Rooms never made, wrote house
Keeping to change beds for 3 days never did. Pool closed, hot tube closed, restaurant closed, breakfast closed. Rooms full price! Sheets when changed had blood on them, comforter torn to shreds!

Rooms were not cleaned. We didn’t make a fuss, but asked for more towels sets be brought to the room. When we returned, this is what we found — sets on the floor in the hallway by our door. Please explain to my why any reasonable person would leave or expect someone to use towels that have been on a public floor. For the highway robbery rates charged, this type of service is ridiculous. We encountered several other guests at the front desk there to complain about a variety of issues — all of which seemed avoidable yet highly inconveniencing.

Keep the ice machines working. The a/c units from leaking on the floor. Refrigerator is too small. Better pillows. But the night staff was very nice.

Solves my purpose. Gym handy, Swimming pool there but was not operating… They accepted to change my room as I was here for a long stay… So just for a new feel they obliged! Staff is good and courteous!

Our hotel room was lit up all night long from the lights in the parking lot. Even with the blinds drawn it was so bright in there you would’ve thought it was daylight outside. This hotel is in dire need of some housekeeping, decent housekeeping! The young lady that works the desk at nice is extremely sweet and very helpful. She was the best part of the hotel.

My anniversary stay was a nightmare, young lady (receptionist) was the best part of stay, Rooms are small and out dated, bar tender was no where to be found for 10 minutes, their was a kid jumping on the tables and furniture, Breakfast host ignored it, she didn't care. The hotel had a dog order and the Dining area was dirty. The worst Holiday inn so far, They promised complementary point and only got 300, you can take it back. I hope someone gets back to me to say even more.

Spacious, clean rooms! Good location with lots to do around the area and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The hotel is right off Rt-1 going north. The building looks like it was updated fairly recently (possibly within the last 5 years), but there is noticeable wear and tear like paint peeling in the bathroom. More of an issue with the quality of work done by whoever did the renovation. The carpet in the rooms and hallways look a bit dingy but acceptable. I needed fresh towels so I asked one of the housekeepers if she could go back and clean my room and she said she couldn't because I had the "Do not disturb" sign on my door. I said alright then give me a few towels. Nope. She said to go ask front desk. The problem is that half the time I went to front desk, there was no one there.

Excellent hotel. Very nice personnel at the front desk, cleaning crews and restaurant. The pasta is delicious and portions are huge. The only bad experience we had was with the room service staff. They didn't bring up water or utensils. We called a couple of minutes after delivery and it took them fifteen minutes to come back up… I was on my way to the restaurant at that point and caught them in the elevator… food wasn't hot by then… regardless I'd stay here over and over…

Tucked away right off Route 1 is this gem of a hotel. The staff are engaged and caring, as well as friendly to all. Of special mention is Amanda the young lady who manages the bar, and is a great asset to this organization. When you come try the quesadilla sampler and enjoy the steak with mushrooms. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to a lot of Holiday in before, but none and I mean none step up to the plate like this location. They didn’t have the room available that we need, but bump us up to a better one at no charge, complimentary breakfast and two free drink vouchers. The staff is great and easy to talk to, friendly and great with my kids. I would highly recommend this location 10 stars.

The location is quiet, slightly off Rte. 1. The grounds are attractive. The bedding was good. I found the light in the bathroom inadequate for makeup applying. Our a/c did not seem up to the job of lowering humidity. The breakfast was adequate — — good scrambled ages — but the very cheap plastic cutlery was almost worthless. That really needs to be upgraded, especially for a breakfast that is not complimentary (unless as a special offer).

Change of many staff positions. A lot of trouble with the room reservations. Difficult to get answers from the staff. The bar staff was not pleasant. The rooms were comfortable. I don't think I would go back.

Rooms were decent. Clean minus a few spider webs. Bed was comfy. Was only in town for a night so didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant.

Beware of staying here dishonest business. On May 2nd 2018 I placed a call to Holiday Inn in Princeton and spoke to a gentleman named Jake and asked for a room block for a wedding. I was promised 20 rooms at 109 two queen beds and was asked for bride and groom's last name for a group name and was told a contract would be emailed to me. Every day since then I called and asked where the contract was. On May 4th when I called and spoke again to Jake and asked for contract that I did not receive by email he stated he had been busy need time to put it together and get it to me. Today May 9 I called the hotel once again and said I had called everyday have not been emailed my contract from last Wednesday. They stated they were working on it right now I said I'm on my way to the hotel I will sign it they said this is fine. I was 19 minutes away and said I'd be there in 10 minutes. When I arrived they said they'd be with me in 5 to 10 minutes I waited 15 minutes. A manager came out and said they had no rooms for the room block that was promised to me. They said no contract had been made I told them of my conversation of a room block set up with Jake and was waiting on that contract from Jake since last Wednesday. They refused to honor the contract and said they had no rooms. I said I can go online and you do have rooms and said you had a room block for me. I also said I just called you 19 minutes before I got here and you told me you were working on the contract.

Me and my fiance spent a night here. & had a terrible time. At first everything seemed great! The customer service manager at the front desk was amazing & very kind! She gave us a room key & told us she'd see us in the morning to check out. Cool. So we get into the room & it's nice up until my fiance finds a stink bug on its back in the bathroom which I honestly didn't see as a problem. Later on that night she finds a bed bug on the curtain in the bathroom & freaks out! I took a picture of it & brought the picture to the night time desk man. He showed know care in the world about the picture & gave us a key for another room which we took. Arriving at the following room, my fiance & I were on edge & decided to thoroughly check the room for bed bugs before settling in only to find a huge pee stain on the mattress. Yea. We definitely weren't happy. Who would have thought the couch in the room would have been so comfortable. Lol Overall at check out we were not compensated for anything. & they showed no care in the world about what we went through… just goes 2 show that I'll never go there again! ***UPDATE*** (I uploaded two pictures. One of the mattress as well as a picture of a bed bug I found in the bathroom. Apparently the picture of the bed bug was taken down but the picture of the mattress stayed. Obviously this place is working hard to insure you overlook their DISGUSTING left overs. )

Good care and quiet to rest.

Go to Holiday Inn Express/Crown Plaza hotel. I asked front desk attendant, Toni, about staying another night and she told me they were sold out without looking. I went online, found a room, and booked it. She seemed too busy training someone… now that person will learn her bad habits. Customer service is key in this industry. Breakfast servers were good with their service. The room I stayed in was in good shape.

Paid for a room at the Independence Way, Princeton location tonight. Dropped off my bag earlier in day, went to work. Return tonight during bad snowstorm to find no power, doors locked, no sign and staff had COMPLETELY abandoned the hotel. Two other people from local corporations with reservations for that night also showed up and had to leave because they could not get in. Had to return to work and will end up sleeping on a couch here. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again. Worst hotel experience of my entire life. Update: Management was informed of my grievance and never responded, and it's now almost a week later.

I’ve stayed here 5 times. Each time it has been clean with friendly staff. Complimentary continental breakfast is available. But I prefer the breakfast at the adjoins Crowne Royal Plaza (same owner)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just spent two nights here. The room was spacious, the Internet access was reliable and sufficient for video conferencing. The breakfast gabs from disposable dishes, but after all fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. The staff was Kuehl for US American investment Blackstone certainly unaccustomed. Check in and — out were remarkably fast. You can live worse.

Decent place in Princeton. Didn't stay here. Visited for a music recital. Was waiting at the bar with son, bar tender was kind enough to give crayons and drawing sheets without ordering drinks. Staff in generally attentive here so guessing room service is good too.

Modern rooms with outlets everywhere, including USB ports. Comfortable beds. The decor is dark wood with cool LED lights (they replaced all the bulbs with the Phillips flat ones a couple of years ago). The restaurant, Cafe Nicole, serves pub style food. It's rarely busy. It has complimentary breakfast, but I've always had to leave before I could take advantage of it.

My rate didn't include breakfast so I declined the upcharge. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is outdated and hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. Staff was friendly but when I ordered more pillows and sheets for the pull out bed, they only brought sheets but did get pillows when I asked again. Overall, a nice stay.

I needed a place to stay last minute but also needed a place that allowed a small dog. Their pet fee was reasonable compared to other places. Check-in was fast & easy. This property was clean, smelled fresh, & very quiet. Their on-site restaurant & bar/lounge food were good too.

Holiday Inn — A basic room and not much else but also has some issues. Like the view towards Rt 1, see pics. Also No air conditioning in hallways and restaurant and lounge bar or ok.

I got bug in my room. Very bad room service. They did not refunded any money at all.

People are friendly. Quiet, comfortable room. The shower has a musty smell and despite three requests to fix it, the toilet seat is loose. There is no hook or bar on which to hang your towel. There was a robe hook, but it was very loose and came apart the first time I tried to use it. Their solution: remove the broken hook from the room! I could have fixed both issues in 1 minute with two screwdrivers.

Hotel is very Nice. For a Taxi would call 973-539-2500.

Great guest services. Got room far away from elevator but close to highway. Still a very comfortable room with lots of pillows.

Nice hotel… Orange infused water as soon as you come in the door. Free morning paper. Breakfast is a lil pricey, but it is Princeton though lol.

Very disappointed with this Holiday Inn. Staff was indifferent and poorly trained. Security was impolite. We requested soon after arrival to fix the bath tub so we could take a shower but no one showed up. We ended up with out the ability to take a shower. Poor lighting in room and toilet. The hotel needs to train staff. It may not be Holiday Inn as a whole but this hotel. Positive note — convenient location and nice lobby.

Comfy basic hotel. Very clean! Breakfast OK, evening meal choices a bit limited but very tasty.

Probably would not stay here by choice. I was an overnight guest through a work trip and while I do appreciate having a restaurant built into the hotel. I'd much rather have complimentary breakfast. Beyond that the rooms are nice and clean, however the lighting in the rooms is basically the same kind of light you'd see in a school classroom. Not really what I'd call relaxing.

Standard Holiday Inn experience. Staff was courteous, the menu was the usual Holiday Inn menu. Nothing special, but adequate for my needs.

I don't know where did all the good reviews come from. The lobby appears to be recently renovated but once you stepped into the elevator, everything else is still in the 90s. AC is extremely loud. I DO NOT recommend this.

Holiday Inn — At least the view is nice! No air conditioning in hallways. Restaraunt and bar are rather lame.

Was there for a seminar. The staff was helpful. They greeted me immediately and provided clear instructions on how to find the room. Prior to lunch, a staff member came to the seminar to provide the ability to pre-order food. Food was good. Parking was ample, and the hotel was easy to find.

Location is convenient for Princeton Reunions since there's a shuttle. The room is clean and well furnished, and the room cleaning service is prompt and thorough.

The hotel was conveniently located and had clean and functional amenities. I would definitely stay there again if / when the need for overnight lodging in the Princeton area arose in the future.

I NEVER write bad reviews. But im honestly astonished at the rudeness. I just went to the area of the lobby where they keep the microwave with tables and chairs right next to it and sat to eat my food in the completely empty area. The bartender proceeded to tell me "you can't eat there. " I politely said "hello! " Thinking I surely misheard her. "I said you can't eat there. " Never coming back for sure. Step your customer service game up please.

The rooms were spacious and quite nice. The included breakfast was also quite complete.

Refurbishing some rooms, other than that helpful front desk woman. Quiet atmosphere.

Easy enough to get to; meeting rooms were adequate; constant banging from maintenance work on second floor. Overall, a fine experience.

Went to the Holiday Inn for a training. The meeting room was nice and the staff was accommodating.

Hotel was conveniently located right off Rt 1. Room was large and nicely furnished. Bed super comfy, and althiugh the temperature contol was the older under tge window type model, it quickly and efficiently kept the room to my preferred temp with a minimum of noise. Front desk staff had a problem with my card and asked me to come back down, and then just hung up, quite rude. But when I got there they quickly cirrected the issue. Rhe following morning the bill slipped under my door was fir a higher amount than my confirmed reservation, but was resolved at the desk during checkout.

I attended a networking event and the room where it was held was lovely and spacious!
