Very nice hotel, smack dab in the middle of Banff. Walk everywhere.
The hotel and rooms are nice. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Great location right smack in the middle of town! Convenient. Building inside and out is very kept. The Christmas vibe was alive and beautiful in the front desk area. Staff was extremely polite.
Such a perfect place to stay! I was on a solo trip to Banff and this hotel made me feel so safe and comfortable.

We loved our stay. Close to everything, easy to access transportation to the sites and skiing. The bartenders are all amazing. They have an a great restaurant and bar that serves breakfast and dinner.
Our stay was exceptional! From the service to the food. Location, location!
Mihael at the bars had great service. Friendly and very attentive.
Would recommend staying here to others for sure!
Stayed here for a busy long holiday weekend over New Years and have nothing but good things to say.
In general a great hostel. Great location, clean, nice breakfast. I slept well but the bed was squeaky and for those who like to self cater the kitchen is very small.
Absolutely loved staying at the Samesun!
First time at a hostel, I was quite overwhelmed until I entered the building. Staff is friendly and very welcoming, the rooms are quite basic but very clean.
Absolutely phenomenal hostel! Great locations; rooms were great, and the lodge style made you feel really a part of the mountain vibes.
Nicest hostel ever. Staff are so nice and from all over the world — happy travelers on a stop. Shared showers were really clean. Room was clean, a bit dated. Views are amazing.
Stayed here for about two months, the staff is amazing and the events are great. Only thing is it’s 2026 we should have bunk beds with privacy curtains at the price this is lol.
Beautiful home from home. Fantastic location and host… Molly's company at breakfast was an added bonus. We will definitely stay again.
Beautiful Lodge amazing location and the Palestinian flag on the porch shows you that that the people running it are sympathetic and considerate human beings. Will stay there on my next trip!
We loved our stay! Everything was great.
Clean and cosy right by the center. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made by Karen. Karen is an amazing hôte!
Due to the fire in Jasper we had to relocate and chose Banff — which we had skipped in the first round.
A superb B&B, run by a lovely couple.
Breakfasts were excellent and filling.
If you want one the best then look no further.
An absolutely beautiful bed & breakfast with lovely hosts. I had the best night sleep & woke up to a delicious breakfast.
A highlight was hand feeding tiny birds on the very tranquil back patio.
Very friendly place to stay. The staff is amazing to deal with. Price is right check ins are fast and hassle free. Stay here alot. 100% recommend!
Perfect place for my needs. I was here to spend lots of time outside and hit lots of trails outside so I needed a safe space for my stuff during the day and a place to sleep.
I was an out of province student (no family around) and I had to get a knee surgery at the Banff Hospital.
The hostel manager was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
A lovely place that fits perfectly with Banff’s stunning scenery.
Great location, comfortable and clean — we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
It's easily walkable around downtown. Rooms a good, clean and quiet. Only downside is parking a pickup truck is a challenge but don't let that deter you.
Simple and clean location on the main strip of Banff. Everything is walking distance.
One fault, if the streets are noisy you can hear it. More so than the average place.
We loved it there — most of all the service. Every time we asked, the response was immediate and helpful.
This is our 2nd time at the hidden ridge resort. Decent location within Banff, quick drive or bus ride to the downtown.
Hidden Ridge totally exceeded our expectations! It provided the service of a hotel with the privacy of an Airbnb. The townhouses were spacious and clean with all basic necessities.

The room was clean and check-in/ check-out was real smooth.
Stayed here in Nov 2025. Only negative thing I have is that I don’t think they should advertise wood burning fireplaces if they aren’t going to provide firewood.
Been coming here every year for almost 20 years and it is fantastic.
The room was neat and clean. Hotel has a nice pool and provides towels. All the rooms are outside.
We did a little staycation in Banff from Calgary and overall had a great time.
The cave pool was a big hit, but just a heads up that it’s not really a “swimming pool.
Excellent customer service, especially given the late hour, with the team handling a wrong bed configuration quickly and graciously.
The loft bedroom is stunning, with the fireplace to cozy up to made our adventure all that much more enjoyable and added a warm close to our stay.
Upon arrival right away we were greeted with a friendly staff, and this hotel was very accommodating with our needs, they even allowed us to check in early and check out late, which we really
I was happy because they upgrade my room to Loft Suite. Place is good and I liked the parking space.
We are in the second floor. Bathroom is spacious and clean.
Super clean, provide great variety for breakfast right in your room. Good size, great location. The staff was super friendly. Would easily stay here again. Very comfortable rooms.
Cute B&B with clean rooms and everything you need provided. Each day our room was replenished with a thoughtful breakfast tray. We can see three different mountains from our windows. Parking on-site.
Good location in Banff, easy walk to town centre. Parking on site worked well for us as we got there early… looked to me like they had more rooms than parking spaces though.
A phenomenal experience all around this weekend staying at the Rundlestone in Banff.
Clean, spacious, and scenic.
Everything about this stay was perfect. Our room was huge and very clean, providing plenty of space to relax and for our baby to crawl around.
I recently stayed at the Rundlestone Lodge and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was a good size and well laid out, with a king bed, TV, desk, and a pullout sofa.
I booked a room here for myself and three others on a budget, I didn't tell them about the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised and nobody in our party had any complaints!
I like the hotel. Very clean and comfortable to stay. The staff were friendly. It suited our need to ski. A great location. Great price. Walking distance to the town center.
Lovely old hotel very comfortable. Good bed and strong shower pressure. Restaurant attached did great lumbar jack breakfast. Frontdesk staff were very helpful.
The Douglas Fir is great for a family stay. We were travelling with 4 children under 9 and 5 adults. We had great space. The kitchens are well stocked to make basic meals. The beds were comfortable.
The chalets are really cool and cozy. Great to see some wildlife and go for walks and hikes out the door. The water slides and outdoor hot tub are awesome.
I recently stayed at the Douglas Fir Chalet, and really enjoyed my experience overall.
Me and 8 friends used this place for a week of sking Banff Sunshine and Lake Louise. It is one block from the bus stop for both resorts. It is 2 blocks from the main drag Banff Ave.
Great location. Interior is amazing and warm. Will definitely be here again if I am in Banff. Loved my stay.
Location — 5/5, two mins from city centre, shops, malls, restaurants. Rooms — 4/5, slightly small, very this walls, noisy beds and staircase.
Located in the heart of downtown Banff you can't sleep closer to the action then at the King Edward Hotel.
We stayed in the Queen room which had basic hotel amenities. The room was clean.
I came here near the end of October so it wasn’t too busy and having no A/C was not a problem at all since they have heaters.
Stayed here for a few weeks recently, I found it very good. Hotel is in the heart of Banff close to all the best pubs, eateries and public transport options.

Great location for a fair price, when booking I received 20% for booking 3+ evenings with my stay. Location was a quick 5min walk to the main Banff Ave for shopping.
A quiet place for a great night of sleep.
This venue will be missed as an in between hostel and hotel experience.
Thank you for a wonderful experience and.
I was satisfied with my 2nights stay here with my two daughters. First location is in downtown; room was ok (though no TV) and I didn't mind the details but it was clean.
Staying at this hotel in was an incredible experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views that make you feel relaxed the moment you arrive.
Most Beautiful Views, Friendly Staff, great food and rooms!
Wonderful and beautiful full service experience. Only negative is very small, tight bathrooms.
