Pleasant hotel with views on the Arenal volcano, organized in scattered adjoining rooms. Pool with bar feet in the water! Kitchen correct but little do better.

Friendly, comfortable, and clean. Very good stay. The grounds are nice and there are plenty of birds and lizards when walking around. The pool areas are nice but could get crowded in high season (we stayed at the lowest season and they're still heavily used). The hot spring pool is a nice amenity. The rooms are generous and have good views. The sound proofing between runs is a bit lacking. It never caused us a problem though. There are only two rooms in each building so it's a good layout.

Very nice place, perfect to rest, the restaurant is good but could be better if you will not use both ajó in the meals. It would also be nice to leave the pool of cold water open during the night as for those who do not like the thermal water would be a perfect option. Outside of that the place is very nice, clean rooms and the staff is quite attempted.

Excellent deal. Staff, starting with the receptionist J Carlo. Spacious, comfortable, clean rooms with a very nice and luminous bathroom, in a very careful environment full of beautiful flowers and vegetation. Highly recommended.

It is a strange place a kind of village organized around its swimming pools and bad restaurant. The park is quite beautiful but like the surrounding countryside in this area.

Very friendly staff, all are facilities. Great facilities, much better than you will see in the pictures. Amazing views of the volcano. Lots of fauna and flora.

Service very good, care very friendly and pleasant staff from the front desk as the restaurant and housekeeper. Rooms very comfortable and spacious. Normal food (lunch, dinner) breakfast very rich and varied. The only detail of the hotel would be that when full, it delayed longer than normal to pick you up to the rooms… In general, very good.

The hotel is awesome! The breakfast is to die for, and the cabins are nice and well kept. The cabinetry isn't like top notch or anything, but it's functional. The hot springs were nice. The wildlife is so pretty! Good price too!

Had a great visit here last week. The view was spectacular and I loved the privacy each room gets. We had rented a car which helped as the grounds are over a large space but you can get around without issue without one as well. The staff was very polite and quick to respond. The only thing I would say is I wish the towels were softer. Definitely would stay here again if I return to la fortuna.

The whole resort definitely ranked five stars but there were a couple gripes. The hot springs pool was barely warm and it doesn't look like the water is filtered so as a pool guy it was kind of gross. The pool water had a greenish tint from an algae bloom and there was dead algae sitting in the skimmer throats. I guess never go swimming with a pool guy to point stuff out? The hot tub at the spring was warmer (like probably around 102F) and did appear to be filtered. This may vary at times of year. There was very warm water at one of the pool returns but the flow was horrible. If the flow was better it is feasible the water would stay reasonably clean and be warmer as well, assuming that is natural spring water coming in. The grounds are beautiful and we saw sloths, an alligator, and dozens of species of birds including a hummingbird nest right outside the restaurant with two babies in it. The rooms are cool as well but you are in the jungle and there was no screen on the bathroom window. A couple times in the trip we turned up back home to several millipede looking things. The buildings are I think all duplexes. We had neighbors one night with teenage girls and they ran out the hot water getting ready for dinner so I suspect each duplex is on their own hot water supply. I think each bedroom faces the volcano but some rooms like ours face away from the street so you actually have great privacy.

I went after sunset. The pools were lit and the water was very warm. Wear swim shoes because the bottom of the various springs are Rocky. It was very relaxing even though the pressure of the water was rough at times. Ate at the buffet located on premises after, delicious.

We found the colors of the room cold, on the other hand super bathroom with plants.

It's a very quiet place. Special to come with children. Excellent service. Beautiful thermal pool.

Nice hotel with partner and friends or with children. The meals are excellent and the service without reproach. The pool Termales is really fantastic and allows to relax and if the heart tells us, we can have a nice drink at the adjacent bar. The view of the Arenal Volcano in the morning at lunch is beautiful. I strongly advise.

A scenic and chic resort, along the way full of unique flowers and trees decorated intoxicating, the small lake in the side of the shadow in a variety of birds in the play, it seems to be in the fairy tale!

We spent four nights at Arenal Manoa and enjoyed every moment of our time there. The grounds are stunning — the landscape is goregous. I spent hours with my camera shooting photos of the colors and textures of the tropical flowers and foliage. Rooms are very large with very comfortable beds, though the rooms could use better lighting and drawers so we could unpack our suitcases. The housekeepers surprised us each day with our towels cleverly folded in shapes of animals. It was a very sweet and personal touch. The restaurant is fabulous — in part because of the food, in part because of its open air design and rich wood finishes, and in part because of the very attentive and caring staff. In fact, all the staff at Arenal Manoa was attentive and caring. The hotel is located just a bit too far from the center of town to walk, but once you get to town, there are lots of shopping and dining opportunities. It is a little too touristy but after all, we were tourists! I recommend this hotel highly.

Amazing place. The staff were knowledgable and efficient. The hot spring pool with the swim up bar is a must. We had the most stunning views from our room.

Awesome view of the volcano. Amazing staff. The artistic layout of plants subtly accented the view of the volcano, while giving our room a private back yard. The breakfast buffet was truly amazing with ommlets made to order, french toast, and a wide variety of fruit and local cuisine. The location is close to La Fortuna, the Hanging Bridges and the waterfall. The roads are paved from San Jose, which is a big plus.

The rooms were terrific. Spacious private resort-style property and service at hotel prices. The pool and hot springs had swim-up bars. Mario at the pool was excellent and made great drinks, the hot springs were a little less inclusive (bartender more interested in entertaining female guests than serving everyone). When we wanted to go to the waterfall, they had our own personal taxi pick us up at our room and take us to and from. The food we got for room service was surprisingly delicious. Everyone at the front was super nice and they always had someone that spoke great English. The pics don't do this place justice. It was like having a private cabana in a bird sanctuary close to all of the action without having to be in Fortuna's downtown. The breakfast was great as were the views of Arenal.

Sevice oriented staff was always kind, courteous, and helpful. They always strived to provide good service and make things right if something had gone wrong. Amazingly fast shuttle service with very private, exclusive feeling rooms that had stunning views of the volcano when not covered in clouds. Also, new towel animals daily provided by the maid service made it extra special for the kids when coming back to the hotel. The pool was great for adults or families and gave us a unique experience of swimming with bats at night. The hot springs was also great although the hot outside temperatures combined with the hot water made this less usable for our family. The only downside was that the food staff could be hit or miss… mostly good but some did not come off as friendly and sometimes they where pretty slow.

Nice, excellent rooms, neat, comfortable, good breakfast buffet included in the price that is suitable for that offers the Manoa. The pool and hot springs are small, green areas and facilities are first class.

The location is really good if you are here for Arenal Volcano and activities around the Arenal National Park. Conveniently located just a few kilometers away from La Fortuna town. The rooms are clean and service is good. I just wasn't too happy with the bar timings. The main pool is really nice, but the bar shuts at 6:00 pm.

Beautiful resort! Room was facing the Arenal itself with a sliding glass door that allows you the spectacular view all day plus their beautiful garden. It's built in a way to make you feel as you're the only one on the resort. Your unit is surrounded by a colorful beautiful garden finished with the grand view of the Arenal mountain. Everything you need is handy. Nice hot spring pool with a swim up bar. Friendly staff and delicious delicious delicious breakfast buffet. Did I say delicious? Delicious! Reception is a bit far from the room but that's because it's a resort so they have a complimentary car service available to get you to and from anywhere on the resort unless you want to exercise a little. I would have given five stars but there were these little creatures that kept crawling into the room from the bottom of the door that I didn't like. Minus the creatures coming into the room, it's a five star hands down.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are enormous. You can follow happy hour around the hotel from 4 to 7. The hot spring pool is very relaxing. The Wi-Fi connection doesn't work too well from the guest rooms and it would be nice the rooms had better beds. Still very glad I got to stay here.

Arenal Manoa is the perfect hotel for a moderate budget in the Arenal Volcano region. Every room is the same — two beds, terrace with volcano views, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, and bathroom. A buffet breakfast is included with a mix of both local and American meal options. They have a full functioning farm that you can tour for free. There are two pools each have a swim-up bar and one of them is thermally heated, a nice hot spring substitute and a treat to relax in after a day of touring. Overall a great hotel for families! Wonderful location with epic views of the Volcano. The rooms are all seperate little houses, superbly clean and well presented! Easy access to all the activities in the area, and the hotel will organise if required. Would definitely recommend as a location to stay on the area.
