Canton of Valais Hotels

Wow, we do not have words for the JOY that Beausite brought us this month!

I just completed my stay at Beausite (July 2026). From the start, the concierge and front desk staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating.

This is one of the best hotels of our entire Switzerland trip.

My mother and I send a night here to visit Zermatt and the Gornergrat. The hotel was amazing!

I booked this because they had a room that slept three people and was a 5 min walk from the train station. What was a pleasant surprise was the ample breakfast and afternoon tea with live music.

Close to the station a definite positive. The best views of the Matterhorn are limited to the top floor and a segment on the left hand side facing the Matterhorn.

We had a room facing Matterhorn and the view is great. Breakfast was warm and good. Staff are friendly and wonderful.

Hotel Bristol Zermatt offers a comfortable and welcoming stay, well-suited for travelers looking for convenience, warmth, and thoughtful amenities in the heart of Zermatt.

Stayed here over New Year 2026 and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony offering a beautiful view of the Matterhorn.

We had such an amazing experience at the hotel! The staff was so kind and easy to work with — picking us up at the train station was very nice.

We have stayed at Le Petit Baroudeur both last January and this year. As a school group we found it the perfect base for all the local amenities and activities.

Lovely clean, warm hostel, situated right in the centre of Chambéry, next door to the Co-op and the cable car. Very well-equipped kitchen, nice hot showers.

I would like to share my recent experience during my trip to Switzerland.

Great place!
Wonderfully renovated historical building and excellent service. I Hope to be back in the future.
Thanks!

This place is perfect for the traveler! Great location next to train station and all the mountain lifts.

Location was excellent. Just next to the railway if you want to take most out of zermatt in a short trip. Matterhorn view from room was nice. Staff was really nice. Room was clean and spacious.

What an amazing hotel.
Affordable, great location, brand new spa area with steam shower and sauna. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was great.

What can you ask for more. Perfect rooms, more than excellent location (near trainstation, Gornergrat station and funiculaire to Rothorn, very good breakfast, but most important of all friendly staff.

Right next to the train station, the hotel is very well located. The room was clean and new. The front desk was always very friendly and welcoming esp those in the morning shift.

This hotel was perfect. One block from the train station, great view of the Matterhorn from our hotel room, 2 blocks from shopping and many restaurant.

A great, albeit in hindsight too short, stay in Zermatt and the Hotel Jägerhof. I don't recall how I found this hotel, but so glad I did. Highly recommend.

An exceptionally well-managed hotel in a great location, with modern, well-equipped, and very quiet apartments. The entire team is friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

We had a fantastic stay at La Ginabelle (initially booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4 nights) and would highly recommend it.
A special thank you to the front office team, who were incredibly

Spectacular place to stay, especially with small children. Very family friendly, great location and great breakfast/dinner options.

I have just stayed at the La Perle apartments with my sons for a weeks ski trip. We had an apartment and a studio.

We had a wonderful ski stay in Zermatt, especially at La Perle. We cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. The quality of the rooms is outstanding.

Absolutely wonderful hotel.

We were a group of 8 who had come for some hiking in the mountains. The owners of this hotel could not have been more generous, friendly, accommodating and gracious.

I've been meaning to write this review for months because the Matterhorn Lodge really deserves it.
We've stayed in several hotels in Zermatt over the years, and the Matterhorn Lodge has been our

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and had the best time!
The room was way bigger than we were expecting. The spa was lovely after long days of hiking.

Our apartment was contemporary, spacious and well equipped. Which was perfect relief for us through some unpredictable weather.

Amazing apartment with views over Zermatt. Super clean and comfortable with an enormous wrap round balcony. Easy walk down to the town centre. Brilliant service from start to finish.

Lovely apartment that is convenient to Matterhorn Express. All the staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay. If we ever make it back to Zermatt we will definitely stay again.

I’m surprise no one comment so far. Here you go! Great place. Great stay. Awesome view!

We were truly pleasantly surprised by both the service and the apartments. Everything was thoughtfully prepared — there was absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and even more.

Every detail is perfect. Situated in a very nice, accessible part of town. The spa is beyond words. Warm outdoor pool, 5 different sauna/steam experiences, clean, luxurious feeling.

We absolutely loved our week at the Elements Chalet. Lukas is a fantastic host and was so helpful. The ski-in ski-out feature was amazing. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Zermatt!

We never go to the same place twice for skiing, but this place is amazing! Lukas is very, very nice and communication with him and Jessica is perfect.

We rented a very spacious appartement equipped with all amenities one could ever need while away from home.

Super host team Birgit and Remo, where the guest is in the foreground. Rooms and bathroom cozy and clean, everything quite uncomplicated. So the holiday can start right away!

Guesthouse du Grand Paradis is a wonderful place to stay.

Great location and an amazing host! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you instantly feel at home.

Clean, great service. No Wi-Fi service in the bedroom we were sleeping in, but that’s ok.

Super friendly stuff.

Daniel was a fabulous host, really friendly, really happy to talk to me and my friend about the local area and gave us suggestions. Comfortable space and great parking. I will be coming back 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Petit Pré.

The place is excellent! its only 9mins drive to go le bains saillon, appartment and the place is excellent! especially the owner marco and her wife their very kind. I will definitely go back here!

I came here aft the end of an exhausting Haute Route on skis from le Tour in France.
I had to change my reservation a couple of times because of changes in group size (ending up solo) and schedule.

We have just had a wonderful 2 night stay at this youth hostel.

I stayed here while hiking the Tour des Combins and was very impressed. I was in one of the private rooms, which was very clean and comfortable.

There are two sections to the Hospice — the hotel with separate rooms and the hostel area with communal bunk beds and a communal meal. We stayed in the hotel.

I didn’t try the hotel. Just the restaurant and cafe. Not just because it’s the only place open late next to Les Roches but the service and quality of food were outstanding.

We stayed one night at the beginning of December 2025. We rented a double room. It is old but it served the purpose for us and our dog was welcome, a plus. We ate diner at the restaurant.

Old style restaurant and hotel with kind host and reasonable good restaurant. This establishment is decennia old and this looks like the way it was created.

Thank you to Alan and his family for hosting us so well. We had a wonderful time here, both for dinner and for sleep. Loved the morning breakfast.
