Amazing! It was like taking a walk back in time. I highly recommend it!

I had a delightful stay at the Inn at Glencairn. Everything was a wonderful! The room, the common areas, the hospitality, the fabulous breakfast and the wonderful cookies in the great room! I highly recommend the Inn for anyone wanting to pamper themselves! It was a truly restorative stay.

The inn was amazing! The whole place had a beautiful, rustic feeling, mainly because it's been around since the 1700s, but it's incredibly well keept and impeccably cleaned. The atmosphere was amazing and the woman who runs the place is legitimately one of the kindest people I've ever met.

Great place for a stay in the Princeton area. Excellent breakfast and old world charm.

This was the cutest place! The room was so cozy, the amenities were modern for such an old house. The breakfast was my favorite part with great conversation and gourmet meal to start the day. Lydia was a fabulous host.

This is an adorable quaint spot where my boyfriend and I visited and celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Lydia was lovely — hospitable and helpful and her breakfast was AMAZING! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to completely enjoy the property, but we did spend a cozy night in the barn drinking wine and playing Scrabble :) I would love to return for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend!

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a night at the Inn on Sept 18 and 19. We found the Inn on the web. We were just looking for a place to spend our final night of a long driving trip, and preferred something special, as opposed to a chain hotel. We hit the jackpot! The Inn is located in a beautiful country setting not far from Princeton NJ, and offers a comfortable, welcoming environment. Parking on-site. We arrived late on the 18th and had the good fortune to meet Lydia, the Innkeeper, who greeted us like we were family! After settling in to our very spacious and comfortable room, we spent some time unwinding from our drive in the parlor, where wine, coffee, tea, and great chocolate cookies were offered. Aside from being a wonderful host, Lydia is an incredible chef, so, don't miss the breakfast! We look forward to spending a long weekend at the Inn this fall. It is well worth it!

The Inn was beautiful and the innkeeper was extremely nice. I feel like running a bed and breakfast was perfect for her given that she was both pleasant as an innkeeper and an exceptional chef. I was not expecting anywhere near the gourmet level of her breakfast so it was a nice surprise in the morning.

Still missing this place! We stayed at the inn July 2016 coming from Florida to visit family and friends. Loved the history and beauty of the inn. So comfortable and homey plus Lydia is fabulous! Her breakfasts are to die for! Not to mention while we were there we were also celebrating our 10 year anniversary and Lydia made an amazing dinner and dessert for us in the barn. Wine, candlelight and such a beautiful setting! We plan to stay at the inn every time we go up from now on… unfortunately not frequent enough! Can't forget to mention the sheets… they were the softest sheets ever! Still planning on calling to order a set for home!

We had an awesome experience the first time we stayed for a couple of days last year with Lydia. We called to reserve a room again a couple of days ago for just one night and it was a new person on the phone, Teresa, that was covering for Lydia. We told her that we loved our stay last time and gave Lydia our business card so she knows who we are when we come again. We told Teresa to greet Lydia from us and that we are sad she isn't there to cook her delicious breakfast. They charged our credit card for the amount and were expecting us today. We drove out all the way to Princeton from Manhattan and played some golf near by and were just on the way to the Inn when Teresa called to check in when we are arriving. 5minutes after that call I receive another call from Teresa saying that all the sudden we are not welcome anymore with our service dogs that stayed with us the last time. She told us that she just checked with Lydia about our stay, even though I told her to check who we were before, because Lydia should have recognized us with our service dogs. Teresa said that we are no longer welcome there because our service dogs damaged the property, which in no way they did and we would have payed for any damages if they would have done just the slightest thing. Allegedly, Lydia talked to us at the end of our stay, which she did not. We wouldn't have called in and identify ourselves if that would have been the case. Now at 6.20pm we have to find ourselves a different hotel/inn.

Very romantic location with an incredibly courteous staff. The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast then next morning was the perfect start to the day.

I really went into this with blind trust. Being from NYC my standards for accommodations are higher than most and my food ratings could seem brutal to some. The pictures of the Inn, in their site, were elegant and Lydia was on her game when I booked. I was trusting her! She shared with me that she was a chef and that if I wanted, she could provide, as an Inn guest, a special private Chef dinning experience in the onsite barn!
This is where the trust really came in. She said she was a very good chef and could design a 3 course meal with me…
I'm thinking, alone in a barn with twinkly lights and crickets and a warm breeze, even if the meal was so so, I'd be happy anyway!
Upon our arrival it was clear that the Inn was even lovelier than on line, all the way down to the yummy sheets and toll house fresh made chocolate chip cookies!
My husband had no idea we were eating in the barn and even commented on how lovely it looked for the affair they must be hosting. When I ushered him in and asked him if he'd care to join me for dinner, his mouth dropped open. There was a printed menu with his name on it, the table was set with white cloth and silver and frankly it was like a wedding atmosphere. But, BUT! THE FOOD! This woman can cook! We started with this fresh gorgeously presented salad with a hint of flower pedals, mind you, and an avocado vinaigrette… soooo delish '. She made us a roast beef that made me cry.

A superb establishment! The place is over 200 years old and has been maintained well. Inside feels very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty!

This is one of the most perfect stays away from home I've ever had. The Inn at Glencarin near Lawrenceville and Princeton, NJ is absolutely lovely. Everything from the comfort of the rooms, which are impeccably clean and lovingly cared for to the perfect location between such beautiful towns such as Princeton, Lawrenceville, Pennington and Lambertville. So much to do and see in these areas! I was so fortunate to meet Terese upon arriving at the Inn. What a jewel she is! I immediately felt at home as Terese welcomed me to the Inn. There always seems to be a jar full of homemade cookies in the great room, herbal teas of every kind and lovely choices of wine. Breakfast was a culinary delight every morning, and if truth be told, Terese's breakfasts were the best meals I ate during my 3 day stay! Tomorrow I am anxious to meet the owners of this lovely Inn so I can share with them the wonderful experience I had here at the Inn at Glencarin. If you find yourself in this area, do not waste your money at a hotel, treat yourself to a stay here. You will not regret it one bit.

At the last minute, we decided to stay during our day trip to Princeton and so glad that we did! We had such a warm welcome. The place is so cozy and the remainder of the snow outside made it even more picturesque. The room was beautiful, clean and there was also complimentary water and waffle dressing gowns. There was a really helpful local restaurant list provided on arrival — Nomad Pizza is a must! After a lovely meal out in Hopewell, we were welcomed back with the smell of freshly made cranberry and pecan cookies. Breakfast was wonderful in the morning.

The inn was lovely and tastefully decorated. The innkeepers were very nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to both Princeton and Lawrenceville.

VERY comfortable accommodation, wonderfully hospitable staff, and beautiful location! I really enjoyed the conversations with the innkeepers — — we even enjoyed a little bit of time in nearby Princeton together.

This is a nice B&B. The rooms are big, not always a given at B&Bs. The three acre grounds provide a pleasant spot for an evening stroll. Good food and friendly innkeepers round it all out. They got a lot of details right — like a good selection of quality teas. There was a bottle of wine on the sideboard if you cared for a glass. Easy quick access to Princeton.
