I would give this resort a 5* plus. The service, amenities and food were outstanding. They catered to our every need and arranged a last minute extra night stay. The rooms are even better than the pictures you see on line and have Total privacy, private plunge pool and super comfortable bed. The dual head shower was amazing. Private hikes, great spa treatments, excursion options for all, beautiful pool area, scrumptious bakery and waking to the sound of monkeys was so surreal! I highly recommend Amor Arenal for a romantic/adventurous getaway.

This is one of the most awesome places I have stayed, only second the the Maldives. The rooms are so beautiful. All the resort, restaurants, rooms, personnel are 5 star. Can’t wait to go back! Already recommended to several friends!

Our honeymoon stay was a dream come true. We were in awe as soon as we walked inside the cabin. It is spacious, beautiful, cozy with a huge shower and amazing hot tub. Robes and slippers await you. There were even kettle bells and yoga mats available in the room. Guests have complete privacy between cabins thanks to the luscious rainforest. Complimentary breakfast is wholesome and so delicious! The nearby resort trails are worth the hike. There is a peaceful meditation area with and overlook and amazing spacious gym with everything you need. The pools have a waterfall in a setting that’s incredibly relaxing. Loved the wet bar at the pool and seeing the volcano at breakfast when the sky cleared up. Most importantly, everyone that we worked with was so warm, friendly, professional and willing to make your stay the best as it could be. Really appreciated their help with expeditions, tours, and transportation. Guests will absolutely get their money’s worth while staying here. This place is a “must” when visiting Costa Rica. We’ll be back!

From beginning to end our stay at Amor Arenal was nothing but amazing. Service was top notch and all the staff were friendly. Our casita was spacious with a view of the Arenal volcano in the shower, also within 5 minute walking distance to all the amenities. Food was delicious and the complimentary breakfast options were plentiful. We enjoyed our couples massage and body scrub at the spa. They also offer daily meditation activities. We also did the 3 course traditional Tico dinner at La Juaranita and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The resort is located within a reasonable driving distance to La Fortuna activities (hot springs, hanging bridges, and volcano hike). Amor Arenal was amazing all around, I would come back without hesitation.

We stayed at Amor Arenal for our 15 year anniversary and we’re completely WOWED with the property, the casitas we’re amazing and secluded with the best views of the mighty arenal volcano! The cocktails were on a level we’ve never experienced before thanks to Daniel and Oscar for making the most unique and flavorful drinks! It was truly magical!

The hotel is fantastic… The rooms and showers are very spacious, full of peace, without curtains but with everything that is required to sleep like never before, jacuzzi, lots of nature, attention and a luxury staff… they are all too friendly and the food is delicious as well as the drinks… very well located, an amazing view of the volcano… it has an amazing spa and a wide range of tours. Assistance and thousands of details… it is a hotel that will leave you speechless and eager to return…

The experience at Armor Arenal was the 'next level' concierge service! Right from the reception upon arrival, Raquel, our personal coordinator, was superb! She was so knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating the entire stay! This is a perfect adult only romantic location or relaxation retreat for friends! The carsitas are all separate and private with spectacular views of the Arenal volcano and literally immersed in the rainforest with its own hot tub. There are three pools, spa facility, gym, and meditation deck, with amazing views. The grounds are lush and beautiful, with exotic plants and flowers. You awake each morning to the sounds of nature and experience wildlife firsthand. The restaurant staff is amazing and nothing short of spectacular! Each and every day, every interaction with the staff, you feel as though you are the only guest, and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and respond quickly to every request. We loved Raquel, Esteban, Mario, Eduardo, Roman, and Will! PURA VIDA!

Most luxurious hotel ever. Every casita is very private and has its own outdoor jacuzzi. Staff is the best. Nothing is forgotten and they make everyone feel important. Highly recommend this adult only, organic, eco-conscious hotel.

Since I've gotten home I have been raving to everyone I know about how amazing our experience at Amor has been. From the beautiful, thoughtful and romantic rooms to the 5-star dining experience in the restaurant, the friendly bartenders, the kind staff who were eager to help me practice my terrible Spanish, the beautiful hikes and amazing views, my husband and I were in heaven. I am not kidding when I cried the morning we had to leave, I did not want to go. My husband and I have been to Australia, Europe, all-inclusive resorts and all over but Amor is our favorite place on earth and we are dreaming of the day we can come back and bring friends and family. When our transportation got canceled to our next resort the staff at Amor bent over backwards to help us stay another night without changing our rooms. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. At one point our bartender called our room to tell us to look outside because the rain had cleared enough to see the volcano. We would have missed it if he hadn't taken the time to do that for us! Fabio is amazing and we even still talk on instagram. I could go on and on about how much I love this resort and I would recommend Amor to anyone looking for heaven on earth.

Beautiful location. Brand new, just re-opened. Middle of the forest, view of Arenal volcano. Staff super friendly and helpful. Our room was in front pf the volcano, shower views on the open forest and river. Perfect honeymoon. Also had hiking trails in the resort and horseback riding.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this hotel is. Incredible staff, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere. Everything is top notch and I would come back in a heartbeat!

100% yes! The design, style, materials, workmanship, decor and attention to detail far exceeds most every place we've been in Costa Rica. Everyone who works there seems like they truly love their job. They are genuinely happy and friendly, and provided top notch service. The property is drop dead gorgeous, and the grounds and nature trails absolutely beautiful, especially if you get to go with Rudy, the most knowledgeable, funny, and interesting guide we've had.
The 100° heated pool that surrounds the bar with the fabulous Fabio, and jacuzzi at the room were both divine. All 3 of us had massages and each thought they were incredible. Obviously, can't say enough good things about our stay here.

We selected this hotel for our Honey Moon and everything was amazing. It is a magical place between the forest with an awesome staff that make you feel in home. The best honey moon hotel I could ever wish. If you are thinking about visiting don't doubt it anymore. You wont be dissapointed!
