For our wedding weekend, we booked a block of rooms through the Hyatt Regency Princeton and we’re absolutely thrilled with the hotel. What a beautiful place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the public spaces have lots of light, tables and seats and the hotel bar is great. The suite, which included a full-sized fridge, was exactly what the bridal party needed for getting ready. Also, a huge shoutout to Kate Lester, who was our contact with the hotel. Kate was always responsive and helpful with our endless requests and questions. She’s the best, and we’re so glad that we had her help through all the planning.

Great experience! Manager shouldn’t be behind the bar micro managing the bartenders, sorry that was a big distraction!

Exposed nails outside of bathroom, filthy air ducts, barely engaged staff. Will not be back.

Wonderful and Welcoming Staff, fabulous news restaurant and bar, with a creative and thoughtful Italianesque menu, craft cocktails and excellent service. Spacious guest rooms and loads of meeting space with an oversized ballroom and a new outdoor tent for all of your social party needs. Close to downtown Princeton as well as biking and walking trails and lots of shopping options nearby.

This us the cleanest and far most beautiful hotel we have ever been to so far. And their staff are all so accommodations most especially sir bobby serving at their restaurant, he is such a sweetheart. Great service everyone!

This is our go-to hotel when we visit family in NJ. Always great service and staff, clean and well-appointed rooms. Highly recommended!

This hotel has beautiful common places, and my room was simply amazing. Friendly staff, great amenities (I loved the pool), and remarkable cleanliness, this is why Hyatt Regency is one of the best hotels in Princeton (NJ). I hope to be back soon!

The lobby was gorgeous and the rooms are lovely, and the beds are extremely comfortable! The showers are the best too!

Great place we stayed at overnight for USTA Sectionals! Nice normal place to stay at! Cool staff and the hotel bar was good (I don't drink alcohol and I still enjoyed a decent cherry soda with my tennis friends there). I would stay at this hotel when up here again for anything in future and any Hyatt.

Beautiful hotel, very dramatic main lobby. Room service, coffee, and food was very good.

It’s a really nice hotel, just don’t stay here on a weekend night if you plan on sleeping. Loud parties and music in the ballroom carry throughout the whole building. If you want a good night’s sleep, stay elsewhere.

Nice quiet rooms with a nice pool! Gym! And free breakfast and clean.

I love the open atmosphere of the dining area! We even had birds flying overhead. Great menu with something for everyone’s tastes. Excellent service!

This hotel did not disappoint us! The pool was nice and warm, the gym was stocked with a lot of extras, and the rooms were nice and clean.

My friend and I went to Catch A Rising Star inside of the Hyatt Regency. It's a small comedy club, but we had a great time. Food and drinks were good as were the comedians.

This is a great hotel that's close to many nearby office parks in the Princeton area as well as the university. For the price, it feels like luxurious accommodations. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

Great rooms and lounge space. Beautiful all over the hotel. Awesome breakfast menu and tasteful food. Staff is very helping and interactive. The bar is also cool with nice range of drinks and snacks. Room service can be better for the big name. We changed coffee maker twice but it dint work.

We had rooms with balconies over looking the lobby. It wasn't that bad. The doors kept it pretty quite at night. We had Breakfast at the hotel. Good was ok to good and the people working there were very attentive.

Conveniently located right off of Route 1and a beautiful hotel with amenities such as complementary bicycle rental. I have stayed here a few times and always a pleasant stay and friendly service. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay. Comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast! Staff were so friendly and helpful. They even held my luggage while I ate breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen of this hotel was amazing and helped me out so much. Made my engagement very special and I thank them all for the help. Very nice place would give them 10 stars if I could. I’m sure the hotel is just as great. Highly recommended for late night dine and drink.

I always stay here for business and pleasure. I recently stayed in a corner room very nice room and space. The bathroom was exceptional, very big and spacious. One of my favorite hotels, I am a big fan of the Hyatt brand. Breakfast in the morning is made to order. Pancakes are great. Raj at the front desk is friendly, helpful and well organized. Will defiantly stay again.

Stayed here on a work trip. The hotel is big with good sized rooms. Unusually, some of the rooms overlook the central atrium where the bar and restaurant are, rather than having external views. Food in the restaurant was good, and not ridiculously overpriced. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming. Overall a good hotel I would be happy to stay at again.

The only reason for the 2 stars because the hotel is pretty big. I went here for mother’s day and stayed the night. The whole reason for this trip was to go swimming with my son. Why else would I pay a ridiculous amount of Money. I asked for a king size bed, they gave me a queen and kept telling me it was a king. (I sleep in a king bed every night, ) I know what size it’s Supposed to be. Got there Saturday night to find the pool at 70 degrees. That is much too cold to bring a baby in. I informed them and they just said they will try to fix it. I went back the next morning and it was still cold. That ruined my trip alone.

I’ve stayed at Hyatt Regency’s before and I can honestly say that each stay has been Pretty consistent to the Hyatt Brand. Nice staff, Clean rooms, easy check in and out. Although I did not order any room service or utilize their restaurant, one of our family members said it was mediocre. Lobby and inner parts could use some updating, but the rooms were modern and update. Beds were very comfortable and the staff accommodated all of our requests. I would recommend to family and friends and would stay again. We had a suite which was very nice and accommodated a small gathering of my family, with a small kitchen, dinning room and pull out sofa. The children enjoyed the pool. Only down fall is that there isn’t anything to do within walking distance. Must have a car to access.

The Hyatt Regency Princeton had an excellent floor plan for handling large group events. The staff kept on top of every need of the conference attendees had. The hotel rooms were comfortable and conveniently located close to conference events.

A friend hooked me up with a stay here using his points. I took my 3 daughters just for a night out of the city. The hotel was so nice and the girls were constantly saying how much they loved it and how "fancy" it was. The breakfast buffet in the morning was good and very comprehensive. The heated indoor pool was great. Only complaint would be the beds weren't that comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great staff, facilities, big rooms. I especially liked the bike availability. Only con was the expense occurs in "Artisan Kitchen and Lounge" restaurant inside the hotel is ineligible for 'points'.

Staff was very accommodating. Rooms are spacious. Meals at the cafe were more expensive than expected. Better off going to one of the local eateries. Would definitely go there again for hotel services.

Hotel atmosphere is really nice and enjoyablr. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Rooms are clean and well kept.

We come every year for the New Years Eve Gala. Food is always great, bartenders are attentive and remember who you are. Comedy is great. Love coming here!

VERY beautiful facilities! We went to dinner and a comedy show there and the food was great and the comedian was fantastic. Will definitely go again!

Attended their New Year's Eve party this year. Great line up of entertainers and the food was decent, though not entirely of my taste. Open bar was awesome!

4 stars for the ballroom — Went here for a company meeting in their large banquet hall and stayed one night. The ballroom held ~500 people with about 10 people per round table with a stage. The event went smoothly and it was a good venue. 3 stars for the hotel room — The hotel stay was sub par. There was a slight smell upon entering my hotel room so I tried airing out of by opening the window. The furniture and decor of the entire hotel felt outdated. The bed, bathroom and room overall were clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating but if I would choose a hotel next time, I wouldn't stay here based on the price.

I went there for an office Christmas party. The holiday decorations looked classy and welcoming. Quite easy location, away from highway traffic and peaceful. Food and Guest services were great.

Hotel management didn't let to eat or take break on time to their third party employees. They keep chasing people. I believe top management should take care of that. Maybe they don't know what is happening over their.

I attended a conference. The space is similar to all the spaces in hotels for conferences. Parking space was less than required. In the middle of New Jersey a car is necessary.

Very nice place but something about it prevents a good nights sleep. Myself and 2 fellow travelers were unable to sleep through out the night the entire stay. Food is over priced, under seasoned and over cooked. Coffee is always burnt. Appears nice from the outside but…

Simple, friendly, not TOO pricey, close to Princeton. Not at all over-the-top like they're trying too hard or something. Just about as things should be. Only hiccup was getting my card authorized and paid; Semi-hidden extra "hold/reserve" put me just over my spending limit. And that's in top of other hidden charges. Only lost a star for the typical hotel practice of hiding fees. Otherwise, very pleased with Princeton Hyatt.

We are currently staying at the Hyatt now for a wedding and absolutely love it! The rooms are cozy and big. The staff are amazing. I will definitely return here.

The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Requested a handicap room for my 90 year old grandmother because she has trouble walking they give her a room on the 4th floor at the end of the hallway away from the elevator. My brother was offered a military discount because he is in the usmc. They charged him $40 more than what he was quoted at. My debit card was charged twice for the same room I stayed in and my card was charged $59 extra that I didn’t authorize at the buffet called the hotel to try and resolve my issues I was transferred from line to line to line hung up on twice and was told no one could do anything because the manager was not there. Let not forget the wedding favor bags I left for my guest that stayed at the same hotel were not given to all my guest. Reservations for my guest were not there wrong rooms were given to people who asked for a king bed they were given a room with twin beds pissed off doesn’t even begin to describe my experience here I would never recommend this hotel to anyone id say park you car and sleep in it and it would probably be a better experience
That was as of 2 weeks ago update im still missing about $150 but dont worry now that im back from my honey moon I will personally be going there tomorrow so a manger better be working no more of this beating around the bush.

I stayed at the Hyatt in Princeton New Jersey. I booked a room and was informed the room with the double bed was not available and I would have to settle for a king bed and sleeper sofa instead. Then they charged my card before check out. And then charged me a additional $50 more then my room rate was. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hyatt Regency Princeton is an amazing place to host an event. The staff is incredible, the rooms are awesome and the food is delicious! Definitely recommend them!

Loved it! My husband and I visited this location the weekend of September 9th and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is really pretty, elegant, clean and has a relaxing feel to it. Our room was great! The staff was very nice and helpful. We ate at the hotel's restaurant twice during our stay and Farrah, our server/bartender was awesome! The food was good, prices were good. We really liked the atmosphere at their bar area (the tables behind the bar). It felt really cozy and intimate. We also took advantage of the hotel pool during our stay, took a nice walk outside by the little garden area and we especially enjoyed looking at the koi pond inside the hotel itself. All in all we had a great time, thank you!

I went for a job interview. It was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and beautiful and the employees were very nice.

I visited for a wedding. The ballroom and catering were great, and the workers were willing to delay closing time to allow us to party more. 5/5 would recommend :)

I am staying at the Hyatt in Princeton New Jersey my family. I booked a room and was informed the room with the double bed and sleeper sofa was not available and I would have to settle for a king bed and sleeper sofa instead. I was disappointed but tired so I did not argue. When I got to my room and opened the door I was surprised to see others already occupied the room. Had my family wait while the front desk got me another room. After 15 minutes they assigned me the room setup we originally requested. While my children slept we had someone walk in on us. All the hotel offers for your troubles is something to drink. # halfnaked, # horrible experience.

I attended the Hyatt Regency Princeton for one night and that was enough. It was a great experience. The staff was great, the rooms were nice, and the hotel was just beautiful.

Beautiful hotel. The service at check in and out were a little lacking. Bartender was super friendly. Overall decent stay.

Nice lobby, passed the ballroom which seems like it would be good for events. Our room did not have a fridge, and the sink was clogged, and the noise insulation was not very good — we could easily hear hallway conversations (I think there was a large crack under the door). Water pressure and heat was good for the shower, our room was also otherwise clean and comfortable.

Suckiest 4 star hotel you will ever come across in the world. They attempted to update hotel in the bargain basement cheap budget. Classic case of lipstick on a pig. Food blows too. Worse than diner food at 4 star prices. Also do t try to check in at 9 pm. You will be waiting for 30 min like I did. This hotel is a bust and a complete dinosaur. Stay clear.

Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms and suites with ample parking. An extensive and tasty room service menu, nightly entertainment, and large communal seating area that is visible from nearly every side of the hotel. Huge banquet room. Not 5 stars because I could not gauge customer service over the 2 days.

Every year my family books a private room for Easter Brunch and every year they Hyatt never fails to impress! The food is always fantastic and there is always an extremely wide variety of food that changes a bit each and every year! Overall its fantastic!

Lovely staff and excellent package for wedding ceremony. Rooms were well maintained and the space was huge. Will consider them for future events as well.

I was there for a professional event. They had conference rooms ready for us, all prepared, served a delicious breakfast, had snacks and treats coffee and tea all ready. For tea, there was a variety from which to choose. Snacks included fruit and grain products. They served a buffet lunch. Each time I have been there, the food was really delicious. Salad, soup, entrees, and dessert. The serving staff were excellent, and very helpful with special requests They do very good work!

I recently both stayed at this hotel and had a very large event here. I will say that in over 20 years in the event industry, this may be the best staff I've ever worked with. The hotel is impeccably maintained and absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant genuinely stunned me, and its range of both affordable and high-end options was deeply appreciated by both myself and my attendees, especially given that this is a Princeton establishment. From the excellent customer service at the front desk, to the incredible sales staff, to the decor, to the support given to my group, I'd have to say this is arguably the best venue I've ever worked with.

I travel to Princeton often for work. My company has a building here in the Carnegie Center, so this hotel is my go-to when I travel up here. It's usually quiet, unless a comedian is at the comedy club or an event is taking place, and the rooms are very accommodating. I only wish there were microwaves in the rooms, so I could heat up left overs when I am staying for days at a time. It is close to shopping centers, and a short drive from downtown Princeton, near the University. I prefer this to the other hotels in the immediate area to the Carnegie Center because of its amenities, such as Starbucks Coffee, Tazo tea, and excellent customer service.

Front of the house staff seemed inconvenienced by reasonable requests such as, "may I have a coffee cup please". The entire hotel was booked for our private event, Nice venue, expensive rooms, Starbucks in the rooms, don't drink the bottled water in your room unless you want to pay five dollars, quiet surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and helpful back of house staff (room service and maintenance were so nice! ) The water in the women's bathroom on 1 was too hot to use safely. Expect to pay for coffee if you are a more than 1 cup a day drinker. Plenty of parking.

Stayed for two nights, first was OK, the second night all guests with internal balconies enjoyed subbufer drumms of Indian wedding through the midnight! Two attempts to reach front desk ended with " please wait a moment" forever holds. Came down to complain in person — the offered to change the room at midnight (with my son and wife in bed already). I bet the event did not came by surprise to them but no warning or suggesting was made at check in.

Staff are nice. Place is nicely done and well decorated. Just some of the rooms on the first floor have a balcony that faces the interior of the hotel so there is a lack of. Privacy. Overall good experience.

We went during the Wicked Renaissance Faire. The rooms are very nicely maintained, the service was there when needed. The hotel is right along a highway, so its hard to miss. The only possible issue I can forsee is both this year and last year, the elevators were sometimes out of order, but its to be expected with an event like Wicked. I would highly recommend this place if you ever need to stop in New Jersey.

This review is based on staying there for a convention, so some of this may be special event stuff. I LOVE this hotel! The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of during our yearly convention. The layout us a little odd, but that really only poses a problem when the entire place is packed. The bar is pretty good, if a little pricey ($12 for wine? Ouch. ) The restaurant leaves something to be desired. The buffet was $17 and food was mediocre at best. The desserts were good, and the fact that you can eat anytime between 5 and 10 is super nice.

Clean rooms but noisy neighbors. We ordered room service for breakfast (took about 45 minutes) and it was pretty good. Would definitely stay again.

It's conveniently located by us 1. The rooms are of decent size. There is a a pool and an exercise area accessible to the guests.

Much less expensive than Nassau Inn and much nicer. Now that Uber exists in Princeton, there's no excuse for staying at the Nassau Inn. It's about a seven minute drive from campus.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. The rooms were very large. Our room had a couch area at the entrance and then two beds in the back. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The staff is curteous and professional at all times, nearly immediately attended to issue within my room. All super polite, from the receptionist to handyman. Classy, clean, comfortable and quiet. Love the comedy club in the hotel. That combo makes easy to arrange for a relaxing night away from home. Go for a stroll around the university in the afternoon and make it a perfect date!

Great hotel, friendly staff… I can't even thank the manager enough, they upgraded our room to an amazing sweet for no reason other than to be nice! I loved my stay there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are large and spacious. Lighting is inadequate; bathroom lighting is too dim to properly shave or apply makeup and the bedroom only has three small lamps rather than an overhead light. Interior-facing rooms are particularly dim as they don't have windows facing outside to allow sunlight. Interior-facing rooms are also incredibly loud — the hotel's speakers are along the ceiling and "background music" is louder in one's room than it is in the lobby. Moreover, voices from the lobby, restaurant, and bar carry and reflect off the glass ceiling making rooms very loud well into the night — we had to complain twice after midnight. Staff didn't seem to care.

Only stayed here for one night, but it was a good experience. All of the staff I interacted with was very helpful, and the facility is really nice. More details: *Check-in was prompt. *The gym is small but well-equipped — they even have cold towels and fresh fruit. I didn't have a chance to try the swimming pool, but it looked nice as well. *The restaurant in the atrium is good for a hotel restaurant: service was great and the food was pretty good, if a bit pricey. *My room was spacious and quiet. *Bathroom is awesome, especially in the amenities — they give a medium-sized tube of toothpaste! *The shuttle service was prompt for me, but book it ahead if you want to count on it being available. (It was available when I needed to leave, but not to pick me up from the train station).

This hotel is actually pretty nice. The rooms are well sized, comfortable and ours had a small balcony. The trouble is with the staff. Every single front desk staff that we spoke with was rude and pompous. Not sure how someone in the hospitality industry thinks that treating customers poorly will be beneficial, but these guys are apparently very convinced it will work for them. Unfortunately what you pay for is not what you get at the Hyatt Regency.
