Don’t expect any decent customer service at the front desk — It’s luke warm tepid and almost border line rude. I wanted to book the Marriott next door but was pursuaded by my husband to try this hotel, for $250 CDN a night, it was NOT worth the price. Pick a different place with real customer service.

Excellent social areas, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. And the service is exceptional.

Right across from airport. You can just walk across the street. We stay at a lot of Alofts because they are pet friendly and we like the unfussy rooms and that there is always a bar in the hotel. The front desk staff were great and helpful. We were a little disappointed with housekeeping as there was an eyeglass case left on the nightstand and also items left in the fridge (and also a spill in there), but it happens. Everything else seemed clean. Overall a good overnight stay.

Window! We went downstairs and ordered food which was surprisingly delicious and we also had room service bring us desert! I know it sounds silly but we felt like movie stars during our stay! The lobby was decorated so cute and the staff was so professional and friendly! In all honesty this was the best hotel we ever stayed at in my whole life! thank you for the great experience we will be back!

Poor customer service. Refused compensation for dirty bathroom. Blond hairs all over the floor and I am not blond! Called numerous times and sent a message via Fb messenger but to no avail. Very disappointed. They have lost 3 clients over something that could have been easily remedied.

Our biggest thing was they are pet friendly with no pet fee. The rooms are very soundproof and the shades make the room nice and dark. We didn’t hear the planes at all. It is a cute retro hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It has a mini fridge and a safe. Big nice shower. We will be back when we are up this way.

Joe was a great bartender and never once made us feel like our crazy hockey team and parents were an inconvenience. This man hustles like no other bartender I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Thank you so much for making this weekend a memorable one!

Quick stay before flight but great atmosphere.

My wife and I stayed here for one night since it was close to Niagara Falls. The hotel was in good condition and so was the room. It is a modern design and the room was wonderful. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Flight was cancelled and JetBlue put us in Aloft Buffalo Airport. Staff was very helpful and sympathetic considering it was supposed to be the first day of our honeymoon. Room was beautiful, very modern and clean. Front desk staff was amazing.

Checked in hotel smelled like a wet dog. Granted it’s pet friendly but the smell was over whelming. Once we got to our room and got unpacked we pulled the sheets back and noticed a lot of hair and yellow Through the sheets. Once we pull the sheet back we discovered huge yellow stains of urine on the mattress along with long black hair’s. I notified the front desk they sent a gentleman upstairs And moved us to another room That new room contained dog biscuits all over the floor But at this point we just dealt with it I asked the front room to give us our room for free they said no they did give me my parking at no cost but we felt that we should have gotten a room for free they said no because they resolved the problem by moving us to another room. I wish I could post pictures here to show what the stains of the hair in the dog biscuits looked like.

Second time I've been to an Aloft and it was just as bad as my experience in Cleveland. Maybe it's just the hotel style I don't care for. The breakfast that comes as being Marriott platinum elite is BS. You get coupons for a small cup of mashed up food that doesn't taste that great and took 30 minutes for them to prepare, and there wasn't even much of a line. They were also out of two options. The coffee sucked too. Gym was good sized though, which was appreciated. In any case I'd definitely pick the Courtyard or the Fairfield around the corner over this one, despite Aloft being a newer property.

Wow! This hotel is amazing. Very modern and interesting. Everyone was nice and informative. The beds are amazing and so comfortable! (What pillows do you use? haha! ) The shower is refreshing and I love the glass door. By the way, the soap dispenser and shampoo& conditioner dispenser was GENIUS! I sell Bliss products and I was stoked to see them in the room. Didn’t check out the pool but next time I will :) There’s so much to the hotel such as a bar, place to eat, pool table, pool, fitness center… please take my money! I’m going to stay again and again!

It’s only been a few stays in Starwood’s Aloft brand, but I am an early fan. The hotels follow a similar architecture and feel and while I appreciate the modern feel, I recognize that others may not. This particular location is ideally located — literally across the street from the airport. In addition, there is Walden Galleria in close proximity — if you want to do some shopping and / or see a movie. It is also close to downtown — making it a great hub for your day trips.

Giving this 4 stars because the mattress was comfortable, and that's important. I'm still not over the beanbag chair. While comfortable for short stretches of time, there's no way to put your feet up. Yet another SPG hotel that has the door from the hallway open into the bathroom, which is uncomfortable, to say the least. At least this one had the shower behind a wall. The bar area was great and comfortable, and had good food. Breakfast was OK. They do not serve any type of lunch.

Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Buffalo. The design of the room is probably the most unique one of everywhere I've been, and the beds are as comfy as can be. They have plenty of bed side outlets, which makes things so convenient for charging your phone, while playing pubg mobile in bed. My only issue was with the shower head, it wouldn't stay in place for me, unless it was in a lower position.

Such easy registration and terrific room. Great start! Desk helpful with dinner plans. Just off the interstate, with easy access to waterfront fun.

Definitely loved this hotel and the location. It's central to everything and the staff is amazing. The price point is good, but higher than the online advertisement. I'll stay again.

Room was ok. Bed was very comfortable, but because everything is open, you can hear whatever is going on in the room from any part of the room (bathroom etc). Blinds do very little to keep out the sunlight in the morning. Breakfast options are less than satisfying, but there is a Starbucks close by. Dinner menu did look more appealing. Hotel reminds me of a college dorm. Staff was very nice. On the upside, the room was clean and the Bliss toiletries were definitely a nice addition.

Horrible experience with staff. Room was not cleaned properly. Needless to say upper management here just do not care about customer service that's if they can find the "time" to talk to you. The bartenders on the other hand were amazing. Best part of that hotel in my opinion. I recommend not going to this Aloft… Unless you just want a drink.

The staff were very helpful and were able to accommodate our requests. The place is clean and the beds were comfy. We got a good price for our one night stay. I would stay there again if we return to Buffalo.

Stayed here for 3 nights to see family in Buffalo. This hotel was clean and super trendy. Everything is pretty new and the staff was super nice. It’s really refreshing to stay at a hotel and have 0 complaints.

Stayed overnight while in the area for some shopping. Hotel was very cool and modern to say the least. Rooms laid out extremely well. Pool was great, my son really enjoyed it. Didn't use any other amenities such as restaurant or bar, but an airline crew was having something to eat and it looked quite good. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the McDonald's for a quick coffee etc. Hotel is literally across the street from the aiport and offer and shuttle.

Fantastic Hotel. Service was comparable to any 5 star Hotel. From the front desk to the people cleaning the rooms. Friendly and attentive. Very Modern and everything to meet your needs. Located next to the airport with many food options near by.

Stayed here two nights and was a great hotel for the price. Clean and comfortable beds. Pool is a little small. Close by to shopping centres. Would stay here again. They have a pool table and a bunch of board games for guests to use in the lobby which is a nice touch!

Clean, fresh rooms with parking at only $5 per night and a shuttle service if you are flying out of Buffalo. Great service, a broad selection of self-serve food and quick pick up when you return from your flight.

We stayed at the Aloft after staying one night at the Holiday inn, the beds had been horrible there and were in town for the week and wanted somewhere comfortable, I called Aloft and they matched the same price as the holiday in, upon arriving it was beautiful on the outside and the inside was very modern and brightly decorated, we got checked in and went to our room which was heavenly, we had a king bed which was amazing to sleep in but the room as a whole was great! It was very clean and had everything we needed! Water was hot, had a mini fridge, no loud noises at night… I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting here!

This weekend was the second time staying at this hotel and it was just as awesome as the first stay. The Aloft is modern and super clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive (especially the ladies at the check-in desk). This will definitely be my hotel choice whenever we are visiting my daughter at UB.

Nice airport hotel. No frills, but clean and comfortable. Lobby and bar area are nice and trendy and perfect for an informal meeting. The location of the hotel is great as well if you want to be near the airport. I would highly recommend this property.

Great staff and clean rooms. Warmer water drops out at a mere trickle though. So water pressure is definitely lacking. Didn't mention it though. Everything else was good.

Usually a great hotel. Unfortunately when I visited this time I arrived at 11pm. The front desk gave me keys but said they may not work and if so to call down to send someone up. Got to the 6th floor and they did not work. Could not find a house phone so had to go back to desk and a maintenance worker came up with me and let me in my room. Had no keys to room. The house phone was behind the door near the elevator.

Always a consistent solid experience at the Aloft. Forced air in the the room from the AC unit was difficult to get to a comfortable temperature. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.

A great hotel by the airport. Been there for 2 events in Buffalo over the past 2 years and was happy with the room and services both times. Friendly staff and nice hotel overall. Only concern was parking space which was limited.

Excellent location to get to back touristy and take transportation. They have bus to go to the airport for free, and on Wednesdays they have beer and bar food free makes the stay very well.

Really nice modern hotel. Breakfast isn't included in fees but is tasty and does the job. Very friendly staff. Airport shuttle service was also perfect!

Great bang for buck! This hotel has it all and it's affordable. They offer free parking and complimentary shuttle service to/from the Buffalo airport. The lobby has a pool table, board games, bar service, a grab and go food area, big screen tv, swimming pool and gym. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a very modern design and layout. Love that they have Bliss products and free Wi-Fi. I most definitely will be staying here again. McDonald's and Starbucks within walking distance is a bonus.

Pretty much your standard Aloft. Nice rooms, a good bar with better than expected food. Mediocre breakfast options. Less than a 5 minute from the airport. No restaurants close by.

Two weeks ago I called the front desk of Aloft Buffalo and asked if I could change my reservation and come a day earlier. The woman said yes absolutely, it would be no problem, no extra fees or anything. I said that I would call back when I heard back from my work about getting the extra day off before I switched my reservation. So last Friday I heard back from work and called to switch the days and the front desk transferred me to reservations where I was told that I had a prepaid reservation and I couldn’t switch my days. I explained that the woman I spoke with before said it wouldn’t be a problem. I also explained that I booked through the aloft website, not a third party website and when I book with other hotels they don’t charge me until I check in. This is my first time staying with Aloft. She then said that there was nothing she could do for me but that she could write an e-mail to the management at the location of my stay to see if they could help and I would hear back from them by phone in about 24-48 hours. This was on a Friday so assumed I wouldn’t hear back until Monday. I waited until Thursday, still not hearing back from anyone, to call the main line for Alot. This call brought me back to reservations where I spoke to someone else, explained my situation and how I haven’t heard back. She understood my situation and did not understand why I have not received a call back yet.

Ok hotel. Breakfast is not that great but the bar is good for lunch and dinner. It's open and roomy. They have a pool table but it doesnt have a "pool hall" vibe. Rooms are big and the shades cut out all the light if you want to sleep in. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, theirs is in the shower in a dispenser. Shampoo/conditioner in one and body wash in the other, not gonna wow any women. Lots of outlets in the rooms and bedside.

We only stayed 1 night but found the hotel to be clean, the room was contemporary and comfortable. The buffalo Flatbread at the bar was great, the price was decent and you can't beat the location if you want to be close to the airport. And they have a shuttle to the airport 24/7. I would recommend the one in Buffalo!

This place was terrible. I'd give it one star if not for the fact that they accept dogs without a fee. Our first floor room's window was cracked from top to bottom — the crack was sharp enough to cut someone. The lighting switches were confusing and irritating. The entire room shook when anyone closed the door to their room. Same when anyone walked down the hall upstairs. I think the mattress was wrapped in plastic so it crunched all night long. Neither of us slept much. I stay in about 50-60 hotels a year and this takes the cake for worst of 2017.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Just off the main road and even though you can watch the planes at the Buffalo airport you do not hear them. Parking is easy and close to the building. The heated pool is small but usable and the exercise room has the normal equipment. A very comfortable lounge area and bar for socializing or relaxing. The only negative is that there is no included breakfast.

Conveniently located close to the Buffalo airport as well as fine dining and excellent shopping. Friendly staff, bar and restaurant with great evening hours… kristen am beyond the bar on Thursday night was amazing! She was very helpful and pleasant.

The rooms were super clean and check-in was a breeze. Was thrilled the bar and kitchen were open when we got in. It was so late and we were so hungry. Kristen at the bar was attentive and very helpful. The beer selection was local which was cool. The common areas were the cleanest I had ever encountered in a hotel. The hotel is on my favorites list with SPG. Will be back.

The hotel is very well kept inside and out. They have a bar downstairs and a sitting area with a pool table and board games. The room was cozy but somewhat small. It has a small safe which was nice and comfy bean bag chair. The room was clean and had a nice view overlooking the pool. It was a little pricey but it is an upper class hotel. I would stay here again.

Good place to rest up. Close to the airport. Decent value. A modern take on hotels with rooms that are simple and functional. The place has a vibe like you are staying in a condo or an upscale dorm.

We stayed one night. The hotel was nice but we got a room for FOUR with BREAKFAST INCLUDED and when we walk down they tell us "oh im sorry the breakfast offer is for two people only. " How convenient for them huh? What an easy way to take your guests money Aloft. We're paying for a 4 person room you'd think everyone would be included in the breakfast we payed EXTRA for but didn't end up having. You can keep your basic breakfast options and dirty towels Aloft, thanks for the crappy service.

Pool was closed for several hours after check-in due to cloudiness. Restaurant food was good but service was very slow, took over 1.5 hours for dinner and dessert. Rooms were very nice, liked the modern decor. Very affordable rates. Definitely would go back again even with the minor issues encountered.

Great spot. Staff was very helpful and Super friendly! A little cozy bar in the front lobby gives it a "homey" feel. Not your typical hotel food was delish and the room was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!

The rooms were nice and fairly clean. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms but I did hear people talking in the hallway quite loudly. The warm pool room was very nice, especially with the cool winter. A highlight was the lounge/bar/restaurant area where you could sit and play family board games while having a drink. Overall we had a great stay at the Aloft hotel.

We stayed here overnight. Hotel is boutique style, pretty modern. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Has a pool and a small gym. We also used their Park and Fly service. Shuttle is booked in advance to take you to the airport. All in all, I would stay here anytime I need to travel from Buffalo.

Modern, Hip and Eager to Please was the vibe here! Beds and pillows very comfy, temp easy to control, black out shades, free coffee and tea downstairs, and roomy showers with great pressure! No magnifying glass but hairdryers and an area downstairs to purchase things you might have forgotten. Food for purchase is reasonable and fresh. Full bar, gym and pool! An no keys needed. You can use your phone!

Absolutely awesome experience. We flew out of Buffalo for our last Disney trip. We were able to stay the night before our flight and leave our car parked at the hotel for less than the cost of parking at BUF alone. Our room was clean and modern, the food in the lounge is great and the people are spectacular. What sealed it for us is the fact we saw so many aircrews staying there, including the crew we flew back with from Orlando.

My stay at Aloft Buffalo Airport was an excellent experience. Staff at check in were very friendly and was very quick. The rooms were very modern and clean and exactly what you needed for a nice quiet relaxing evening. Would definitely recommend this location and would stay here again.

Went there to stay for a wedding, it was fantastic, We had 6 rooms, Geneva our housekeeper took care of our needs and Krystal (the supervisor) over saw everything including taking care of the bride and groom. Looking forward to going back for the next wedding. Special thanks goes to Shavara who made everyone feel right at home. She made this event very successful. Thank you.

Great hotel, the best is that Pet's and especially dog's are welcome. You normally even get a pet treat bag on arrival. This visit though there were none available and no newspapers in the morning. Staff reaction and follow up on these issues was less than expected… Also rubber/plastic mattress covers made for a less than comfortable and less than perfect night's sleep. For the price you are paying and the Aloft brand you should be getting exceptional service and a non rubber sheet covered mattress. . That being said I would still recommend this hotel. Very convenient and right opposite Buffalo International Airport.

I stayed for just one night, but was impressed. The price, the hotel lobby, amenities, and the room were really great. The room was clean and really cozy. Friendly, helpful staff. My only complaint was I originally booked and paid for a double room, only to be told upon late check in no double room available so I had to take a king bed with an air mattress. They don't even have king rooms with sofa beds or roll-away beds. They did bring up the air mattress really quick, with extra linens for the mattress.

If you are in town for work within 15 minutes of the airport this is a good and currently only SPG choice. Gym has Dumbbells, treadmills, corner pulpy machine, and some matts. Indoor heated pool is a nice bonus. Everything else is standard aloft. Edit 7/11: Patti the "cook" should be Patti the "Chef! " She is amazing behind the grill. I really like her wraps for a quick meal.

The bar made a very good gin and tonic with lime. Stayed on the 6th floor and the room was amazing. Shower was great. The view was not very good, but that is not their fault. The staff is definitely lacking a bit of customer service skills and tactfulness.

The stay was great. The room was clean and the hotel staff were very nice. It a great modern vibe to it. It was a nice change of pace from your usual hotel. Only issue I had was they didn't finish repairing the drywall behind the toilet after an obvious repair before booking the room. I didn't complain about it as it didn't cause an issue with our stay.

Came here for a few nights for a business training course. Good service, nice rooms, the conference room for training was adequate. Fun pool table to kill time. I'd definitely come back.

Very clean, fun concept with plenty of extras. We arrived around 11 just before they stop serving food at 11:30pm. The burger was tasty and fast. The staff is very friendly and there were a lot of young people at the bar and playing pool on our arrival. The least depressing airport hotel I've been to in a minute. I heard rumblings about a saltwater pool too!

This is a great location near the Buffalo airport, the rooms, bathrooms, facilities are new and clean the value for money is good. The Wi-Fi is 5Mbps up and down and easy to connect, the pool and other amenities nice, lounge areas modern, clean, staff friendly. Room service only from 5pm to 11am. Recommended!

Very nice, clean, new property. Great staff and even had a nice conversation with the general manager who is really focused on a first class experience. I loved being able to enter my room using my phone! Would definitely stay here again!

This was such a great find! Hotel rooms in Buffalo tend to be pricey, but the ALoft was a great value with unexpected ammenities, a great room and fun design elements. Shuttle is available which is great if you are flying in, and I appreciate that breakfast was available for purchase but not included. So tired of paying for blah, unhealthy food that I would never eat that's "included" — love only paying for what I want. Will definitely be back, and this hotel has made my Lifestylist List!

Rooms are funky and a nice change of pace from the standard cookie cutter hotel rooms. Staff is uber friendly but specially Jamie the night getting desk guy and Gretchen at the bar! Location right across from airport. Perfect spot for travelers and a great bar.

The rooms were clean. Not that big but a perfect size for a single person. Love the modern twist. had an issue with an employee not giving the correct information but the other staff I did encounter were friendly and professional. I would stay again.

Shower drain was semi clogged and I had dirty water all over my feet. Worst part is the Breakfast they give you, its no good even for free! For scrambled egg they give you — Frozen egg patty cut up in small bits and then warmed up in microwave. Was tasteless and I just tossed it in the trash bin.

Amazing! Absolutely the best stay near the airport. Loved the very hip and modern vibe, the billiards table in the lobby and the ultra-clean modern amazing rooms. Fantastic service from start to finish. Will stay again absolutely :)

I recently stayed at Aloft in Buffalo with some family. We absolutely loved it. I travel once or twice a year and have visited many hotels and can say that this is one of my favorite hotels. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It was clean, modern and had a great ambiance and vibe. It was affordable, comfortable and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Buffalo. Cheers!
