Friendly hotel team who is genuinely concerned about their guests, clean room, good breakfast and some of the rooms have access to an elevated backyard where you can get a view of the Matterhorn and part of the town on a clear day.

Very good, suberes hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating without any artificial appearance. The breakfast buffet is very rich, the coffee from the self-service machine very good with abundant coffee variations. We give, without exaggeration, this three star hotel ***** stars! On our next stay in Zermatt we are back in the Hotel Phoenix!

This place is pretty nice my room has a view and 2 balconies (they upgraded us for free). The staff is very nice and breakfast is pretty decent.

This hotel comes highly recommended! Rooms at the Hotel Phoenix are modern and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while there. For the fitness conscious the gym offered with a stay at Hotel Phoenix is a full fitness center. It is on the same property and is a separate fitness facility for locals. It had multiple bikes, squat racks, weights, etc. Sitting near multiple restaurants, bars, and areas of interest the hotel is a great jumping off point for any activity.

The hotel is very cozy, very well maintained and the front desk staff really very friendly. Railway station and shopping centre are a walking distance away. Value for money.

Price/performance Totally okay. Service outstanding. We will be back soon.

If you want to take a ride in Zermatt but want to stay on a budget… acceptable (unfortunately in this wonderful town everything is very expensive! ) we recommended this boutique hotel. He doesn't miss anything: comfortable location, professional and very friendly staff, perfectly kept and clean rooms and common spaces, "modern" chalet-style hotel, very good breakfast.

Basic alpine accommodation with a pleasantly good breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable. Toilets in Switzerland are as always, clean, minimalistic and functional.

My husband surprised me for my birthday here. We stayed in one of the circular rooms with a view of the Matterhorn. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Josef is the host of hosts! He bent over backwards for us. All of the staff were helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel, and if we go back to Zermatt, this is where we would definitely stay again!

My boyfriend and I had a amazing stay at the Phoenix Hotel! Clean, comfortable, cosy, beautiful and not that expensive! I will definitly go back to this hotel next time.

One of the better hotels we found in Europe. Excellent service from the hotel staff. The rooms were very comfortable, modern and we had an incredible view of the Matterhorn from our hotel balcony. The breakfast was very nice and offered a lot of great options. We loved our stay and would certainly return in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
