I had a great stay here. Awesome location, newer, no carpet in the bedrooms, and great square footage in the rooms. It’s a limited service hotel but they do a great job at exceeding expectations.

Stayed at the Moxy Banff with my family and we had a great experience. This hotel has a really fun vibe that’s different from your typical hotel.

Excellent and friendly service, excellent location within walking distance to everything you could need. Beautiful and new design. Very comfortable bedding and sheets.

The Kenrick gets it. If you’re looking for that old school service & hospitality experience, look no further.

Had a great stay for my 25th anniversary in Banff. I picked Canalta for the few extra touches like included breakfast, happy hour and hot tubs. Overall, stay was great with a very friendly staff.

Perfectly fine lodging. Property well-kept and in good repair, exceptionally clean with a fabulous staff.

We had a great stay at the Juniper for 6 days. Staff was super helpful. Property was beautiful. Food was great too. Very convenient to Banff and ski areas. Wish the hot tub was a little hotter.

We were blown away by the standard of this hotel. It had everything we could've possibly wanted and more! We had chosen the mountain view room which had a fabulous balcony and view.

This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from downtown Banff, but it works perfectly if you enjoy a quiet & comfortable stay. I enjoyed my stay here from start to finish.

Tunnel Mountain Resort is great. Our suite was wonderful, on two levels with a balcony with a tremendous mountain view. The resort is well located to visit sites in the surrounding area.

Excellent location being very close to Banff Avenue and plenty of restaurants however situated just outside the bustle.

The Moose Hotel was an excellent spot for our family of 4. It is right on the main road in Banff, with easy access to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Banff. Our room had a balcony right on the main street so we could watch the people walk by.
One of the main features of this hotel was the hot pools on the roof.

Perfect location in downtown Banff! Everything within walking distance and easy access to get to shuttle pick ups. The place was clean and spacious for our 6 person friend group.

Great hotel, much better than expected.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. A note, we did have to check in and out and access the hot pool across the street in the canoe hotel but it was worth it as the outdoor pool is beautiful and relaxing.

Location is nice when you want to near the mountains but still close enough to the downtown centre. Our room is adjacent to our parking and accessible.

What a beautiful property! We will stay here again!
Location is on Banff Ave away from all the tourists BUT with the free transit pass we were in and out of the main area in minutes.

We just stayed at The Otter, in a Mountain View King Suite, 5 nights in mid-July. In the plus column, we really LOVED the design of the hotel — it’s warm and chic.

The Royal Canadian Lodge is in an excellent location, making it a great base for exploring Banff. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean, towels incredibly soft, comfortable bed. They provided $15 meal vouchers for their restaurant/bar for each day we were there.

All the staffs were extremely friendly — they helped us finding and booking all the activities from their end.

Room was quite nice. Atmosphere is not as fancy as other hotels but still nice.
Our room was not made up. We were in a corner and the other suite next to us had their no service sign out.

Great hotel in a very convenient location close to the heart of the city centre.

Very nice rooms. Pleasant helpful staff. In peck season you may definitely need to use the ear plugs provided due to all the street noise. Only complaint is the stupid barn door on the bathroom.

Setting aside the fact that real estate prices in Banff are simply astronomical, the hotel was good. Honestly, I have never paid so much for such a small room.

We recently stayed at the Best Western in Banff and were originally scheduled to stay from Friday through Monday.

Wonderful experience! The location was great, the transit stops are right outside the front door! And, just a short stroll to shops and great eats. Plus, our room was perfect with a great view.

It was comfortable, we stayed in a cabin with 2 flights of stairs so I certainly got my exercise. A washer and drier was good as we were mid trip along with a small kitchen.

A beautiful place perched on the hill side. Gorgeous views. Yes the rooms are dated but it adds to the charm of the place. Daily housekeeping were great.

It’s one of Banff lodges, which all have good locations. Only 10min walk to the visitor center. Old but clean, no more impression.
But the parking and check-in process are all very confusing.

Good rooms, though train whistle sound at night can be a bit annoying for some — our trip schedule was pretty packed so we didn't have time to tried out any hotel facilities sadly.

Great location near downtown that's close to everything. The room we stayed in was dated but spacious, have a little kitchenette.

The room was neat and clean. Hotel has a nice pool and provides towels. All the rooms are outside.

Service was good. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean. I did have an issue with our sink not draining properly so they probably need to snake their drains more.

The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The bus passes and discounts at their sister property were great perks. The location is walkable to town.

Our Stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs was nothing short of amazing.

The customer service everywhere was amazing. The hotel is VERY child friendly. Even the server at the Italian restaurant brought us a wet cloth to wipe our son off with. So kind.

Stayed here in Nov 2025. Only negative thing I have is that I don’t think they should advertise wood burning fireplaces if they aren’t going to provide firewood.

Been coming here every year for almost 20 years and it is fantastic.

Clean, spacious, and scenic.
Everything about this stay was perfect. Our room was huge and very clean, providing plenty of space to relax and for our baby to crawl around.

I recently stayed at the Rundlestone Lodge and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was a good size and well laid out, with a king bed, TV, desk, and a pullout sofa.

We stayed at the Rimrock Resort Hotel as part of a Rocky Mountaineer tour. The property was spectacular, the room was spacious and had a great view.

I’ll be honest—at first I was worried because I saw a negative review that almost made me cancel. But I’m really glad I didn’t.

Excellent location if you intend on walking everywhere in downtown banff. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was good value and the overall atmosphere of the location was great.
