Compared to the hotel I usually stay in, Residence Inn, this hotel was rather disappointing. My room smelled like smoke and the lock on the bathroom door would not work. The water running from the shower wouldn't come out smoothly. The breakfast was good, but the room was a bit small.

My daughter rented a room here so we could go swimming when I arrived at the hotel I was really shocked. The front fest staff was very unfriendly. The housekeeper was mopping when I arrived never look up as I said excuse me. The hotel was not very clean wall paper missing spots. The curtains hold mold on them. Needless to say we will never book a room here again.

My wife and I had to travel to Buffalo for some business. Our stay at this Comfort Inn was amazing. The staff was very kind and courteous. The Continental breakfast was very nice. The room was super comfortable & spotless. I would highly recommend this location & will stay here again when returning to Buffalo.

Everyone on the staff was very was pleasant, rooms very spacious and clean. Excellent value. I will be back when in Buffalo! It is located very close to shopping centers and all types of restaurants from fast food to pizza to casual dining. I would recommend this hotel and would be happy to pay a return visit.

Do not stay here. Room was not clean, hairs were all over the place, a random towel was wrapped around the shower head (? ), the towels had makeup stained on them, everything was WET (air, toilets, behind the toilets, the ground, the carpet). We didn't even shower because we were so disgusted. The AC did not properly work and just made the room even more humid and wet. I honestly can't even believe how dirty it was. I still feel gross. The staff were nice and the reception area looked nice. Breakfast was standard and as expected.

The people that checked us in were nice, that’s the only reason I’ve given any stars. The room would have been nice. But there were stains EVERYWHERE. Brown and white stains all over the bedding, brown stains on the curtains, white and brown stains on the walls. Literally looked like when you wash blood out of fabric and a brown stain remains. There was clearly a deadbolt missing from the inside of the door, looked like it was forcibly ripped off. The sink was clogged upon arrival and also broken. Didn’t get back in until after 2am, so we didn’t request a room change. As there were a bunch of people and a dog checking in. But this is literally the nastiest hotel room I’ve ever wasted money on.

ZERO STARS! BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE! THIEVES! I opened up my credit card statement to find a $393 charge from this hotel. A random $250 was charged. When called they claim we smoked in the room. We are NON SMOKERS it’s disgusting and am appalled by this accusation. The manager will not do anything about it. The staff should all be fired from the maids who can’t clean to this manager who would treat an ELITE DIAMOND MEMBER this way. They can LIE and STEAL MONEY FROM YOU! These people are disgusting and the franchise should really look deeply into this staff!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent!

My stay here was horrible from the moment we arrived. Never stay at this hotel. Upon arrival as I'm pulling into the parking lot The employee's where all gather outside and the cops were there. Should have been my first sign this was not the place to be. Next thing I know is the hot water was out and when asked for a refund (after 12 hours of driving to get to my mother's 60 b day party) they refused. Then the employee threaten to beat up my fiance and called the police on us. Next thing you know is now the reason for us not getting a refund is because they called the cops. After two hours of being in the hotel they charged us for the entire stay, even though we checked out and left. One of the doors handle fell off when the door was opened. Another room door wouldn't close and the tub was filthy. These people are conning you don't spend you money here. When you complain, even if your calm they call the police on you so they don't have to give you your money.

Overall, a nice place to stay. Rooms were the best feature. Updated and very clean with everything in working order. Spacious, mini suites, Although located near the airport, flights ceased by about 10:30 and then began again at about 5:30 am. The airport is not a major hub so there aren't that many flights even during regular flight hours. In any event, airplane traffic was not an issue. Breakfast is hot but served only until 9 am, even on weekends. So, we missed breakfast the first two days because we slept in a bit. So we went to Tim Hortons just a block away instead. The hot breakfast we did get on our final morning was good but, as usual at hotel breakfasts like this, it is crowded, so just be prepared for some elbow to elbow conditions. But it's free so I guess we can't complain. Not enough handicap parking spaces. There were only two, which meant my 91 year old mother could not benefit from handicapped parking for two of the nights we were there. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Ice machine missing on our end of the floor so we had to go upstairs for ice. Overall, reasonably priced for this very nice hotel.

Rooms were not clean and outdated. Needs improvement and renovation. Breakfast was not good as the staffs were rushing the guest to finish at 9:00am on a Saturday morning which was kind of weird specially for those with toddlers and young kids. I will never stay here unless have no other options but would definitely encourage guest to look for alternative options prior to booking here. Most of Comfort Inn we stayed in had great services except this particular location. I have stayed in Comfort Inn in almost of 25 states and very absolutely satisfied except this location at Buffalo, NY. Unfortunately, had a bad experience. : (

A little dated but very clean. Excellent service. Bed was comfortable. Easy to find.

Really bad experience. -Pool was closed for "renovation" apparently for weeks, but no work was being done, no notification on the website (until the first guy complained) and the only open permit they have on file with the town of Cheektowaga is for a commercial sign. So that was a blatant lie. Huge problem for me. Booked this hotel specifically for the pool so kids would have something to do and we wouldn't all be stuck in the room (which was small despite being one of largest model of rooms). -Some outlets in the rooms didn't work -bathroom vent didn't work -bathroom door lock didn't work -bathroom heat lamp didn't work -toilet clogged (and when I reported it, I was handed a plunger to go handle it myself) -the plumbing shrieked whenever someone used the water. So for hours a day we were stuck with a high-pitched banshee wail every time we or one of our neighbors took a shower.

Convenient location for black Friday shopping. Room is spacious when traveling with family. Sometimes you'll meet upon mediocre service or a room not properly cleaned but with the right person on staff you'll be taken care of.

Very disappointed. Got there only to find out that the pool was closed for renovations. Employee at the desk said it was on the website so we should have known about it before we booked. I searched high and low and it was NOT anywhere to be found on the website. The rooms were older and the rear door had the key card reader ripped off so you were unable to enter the building near your room. Luckily we were early and were able to cancel that reservation and find another hotel. Very disappointing.

Nice hotel. My friends from out of state had a suite there. The room was very nice, the ladies at the desk we're gracious and parking was ample. The only downside was that their pool was closed and on gray February days it sure would have been nice to get into a warm pool.

If you like to find random hairs… Then this place is for you! I’ll start at the top, five random hairs in the bathroom is so disgusting! On top of that, My Husband found a dirty towel still hanging behind the door of the bathroom. And as you can see in the picture below, the sofa in this “upgraded suite” is stained. The hotel in general is nothing to write home about. It looks like it might be under construction, but there are no signs stating that it is. It’s very dumpy which is surprising because My Husband and I stay exclusively at Choice hotels when we travel for work… which is every week. So the front desk upgraded us to a suite because we are diamond members… I cannot imagine what the regular room looks like if this is an upgrade. Sincerely, disappointed.

We loved ALL the staff, but the 3-11 desk clerk who was extremely confrontational, argumentative, refused to change a $20 bill (I wanted to tip Giovanni/staff for removing screwed on packaging from a new toy I purchased for my grandson. ) He also gave me a difficult time & questioned me for requesting $10.00 in quarters for the guest laundry area! He was asleep when we approached the desk! I avoided him 2 nights of our 4 night stay. He even argued with us over the phone whilst we were driving there & I asked for a first floor room as I am disabled & have had spinal surgery & told us if someone else arrived first they would get our room if they wanted it! He clearly had issues! Because we are nice people. We loved the day & night desk clerks! Kim is a great manager and bit her tongue when I told her of these issues… I could tell she was NOT happy… hopefully he gets the counseling he needs to keep his job & be successful! Thank you again everyone! We shall return!

Pros (read: sarcasm) : — If you are indecisive, this hotel is for you! You can't change the room temperature! There are three options: heat, air cond, off. You can change the fan speed, yes, but you can't "set" a temperature. It's comfortable for about 2 hours until you're either freezing / sweating and need to toggle. — If you want to be efficient and shower with another person, this hotel is for you! The shower hose had a giant leak that sprays you in the face while you try to use the actual hose. If you like half the water pressure, it's a 2-for-1 shower. — If you need to keep tabs on a travel partner, this hotel is for you! You can very clearly hear the movement and activities of the person next to / above you. Very exciting when there's people walking above you from the hours of 7am — midnight. Staff was very friendly and helpful though. Relatively clean, aside from the hair and stains on the mattress. Wouldn't exactly recommend.

Great, friendly service. Very comfortable atmosphere with easy access to adjacent highway. Definitely should be at the top of places to consider!

I'm giving this Comfort Suites Buffalo 1 star because we had 6 rooms for 3 nights and they were never cleaned despite specifically requesting it at the front desk. I brought students to this hotel for a school conference and not one bed was made the entire time! Trash wasn't taken out and we had to hunt down housekeeping for towels. It's an older hotel which should make customer service and cleanliness a top priority but obviously not. When we checked out, the front desk lady gave me the managers card because she felt bad and I emailed him. I've yet to receive a response so they really do not care about customer satisfaction. We also had issues with the bathroom making a terrible noise from the pipes and the floor squeaking making you feel like the tub could just fall through the 2nd floor. One our rooms the water would not turn off no matter how hard your turned so it just dripped for 3 days. Would not recommend this hotel and I've stayed at a ton of Choice hotels through school trips. We've just had such terrible housekeeping service!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. I enjoyed an overnight stay here before I headed to Niagara Falls, CA. My flight was late and I arrived just before midnight. When contacting the hotel for shuttle service from the airport, I was notified that there wasn't a driver at the time BUT the receptionist was awesome in giving me directions for cab service to bring me to the hotel. I was also reimbursed for me cab fare! The room was very clean and just what I needed to wind down after a long day of traveling. Breakfast was perfect for grab and go also.

Excellent service here, we arrived pretty late to our hotel and they took care of us. They keep the place tidy, especially the rooms. They provided morning breakfast from 7-9am. There is also a pool and equipment gym. The location of the suite is about 5 minutes from Buffalo international airport which is very convenient because we had a flight in the morning.

The location is very close to the airport, but tucked away from traffic to avoid noise. The staff were very helpful and empathetic to our needs. The complementary breakfast was also a great way to start the next morning.

Room/hotel very clean. Location is odd compared to other airport locations. Pool was closed although employees were quick to mention it's indicated on their website, one need to read the small prints of their website to take notice as they still advertise a working pool. Breakfast selection was good and well replenished but the area was tight with not enough tables to accomodate all guests. Beside, breakfast hours are between 6 and 9 which forces everyone in the small area at around the same time. Good for the price but we won't return.

The room was clean, beds nicely made. The staff was super helpful. The breakfast was good, there were quite a few options including eggs with ham. We aren't from the area and wanted to try good buffalo style pizza and wings. The guy at the counter gave an Excellent recommendation for us to try! there is no freezer in the room refrigerator, however if you take the items up to the desk they will put them in their freezer. There is a laundry room available and it's 1.50 to wash and 1.50 to dry, there is also an ice maker at the end of the hall which was super nice. Our in room phone didn't work, I let the girls know the first night but it wasn't fixed, I had to let the guy at the desk know the following night… We were gone most of the day, 8 am — 4 pm. We got back in out room and room service hadn't been yet. They showed up 30 min later and by then my kids were settled, so there was no need of them doing anything but taking out the trash. The constantly leaked and the sink was super slow draining, not major issues. My major issues was that our door stopped working! We tried numerous different key cards, but the door itself would not unlock… We got it to unlock after standing there for about 5 min, but after that it wouldn't do anything. Boyfriend or I had to stay in the room to let the other in… the toilet seat was stained badly and probably should be replaced, the tub was also stained pretty bad. Overall the stay wasn't horrible, but definitely could have been better.

The front desk was really helpful and service was great. When I arrived my reservation was not in the computer even though I had emails confirming it. They quickly took care of the issue and got me in a room. Hands off to the team. The room was nice and clean and had a decent selection for the breakfast buffet. In the morning they provided me transport to the rental facility. For the price it was well worth the stay.

Very disappointed with the service, the pool is closed for the summer, the Wi-Fi is non-functional, the treadmill does not work so I specifically chose this hotel for this.

Terrible experience, Front desk "assistant general manager" had terrible attitude, if I could have found another hotel I would have left in the first 5 minutes I was there. Then the A/C was broken, THEN there was hair on my towel, THEN I had to move rooms, in the new room the pull out bed was broken. Worst customer service and a terrible experience.

Rooms were nice, looked modern. A couple of things were left undone though. Fitness center had only 4 machines, two of which were out of order. The pool smelt weird and did not trust it or want to swim in it. Breakfast was good.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean and the facilities were nice. The only thing that was not 100% was someone obviously smoking weed in their room, which made the hallway smell pretty badly.

My experience was so terrible here, that I refused to stay in the room that I booked. Reserved a room for myself and 2 children, solely for the purpose of the relaxing pool and hot tub. Very cheap room — now I know why. It was non-refundable, and all the way down at the bottom of the web page — in very small print — "POOL AND HOT TUB CLOSED DURING WEEK OF 2/14 TO 2/29" — which I obviously did not see. Arrived for check-in, and very rude front desk staff simply told me the pool and hot tub were closed and I would not get my money back. No apologies, and zero helpfulness. I was out of luck and $65.72 less in my wallet. Comfort Suites stole $65.72 from me. I will never stay here or try to book a room again. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Amy Plumley.

Well we first walked in the hotel and it smelt like smoke instantly, and not the kind from a cigarette either, rooms are spacious but beds are very uncomfortable, pull out couch is awful, mattress is springy and very outdated. The staff also forgot to mention they are renovating the pool and hot tub, the only reason we came to this hotel in the first place, also the Wi-Fi is free but always cuts out not pleased and will not return to this location.

Arrived 10/10/201 at 2AM Checked in and staff wanted a copy of my credit card for what they called incidentals. When I checked out at 1PM, I walked down the stairs (hotel has no elevator). It took about 20 seconds to walk down, the front desk said that there was a problem and that I was being charged 169 dollars for smoking in the room. I told the clerk at the desk, Angelo Naile that it is not possible because I don't smoke. He said that the maid phoned him and said that she smelled smoke in the room. I then asked to see the manager. Angelo Naile said that the manager is not on site, until 5PM. I then stated that I would protest this charge with my credit card company. He told me to wait. Two minutes later the manager Cody Offen appears and gets nasty with me. Both men tell me to come with them to the room. When in the room they tell me they both smell smoke and they start looking in the garbage with the maid for residue, which they don't find. They tell me to leave or they will call the police. As I walk to my car with my 14 year old son they follow me to my car and start taking pictures of my license plate and as I try to leave the premises, they try to block my exit. Somehow I squeezed threw them but as soon as I get to the exit three police vehicles from the Cheektowaga police stop me. I told them my story and they told me to wait. When they came back to my car they told me that both those men accused me of trying to run them down.

The rooms were very nice. Unfortunately their customer service and food service was terrible. The waffle maker didn't work, it wouldn't cook the mix. Waffles came out very doughy. Food choice was terrible. I was there for one day stay. At 2:30 am I heard a fire alarm go off. There were people in the halls they didn't know if it was a real alarm or not. People tried to call the front desk no one was there. People were trying to find staff members no one could be found. People went back to their room and a few minutes later the fire squad came and opened the room doors and told them to get out. After all this chaos there wasn't one single apology for this incident. The hotel wasn't willing to accommodate me for the inconvenience of a fire alarm. The alarm went on in the morning again for a few seconds. The staff was playing with the alarms. Also, if you are there for business don't bring your labtop. Their Wi-Fi does not work.

I travel for business all the time and I stay at this location from time to time. It has been awhile since I was last here but I was pleasantly surprised to see they had remodeled. This helps the location tremendously and the check in process was friendly and efficient.

Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, even though the carpet was new. I left the window open all night in hopes that I could air the place out. Glad I wore ear plugs cause the noise from the planes and vacuums in the morning were very loud. Not worth the $120.00 I paid for the night. Front desk personnel were very helpful and they remembered my wake-up call in the morning. When it gets fully renovated, I'm sure it will be nice, but they are charging too much for what it is now.
