At Wits End B&B

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely B&B at Banff. Beds are comfortable, room has private bathroom. The common area is very welcoming, and has many products to prepare yourself a good breakfast. House is located at quite area, 5 minutes walk from downtown, and has private parking.
April, your host, is very welcoming. She gave us good advices about travelling the area.
I definitely recommend this place.

April’s hospitality was second to none. The B&B offers wonderful rooms, a well-equipped kitchenette, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend if you are staying in the Banff area to consider booking!

Lovely bnb in Banff away from the bustle of the town but close enough to walk to the main sites. Room was comfortable we were in the king room. Nice ensuite. Did here bathroom noise from the bathroom next door but apart from that it was quiet. Plenty breakfast items in the kitchen and tea coffee etc to help yourself as often as u like. Lovely garden and enough parking for each room. We were greeted by a female elk and baby on the way home one evening in the garden opposite. Beautiful site. Would definitely recommend April's bnb and would 100% return if in the Banff area in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the first few days of our honeymoon! April is a wonderful host. She was accommodating and understanding with our travel delays getting in.
We stayed in the queen room which is a good size, has an ensuite bathroom and Roku TV.
The property is quiet and away from the main downtown area.
April provides items for a light breakfast and a fridge where you can buy and bring your own groceries to prepare other items if you wish.

The place was nice, close by a little walk of the city centre and several bus stop close. The room were very comfortable and all the places (shared and private) very clean. April was very kind and friendly. I've really enjoyed my stance there!

We stayed At Wit's End for two nights and had a great experience.
Banff Airporter dropped us off right at the front door. April, the owner, was there to greet us upon our arrival. She was kind and resourceful.
Both the common area and our Twin/King room were clean and well-maintained. Pride of ownership showed in every detail. This well-appointed room had a generous-sized en-suite bathroom.
I always look forward to gourmet breakfasts when staying at BnBs but unfortunately it was not offered here. But instead, the fridge was fully stocked with fresh continental breakfast items: various types of bread, butter, jam, yogurt, milk, fresh fruit etc.
Although the property may appear to be located off the beaten path, it's only within an 8-10 minute walk from downtown Banff in a picturesque area. Definitely helped us reach our daily step count goals.
As a bonus, there is a Chinese restaurant along the way with unbeatable lunch specials (dinner specials could be as good, but we didn't get to try).
We will not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this place to a friend.

At Wits End is a great bnb in Banff. The location is within walking distance to downtown and Bow Fall viewpoint. April is a super nice and friendly host. She provided everything more than we needed (soap, shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, sunscreen, insect repellant spray and also bear spray! ). The room was cozy and clean. A lot of choices for self-service breakfast as well.

The location is absolutely stunning, it was right at the base of a mountain and close to the Cascade Gardens, about a 10 minute walk beside the river to downtown. The host April had a lot of great suggestions for places to eat and since she was not doing the breakfast portion due to COVID 19, she still left a lot of little things in the kitchen common area so we could make our own breakfast. Yogurts, fruit cups, juice, milk, amazing fresh bread, butter, jam, cereals. Beds were extremely comfortable. The backyard is gorgeous and has a lovely little sitting area outside the entrance where you can eat breakfast outside if you wish and enjoy the beauty of the landscape around you. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were so happy to find this B&B on our first trip to Banff. Our room, bed and en-suite bathroom were so comfortable and clean. It is quiet and tastefully decorated. April is a terrific cook and supplied gourmet breakfasts every morning. She’s also a wealth of information about the area. It’s location is very convenient to the downtown and public transportation.

Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise. This is actually a proper Bed & Breakfast that serves real Breakfast (for some reason Breakfast at a B&B is not a given in Canada). The hosts were very friendly and the reason that this place is highly ranked. The common area was very nice. I was up before sunrise and she set up the Coffee machine and showed me what button to push for fresh Coffee for my 5:30 wakeup. I stayed in the cozy room, which is Europe hotel small and the Private Bathroom is across the hall… which is somewhat awkward, but I knew this coming in so no surprises. The other 2 Suites are self contained. Now there was an issue that came up before my arrival and the Hostess worked with to resolve it very fairly. Location is good, it's the Banff Springs side of the River and you can cut through the Administration building to walk to town. Would certainly stay again.

We really enjoyed our one night's stay at April's B&B and just wish we had longer to enjoy the awesome location and comfortable room. She had delicious baked goods and snacks available, and the room with ensuite bathroom was private and comfortable. April was extremely welcoming and full of great information about the area. The location near the Fairmont and directly behind Cascade Gardens (5 minute walk to downtown Banff) was excellent! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. April is a wonderful host, warm and welcoming and happy to provide excellent suggestions and advice on activities in and around Banff. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and lots of storage. It is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk to town but in a quiet location that gets you away from the hoards of tourists. There is a fridge and microwave available for guests to use with a supply of plates and cutlery and a dining table, which we used one evening when we were too tired to go out for a meal. The free breakfast was amazing, easily the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B. We highly recommend this B&B.

April, our hostess, met us as my wife and I drove in. She is a really nice lady, very personable and willing to share her vast knowledge of Banff and surrounding areas. Her breakfasts were spectacular. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. The location was perfect, just a short picturesque walk across the bridge and we were downtown. We are recommending At Wits End to any and everyone. I hope to return next year.
