Location is very convenient for stay in La Fortuna. Kitchen is spacious and good social area. Volunteers were helpful and kept the place tidy.

Excellent location near everything. Staff were great. I think this is one of the most practical hostels in Costa rica. Coffee, towel, oil in kitchen salt spices. HOT water.

An absolutely amazing hostel. The time I was able to spend here was filled with great tours that could be arranged at the reception every day.

Highlights of my stay: the breakfast and coffee was delicious and of great quantity!

Overall this was a great place for our family of 5 to stay 12 hours before we left for the airport.

I stayed at Airport Travelers Home for one night after a 7-hour journey from Santa Teresa, as my flight was the next day, and it was exactly what I needed.

I have stayed at innumerable hostels in at least 15-20 countries and have never had such a great experience. This hostel was unbelievably clean… the employees just didn't stop!

Hostel was clean and well maintained. I booked a private room with shared bathroom and wasnprovided with towels as well as free cleaning services.

Everything is great here! A supermarket just two minutes walk. The staff are super friendly and supportive, especially George! He shares a lot of information about the tours.

I had an amazing stay here. The location was perfect and we meet lots of great people.

No TV in room unless you pay a good up charge but the rooms are good and clean. All have air conditioning.

Toucan Hostel was an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in with our dog, the staff made us feel so welcome and turned what could have been a tricky trip into a really enjoyable stay.

Nice hostel, helpfuls emlloyes, gave me many tipps where to go, what to do, how to avoid being scammed or to pay too much.

They sell a three day unlimited shuttle pass with access to many different points of interest including El Castillo and Lake Arenal. I highly recommend purchasing one, at just $20 it's worth it.

Excellent location if you want to be close to bus stations and enjoy the town convinient in a walking distance.

The food at the restaurant is the best I had in Costa Rica. Great flavors. Eat there!

I honestly can’t believe how lucky I was to find this place. From the moment I arrived, Asha Hostel felt like a home away from home.

To be honest… super close to the airport is really great! They pick you up and drop you off at the airport as well. I couldn't have asked better. It s clean. Internet works. It s a great place.

If you're looking for an expensive, shiny, tourist-oriented hotel with amenities you don't need, you may want to look elsewhere.

Love this hostel! The location is great, and the owner is very friendly. The common space is really cool and unique with beautiful murals everywhere and tons of funs games.

Nice Place Hostel is a really good spot in La Fortuna. It's easy to walk to everything you need, but quiet enough to get some sleep.
The common areas are nice, and the kitchen is clean for cooking.

The lady that hosts the hostel is super nice. She gave me wonderful advise about what to see around La Fortuna.

We stayed only for one night. Even though we came after midnight, Laura was nice and friendly.

Single female traveler. I was in the 4 bed bunk room and the mattress & pillows were very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean & all pure white bedding! Plenty of bathrooms.

Good value hostel with helpful staff. Everything was clean and the AC in the rooms are very comforting — only the sink in our dorm room was leaking.

The most amazing thing is the staff, always helpful and quick to solve any problem.
The hostel is 10 minutes walk away from the "center" of la fortuna, but supermarkets are very close.

We wanted something central, budget friendly and private. This location is amazing, the owner is a gem, very helpful (Marvin even drove us to the airport so we could enjoy a more leisurely stay).

I stayed in a shared dorm room for a few nights. This place was great for the price you pay; very centralized in La Fortuna, and right across from the park which is a great place to relax.
