Close to Zermatt train station.

My friend from Moudon left her cell phone in our room, we called and was mailed it to her and ready to be pick up at the post office when we arrived home after 2 days, no charge.

It is right in front of the train station which is great. And we slept in 8 beds dorm room which is very comfortable and each bed has its on private space. There is a kitchen downstairs to cook. Everything is walking distance from here.

Cosy room with a view of Mettahorn but sadly blocked by the clouds. Shared bathroom and toilet are clean and dry. There is a shared kitchen where you can can cook with refrigerator, pots, plates, utensils etc. Downside is that there are no elevator and you have to toll your luggage up the stairs.

Just in front of the main station and Gornergrat station. The location was perfect and an amazing Matterhorn view from the window. The shower and toilets were clean. We enjoyed in the kitchen with things we needed. The only thing we regretted was a few people made a mess in the kitchen. We had to wash a dirty burnt frying pan before using it. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Thank you very much Katrina.

Recommend. Great place, warm bed and nice kitchen. Very closed to train station.
PS. No lift. Prepare yourself to carry lugguage up to your room.

Nice hostel, not too expensive for Zermatt. Beds are confortable, receptionist was nice! Free access to the kitchen.

Out of the railway station, the traffic is very convenient, from the supermarket is also very close, the kitchen has a complete set of kitchen utensils can be used, the environment is comfortable and clean, but relatively because in the urban area so difficult to see the view of the Matt Peak.

Stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom. The place is very well located. It is right in front of the train station. The staff were friendly. It is however a bit expensive compared to what they offer, especially when breakfast is not included. The shower room could have been better.

Very well located, I play to the 4th floor by stairs fixed, it was the best thing that. Has No food service of any kind. But in front there is a kiosk and a restaurant.

Best place to stay in Zermatt. Right next to the train station and Gornergtat. Hostel with community kitchens and shared, but very clean and wonderful views!

A very nice hotel, well built for self-catering! Good and central location! I can only recommend it to anyone! Everything is nearby! Shopping Centre 2 times, lift facilities on the doorstep! Clean rooms.

Rooms are big and nice, and in the kitchen you have your own fridge part, and a part of a shelf to store food. A part from that, the kitchen is big and you can use even "public" fondues. Also very clean.

Budget Hotel good care in Switzerland San Mart.

Good location as it's within 5 minutes walking distance to the train station. However, the kitchen is not well maintained and without an oven. There's only a small microwave. The cooking utensils are worn out and dirty. The staff doesn't converse much in English so it could be hard to communicate if you don't speak the local language.

We had a room with a great view of the Matterhorn. Our room did have its own bathroom and the hotel is right on the end of the main street — making it a great location. We would come back. The staff was helpful and spoke English.

Beautiful hotel with shared bathrooms. Have strict rules that you should check in within 12. Have great view. Can see mt matterhorn through room windows on clear weather sky. Good kitchen to cook and clean rooms with shared bathrooms.

The hotel is located right next to the Zermatt train station as the name suggests. I stayed in the dorm, which turned out to be a 13 bed bunk bed dorm. The dorm is situated on the uppermost level of the hotel (level 4) which also turned out to be the attic. It was quite a hassle climbing up the stairs as there was no lift available. The roof is also quite low and you will need to duck down to avoid the roof supports. The dorm itself was very clean and spacious though. Everyone gets their own small locker, personal light and also a charging port. The windows also have a view of the Matterhorn peak. The toilets and shower room were strewn around the lower floors and are clean and comfortable. There is also a big kitchen and common room in the basement fully equipped for us to whip up a scrumptious meal.

Nice train station hotel with outdoor seating. Perfect for a cool blonde…

Rustic, mountaineers, kitchen for cooking.

I like dorm in the attic. Nicely separated comfortable bed. Best view from here. All the best if you can manage your luggage without lift. I also like the kitchen facilities.

My partner and I spent 2 nights at Hotel Bahnhof Zermatt. We stayed in room 5, which had a balcony and distant view of The Horn. Although we had to share a bathroom (ensuite rooms are available) they were never occupied and always very clean. In fact, the entire hotel was immaculately cleaned. The Bahnhof is very inviting and warm. It has great kitchen facilities for those with eating restrictions or those simply on a budget. Its wonderful location across the street from the train station and within close proximity to shopping and restaurants make it the best choice for the price. Second year in a row for me at the Bahnhof. It's a great place to enjoy Zermatt on a budget. The biggest advantage of this place in ++expensive Switzerland is the kitchen facility where you can make your meals for a fraction of the cost of eating out. The interactions with other travellers are a bonus. If you find a better place for the money in Zermatt, take it. But you won't. David from Toronto.

I felt in love for Zermatt, in great part for the lovely hospitality I found in this hotel. I´ve been travelling for 7 months now and had planned to stay just for a couple of nights, but ended up staying for a whole week. Rooms are spacious, confortable and well ventilated. Great and clean showers. Excellent kitchen facilities and cozy relaxing area. Easy and cheap laundry facilities as well. Harry is a gentleman, always in a great mood and interesting person to chat. After hiking in the mountains you just want to enjoy a place where you can feel as home. Perfect place to interact with other travellers, hikers and climbers. I wouldn´t stay in anywhere else in Zermatt.
