go, what to do, how to avoid being scammed or to pay too much.

They sell a three day unlimited shuttle pass with access to many different points of interest including El Castillo and Lake Arenal. I highly recommend purchasing one, at just $20 it's worth it.

Excellent location if you want to be close to bus stations and enjoy the town convinient in a walking distance.

The food at the restaurant is the best I had in Costa Rica. Great flavors. Eat there!

Hostel is nice — Franny at the bar and Jorge are amazing! Cute common area and daily happy hour. They don’t host events or anything so have to put yourself out there if you want to be social.

Loved it! Best location. In the heart of the city. The sloth park is 3 mins drive. Shuttles available for everywhere. Staff is amazing! Especially Frannie and George.

Excellent place to pass your vacations, if I travel again to CR, I'd like to book here again.

I saw some comments indicating that the place was small, however I checked before booking and they told me that the place was remodeled and expanded, and is true.
