Staff tried but it looked like they simply did not have enough maid service or breakfast staff to meet a full house on a weekend. We used this hotel for family reunion out of town guests. Rooms were not ready (but they were very nice). Most diassapointing was the breakfast service. Absolutely the worst experience at a major chain. They not only ran out of food but we're even out of coffee. Inexcusable on one day but the same thing happened on the next day. Management did not fix this problem. Facilities were nice but a shortage of staff, poor stocking of food items, and a lack of management brought this place down. Luckly our reunion was held elsewhere and this was a minor irritant to a great time.

A great place to stay, rooms are very clean, kitchenette is fully equipped, two burner electric stove, dishwasher, full size refrigerator. The staff is very friendly. The free breakfast is awesome, freshly prepared food, eggs, sausage, bagels, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, juice and coffee, free food at night, soup, salads, cheeses wine and bread. Close to downtown Princeton and the university.

Location is very accessible to US1. Easy to find. Comfortable parking, Clean rooms. Good staff hospitality. Awesome food and drinks.

It was clean, staff friendly. Sofa bed did not come with sheets at all so had to request. Housekeeper did not do a good job of cleaning. Dishes were put in dishwasher but she didn't think to scrape the pot before doing so. Residue was left and dried in the pot and we had nothing to properly wash it with. Bed was not made properly, blanket was just thrown on there. Our stuff was just thrown on the floor oif it was in her way. Including our clean clothes.

Friendly staff. Nice clean hotel. Very accommodating. Has a full kitchen, provides pots and pans, plates, drinkware and silverware. Feels just like a little apartment. This hotel also has full breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night, the beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was perfect. Hash browns, bacon, eggs, toast, waffles, cereal, bagels, fresh squeezed OJ, and fruit. On point!

Overall mediocre. Bathroom needs an upgrade, visible filth in certain areas, and smelled musty. Floors did not seem to be vacuumed very well, popcorn, feathers, etc visible. Kitchen had visible areas that needed attention, cabinets had some sort of dirt or water damage. A spoon in the drawer also appeared to have not been cleaned and replaced. Cigarette disposal outside back door was tipped over and directly next to the entrance, vestibule wreaked of cigarettes and there were butts everywhere. Nothing that is a show stopper but the owners should pay more attention to detail.

Nice clean rooms. Homey feel. Will come again!

Great place to stay; with great rooms, friendly service and easy access to Princeton (its downtown and the university).

Wonderful place to stay. Only stayed one night passing through town with work so I didn't get to enjoy the kitchen. Bed was comfy and staff very friendly. Breakfast was good too. Only issue was the room next door (where our bedroom was) was very loud with their kids. They were screaming and keeping me awake. It was at least 11at night. Parents or whoever was making no attempt to quiet them either. Yes, I heard them pretty clearly. So, if you want a good nights sleep make sure you aren't in a room next door to very young children.

Very good hotel managers who cater to guests with delicacy and with a smile they recommend they feel as if we were at home.

Very comfortable and convenient for extended stays. They have a shuttle that takes guests to the train station. Staff has always been very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was clean but is showing some age. Caulk in the restroom was browning. But everything worked. The included evening drinks and food were not up to other Homewood Suites where I have stayed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had to request two replacement irons and they hustled them to me and seemed seriously concerned.

Booked on line and when arrived check in took less then 60 sec! Wow! Thanks Andrew! Nice rooms, very well equipped. Will stay again.

A bit of a lesser Homewood Suites but still quite nice. First room had toilet problem, switched to a room with problematic door lock. Suites are on smaller side but still comfortable. Complementary breakfast is great, as is indoor pool.

Nice place to stay in Princeton… Just on US 1. Helpful staff members… Good breakfast in the morning… Evening snacks available Mon to Thu.

Very nice clean hotel. This isn't really the hotels fault but the street it's on is a nightmare. It's all one ways and it just makes it difficult to get around. But the hotel was nice, accommodating, and clean.

Very beautiful hotel and location! Modern, clean, and spacious rooms and lobby. We loved the large kitchen and the seating area in each room, in addition to the standard bedroom area. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the kids kept begging to go back. The breakfast area is a little small if you have a large group, but the staff members were very helpful and prepared our seating outside on the adjacent patio. Will definitely be staying again.

Everything was nice and clean and comfy. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, with not enough seating, and slow to update food selection. Ended up giving up and going out for food.

Overnight guest for a wedding. Great accommodations and enjoyed the breakfast (served until 10am), dining space, and 12 noon check out time. It all made for extra time with friends.

The service has been amazing. Breakfast was delicious, staff is friendly and their complimentary services have been tremendously helpful!

I'm staying at the Homewood Suites here in Princeton NJ visiting a friend. The room is cozy and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner are provided, which is both welcome and delicious bonus.

The rooms are nice. They are located along a highway with many easy to find chain restaurants, but will offer suggestions for local places. I am on travel for business and like the central location. Nice happy hour.

I have never been treated so poorly by a manager. If you are looking have a relaxing night with no issues, go to the Marriott down the road instead. I had spoken to the manager for a refund, however, before processing my claim she LEFT. So now, I have to wait til Monday to receive my refund and have to pay more money to spend the night at a better hotel.

Decent room size, courteous staff and good snacks in evening. Did not like it as renovation was going on and material was lying all around.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are true suits with kitchen living space and separate bedroom. The kitchen has a 2 burner range, sink and full refrigerator. There is a 32 in HDTV in bedroom and the living space. Full breakfast in the morning with eggs. Only downside is the only thing in walking distance is a Ruby Tuesday.

I was visiting Princeton for some academic business and arranged long-term stay in a studio room here. In addition to being one of the most affordable staying options in the area — about $20~50 per day lower than the other hotels in my case —, I found nothing to complain about its accommodation and services. Complimentary breakfast (24/7) and dinner (Monday through Thursday) along with free Wi-Fi with decent speed were definitely a plus. It works best when you have your own vehicle, but in case you don't — like myself —, the hotel maintains on-demand shuttle service within 5-mile radius and you can also make use of Princeton University's Tiger Transit Forrestal/PPPL line to get to the campus or the Princeton "Dinky" station (free of charge).

I was happy with everything I experienced at the hotel, especially the friendly staff. I especially appreciated Victor and the other super kind food service staff with complimentary breakfast and dinner.

Totally LOVED this hotel suite. It felt more like a boutique hotel. The service is wonderful. From Stefan (spelling) the manager; to everyone we came in contact with, our stay was marvelous. Victor the cook! EXCELLENT! Jaquelin his assistant cook and customer service for dinning. AWESOME! Hoda the evening cook and hostess was a dear. All of this "restaurant" staff is superlative. They were concerned if I was not attending dinner or breakfast, as they knew I was leaving my only child up there to university. The front desk staff were very cordial and inviting. Stephanie and Laura. The house keeping staff tremendous. I only have Glenda's name as they rotate them. Outstanding. This establishment deserves 5 stars across the board. But Shhhhhhh keep it a secret. I want to make sure they are not fully booked when I return, which I WILL! We stayed from August 31-Sept 10th 2014. You guys are killing it in Princeton.

The room was nice, but the people that work the front desk act like you're inconveniencing them if you ask a question. I was also double billed WITH additional holds put onto my account. Going back and forth between them and the bank ended up being the blame game. No one was interested in getting my account settled but me.

Very unpleasant stay. I've never had to ask to be moved in the last 25+ years of steady travel, but I was in 3 different rooms here tonight. First was supposed to be nonsmoking but reeked of tobacco. In second room, people above were so noisy and jumping around so much the pictures on the walls literally shook. Third room was okay but a downgrade from the one I had reserved (but no refund of the difference). Front desk personnel appeared unmoved by all this, just murmured apologies, acted like the complaints were routine. I need to come back to Princeton twice more in the next month but will definitely stay somewhere else.

It was amazing, no complaints. Front desk stff was very helpful and kind definitely will stay here again! hotel is BEAUTIFUL with many attraction inside out &around the area.
