Nice and clean hotel. Friendly and helpfull staff. Was there for business. Never heard the airplanes. Slept good. Bed was very comfortable. Nice pool area and fitness center. Thank you for a relaxing stay. I needed it. Becky.

Very disappointed that bar/restaurant is closed. Here specifically for cocktails before our flight out tomorrow morning. Will stay elsewhere next time. Really lucky we ate at McDonalds before we checked in.

Website doesn't say they closed the bar and grill. The staff will scream at and disrespect your children about wrist bands without consulting the parents. Then proceed to threaten to kick you out of the hotel after you confront them about their unprofessionalism… The staff walks around reprema from my everything you do and don't do correctly. It's like staying in a minimum security prison. Not at all what we paid over $200 for to sleep one night and enjoy a pool and jacuzzi. Never again!

The hotel really needs a full renovation. The air conditioning unit leaked badly, soaking clothes. Hotel room was dank and had an odor. Was not very clean.

The room is so clean and large. The food is good. The Whirlpool was so relaxing.

Stayed there for a 10U boys baseball tournament. Most of our boys ended up with chemical burns and painful urination from the excessive chlorine in the pool. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but the management was condescending and tried to avoid taking any incident reports until we contacted their corporate office. When the manager taking my son’s information recognized my name as the group organizer, he had the audacity to say, “well we had a lot of complaints last night about the boys running around the second floor. ” I’m sorry, but you are one of the hotels listed on the tournament organizers site that we were required to book through. If you don’t want rowdy 9 and 10 year olds running around your hotel, maybe you should not be one of the participating hotels. The Aviator Restarant is very good. The hotel experience was awful.

Were told parking was free. Arrived to a daily charge of parking.

I work in the home Depot at night doing maintenance and I always try and get as close to them as I can I'd would most definitely be back here and stay great staff and very friendly and do their best to make your stay stress free I feel at home.

We've been staying at this hotel for years, especially when we have an early flight the next morning. They have a great restaurant and lounge to enjoy the night before, a hot breakfast is included, and there's a 24hr airport shuttle. The rate to stay and park saves us so much money on the parking fees we would already have incurred at the airport. Their staff is always friendly and welcoming. A++.

Nice clean room. Even though reservations were made for 4 people in a double queen room, there were only bath towels and shampoo for 2 people, but I must say that was not a problem thanks to one of the ladys that cleans the rooms, and happened to be outside of our room; I told her about our situation and happily gave us more towels and toiletries! I also have to say they have a very nice complementary breakfast, nice food selection, hot and ready for you to enjoy! The waiters and waitresses were fantastic, fast service and friendly! Will definitely go back in the future.

Nice place to stay. Breakfast was in a attached restaurant included. Becky at the front desk was very helpful. We discussed the topic of early check in & Being Dirty or not. All in all, nice place to stay for the ethnic festivals on the lakefront.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Neat and clean. We stayed in a recently remodeled room. Informed the front desk of an issue with the bathroom sink. The water was not going down the drain. Not only did they say they would send someone from maintenance right away but offered to relocate us to another room which was not needed as we were leaving for awhile but definitely appreciated. When we returned, the sink was fixed!

Warning us that the entire hotel was under renovation would have been nice upon checking in. We woke up to a jack hammer at the wall at 8am (not even close to checkout time). My boyfriend called to ask if there were renovations going on next to us because it was way to early. The lady on the phone scoffed and said "it's the entire hotel! " and hung up on him. The bathroom floor was sticky and mopped with a sour mop. I couldn't stand to walk on the carpets they were so moist. The shower rod fell twice while I was just standing in the bathroom (not even touching it). Children ran up and down the halls beating on people's doors as a joke. But, these were just some of the smaller issues… We stayed here for a weekend for a friends wedding. More than half of everyone was charged twice for their weekend stays. The bride then felt obligated to stand at the hotel counter until all of her friends checked out because it was such a big issue. The card on file the bride had to give in order to save a few extra rooms, was charged in full before the check in date, and then the manager of the hotel gave HER a hard time about it. This took thousands of her dollars leaving her with nothing on wedding day. The hotel had signed a contract with her making promises they did not keep. One being setting up a few tables at the breakfast buffet for her friends to have breakfast the morning after the wedding. Later to find out "they were not allowed" even though they said they could.

I booked this room as a “distressed Traveler” since flights had been canceled and I was stranded. I wasn’t sure what I was in for, but it was to my surprise it was a lovely hotel. The transportation from the airport to the hotel was friendly, prompt and a clean shuttle. There were some renovations going on however nothing that affected my stay. You could tell how fresh and new everything was. The front desk was so helpful to me I was given a free drink at the restaurant. The restaurant food was very good large portions reasonable prices. The pool was so comfortable as far as temperature wise and what a wonderful hot tub. I would stay here again when I come back to Milwaukee with my family. Wonderful staff, every experience was positive from front desk, to restaurant to housekeeping. Pool was clean and well kept. Hotel was mid renovation so although common areas weren't in amazing shape, I think that will be changing soon. Lots of great options for breakfast, but I wish there were more dairy-free hot options (cheese was in all eggs except the cold hard boiled variety). Also, I wish ingredients were better marked on the dinner menu. All in all, though a great stay.

I love this hotel. The rooms are always excellent, and even though they're doing renovations, it doesn't get in the way of the wonderful experience. They have a delicious hot breakfast that offers a great variety, and the staff is very helpful. I'm most definitely staying here again.

We would highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant and breakfast was awesome. It had more variety than we have ever experienced before for the continental breakfast. Their staff was very friendly from check in to, check out even the shuttle driver was awesome, super friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we fly out of MKE.

The location is quieter than I thought it would be for being located next to the air port. The decor is a little dated but their currently undergoing a refresh out the paint and other finishes. Breakfast was good. Perry standard faire compared to other hotel breakfast. We didn't get the opportunity to try the pool or hot tub but they did look inviting. Overall is was a nice stay and we would stay here again.

These guys were great. Quick … easy… so polite. Made business travel fast and pleasant. 5 days gone and they got me to and from the airport fast and conflict free… going here again hands down.

Overall, very clean. Rooms very nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Shuttle to the airport was clean, driver was professional and courtesy. The two issues I had was the toilet in our room was like very, very low to the floor which was weird and I didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or pool, because it closed at 10pm and I arrived late. The hrs were 8am — 10pm. They should consider opening the pool and hot tub earlier and later for adults. That was disappointing. However they offered complementary snacks, water and coffee, and papers in the morning. I would stay here again.

Nothing special but no significant complaints. Not the cleanest room I've seen. Perfect for flying as parking is included. Quick shuttle to the airport and the drivers we had were both very nice.

This hotel was good and bad. The bed was terrible… do not stay here if you want to sleep. Not only was the bed terrible (shaped like a U), but the fan rattled all night long and maintenance was painting the room directly next to ours so the smell was horrendous. Why would you put guests next to a room that was being painted? The good was the service we received from our waiter in the restaurant. He was phenomenal! The bartenders should take notes because they were terrible. I sat down and the one lady ignored me and then waited on the couple who sat down after me (and sat right next to me). Then I wanted another drink at dinner and was going to pay cash and the other bartender said I needed to tell my waiter! Why? I'm standing here ready to order and give you cash, what difference does it make who I tell?

This place is due for a make over they had signs saying they are about improve would love to see it. Hated there was no parking for the hotel guests… the hotel leases parking spots for people flying out of town. So that makes it bad for guest that stay in hotel… the breakfast was awesome. The rooms were so bad my stay was aweful. Also they have pool parties too which made for a bad experience in the pool as a hotel guest… I hope all of these extra ways to make money improves the hotel…

Great pool and breakfast Buffett. Mattresses are old as is the general decor. Nightly $ charge for room safe that isn't mentioned until check out, which is pretty lame. Very nice staff but building shows signs of age. Not up to BW Plus standards or price point.

My family had a good stay overall. We stayed for one night before catching a flight the next morning. The beds were comfortable, the staff were nice, and the free breakfast was great. I was hoping to get a rollaway bed for my 3 year old but was given a Pack n Play instead which he’s a little big for so he didn’t have the greatest night sleep. But other than that, it was fine for what you pay for. I personally didn’t use it, but they have a free airport shuttle. I recommend this hotel for a short stay before or after a flight at MKE.

The Best Western "Plus" Milwaukee Airport is a run-down, worn-out, dated, carcass of a hotel. We chose Best Western Plus MKE Airport for it's pool and extended parking options (we were flying south for vacation). Problems and frustrations started from the moment we arrived. Our room, was on the third floor. During check-in, the front desk staff said few words and none of them described where the elevator or stairwell was, nor where our room was located. The tiny, dil…apidated elevator is hidden at the far reach of the hotel and there were few, if any, signs directing to where the elevator was from the front desk, nor did we get a map of the facility showing where our room was. The hallway carpets were stained and deteriorated; the laminate flooring in front of the elevator was cracked and worn through to the cardboard underneath. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with the unrelenting orange light of a sodium vapor lamp immediately outside our window. We tried closing the "blackout" drapes, but even they could not stop the piercing light. Further inspection of the room revealed more shortcomings. The bed felt 10 years past its prime — like sleeping on a pile of rocks on top of a trampoline. The furnishings and finishes looked like they came from Grandma's house and showed many years of wear. There was water damage on the bottom of the doors. The bathroom sink would barely drain. The heater/air conditioner unit rattled and droned.

We had a sleep and ride. We arrived at 330 pm and we had the last parking stall for the night. People coming in after that had to drive to another hotel to park and shuttle back. When we came back we called the hotel to pick us up and told him we were at the International terminal. They said the Shuttle just came back and will be there in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later still no shuttle. Call back and was told he was on his way. It came down to two people left and they were also waiting for the shuttle. SHE CALLED THREE TIMES I heardher tell them the Internationalization, finally it came 45 minutes after we call. He said they never told himthem we were at the International. Some guest we talked with that night did not have hot water and sewer back up in room too I will be calling management but I truly do not be level it will do any good I rate them a, 1star.

Restaurant great, but hotel management refused to let me book a room due to disability related issues. Other Best Western hotels more than helpful accepting my hotel reservations and more than accommodating me however. Would not recommend this hotel if you have special needs, but as I mentioned above, restaurant staff is more than accommodating.

We spent the night at this Best Western before trip we were taking out of Mitchell Field. Because there was a snowstorm we wanted to be close to the airport. Everything was great including the front desk service, the shuttle over to the Airport, and the little continental breakfast that they had waiting that consisted of coffee oatmeal, some fruit, just enough to get us by at 5 in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable and the meal we had in the restaurant at the Hotel was very good. I would stay at this hotel again or recommend it to others.

Very close to the airport, with a park and fly option and shuttles to the airport. I think they are about to undergo renovations, which will help. It's a bit dated, but well maintained. Lighting in bathroom could be better. Comfy beds. I appreciated the microwave and fridges in my room.

I recently visited for a social gathering, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and modern, and was overall an excellent time. The restaurant/bar area especially had great staff and the food was great!

Truly an excellent value. Perhaps only a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton should get an excellent rating. I’ve stayed at both chains on business and they’re certainly superior. However, dollar for dollar, this hotel is up there with them. Very attentive staff cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Fresh fruit water and cookies in the lobby. Almost Olympic size pool heated to bath water which my wife loved and a toasty large spa to soak my sore aches. For business folks, they have a 100 person auditorium and lots of conference suites. Free breakfast a true buffet like a real restaurant. Wow. We couldn’t believe this place wasn’t packed. It used to be the old Midway Motor Lodge when we lived here years ago… so I think it may still have an unfavorable reputation from those days. But new management are doing a superb job. I actually hesitated to write this post because it’s a very very affordable internet rate right now — but once people start to discover this place again — they could certainly justify higher prices. We’ll be back. I’ll have to renew my Best Western rewards card. Typically we’re Hilton lovers staying at Hampton Inns.

The hotel was fantastic outside of the rooms. Event area, restaurants and meeting rooms were wonderful. The food in the restaurant is extremely good. The sleeping rooms could do with some updates. The bathtub wouldnt drain and the air conditioning didn't work. We reported this to the front desk on our first day, we were in the hotel for 3 days and the tub was still full and the room stifling hot when we left. With some updates to their rooms, and front desk staff that follows up on issues, it could be an amazing hotel.

My husband stayed here for an event at the hotel and was very pleased with the hotel. Beds were the best of any hotel we have stayed at in the last 5 years. Not too hard not too soft. Rooms were clean and of good value. Continental breakfast was good abd staff were very friendly.

Our skydiving club hosts its annual holiday party here every year, and it's always delightful. Clean, spacious, and comfortable banquet space. Good catering. Friendly staff. Discounted rooms for our members. Fun stuff!

I am a traveling nurse and this hotel meets all of my needs and then some. The rooms are clean, the staff are great, the food in the restaurant/bar/grill is amazing. Breakfast buffet is pretty good most morning. Well stocked and always fresh. Great swimming pool.

The place was very clean and well organized. And the staff was very helpful and responsive to any question that my wife and I had. We didn't stay in a room but if the hall area is any indication of what the rooms are like that I don't see any issue in staying at a Best Western.

Nice budget hotel with indoor pool & jacuzzi. Full game room & Phenomenal breakfast buffet! Great location that's Close to Airport & tons of restaurants! The service at the front desk was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with a smile.

I was charged $250 for smoking in the room. When I called and asked about it they said the room smelled like marijuana and was smokey. Now I did bring marijuana in that room I did, but I did not smoke it. The most I did was break it down and roll it up. I then left the room the hotel and smoked it. I did NOT smoke in that room. So yes the room did smell like marijuana, but no it was not smokey that is 100% honest to God truth. I did not smoke in that room. They are taking money from me. They have no evidence other then 2 people saying it was smoking no pictures no video nothing. If I did smoke in that room the whole floor would smell. The marijuana brought into that room was very good marijuana. These people who are accusing me of lying must not smoke. Witch is ok good for you, but who are they to say I smoked if they don't know the first thing about how it smells when it's lit up?! The rule is no smoking… I didn't smoke. On top of that the sign says $150 charge.

Staff was awesome. Excellent service. Room was spotless. Property was well kept. Onsite sports bar was great. Friendly bartender and food was very good.

Staff was nice. Am here for Brew City Book Signing. Carpets are dirty, (feet get black if your barefoot. ) Breakfast ham is dry from sitting so long. Loved the fruit selection at breakfast. The eggs were runny which I am NOT a fan of. Our room was on the opposite side of the ballroom. Nice ballroom. Muggy inside when the weather is rainy and if you aren't under direct A. C. Our friends room had BLACK mold… This hotel has potential but need serious TLC.

My husband sister and I traveled from FL for a memorial service of a recently passed member. We stopped in to the Aviator for lunch after arriving at MKE. The grown up grill cheese sandwich was fantastic and the burger and sweet potato fries were great. Jessica, our bartender, was very polite and made my mudslide drink to perfection. Jessica, we wanted to share this review and make everyone aware that you handled the bar and dining area by yourself with grace and precision. Very convenient to stay and fly. Shuttle service is very good service and reliable. Nice to leave your car and not worry about it. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is great!

Good location, awesome breakfast. I needed extra blankets in the middle of the night, and although they didn't have anymore blankets available, the desk attendant was nice enough to bring me several sheets, which worked in a pinch. Kind staff, clean room. What more do you need?

I was here as a hotel guest and also attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and a wedding reception catered through the hotel. All of the hotel catered food was delicious and well prepared. The conference room for the reception was very adequate in size and the facility was very nice. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The beds are soft and comfortable. There are a lot of in-room amenities — complimentary coffee, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, etc. There's a computer area downstairs open to the hotel patrons. Everything you would expect from a nice hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Very nice pool and hot tub area. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of selection and tasted good. Very nice dining area/restaurant/bar. I will stay here again when I visit Milwaukee on my next trip to Milwaukee, but also would recommend it to anyone interested in using it for a wedding reception, large group outing and large or small business meetings, etc.

Better than it appears from the outside. Carpets in the hallways are super outdated but this hotel has a sweet pool area and a symposium where we walked by and home alone was playing in there. It was great. They also have a shuttle to and from the airport so that was nice.

Room 245 has bed bugs. The hotel management is a joke. They tell house keeping to still clean the room and kill the bugs because they are gonna have a full house. Gross. When you over hear a manager say "I'm going to promote my sister to supervisor because these other people aren't qualified and my sister doesn't have the same last name so no one will know. " what a great way to run thos establishment. I have no problems saying names of managers on here. Please inspect your rooms if you stay here.

Overall a good a experience. Good: Staff was very friendly and the shuttle service was as advertised. Rooms were clean, TV service was outstanding, bed was comfortable. Breakfast on the go is available for early departures. Bad: Adjoining room door did not seem secure and the dead bolt didn't engage. Walls are quite thin. Wi-Fi was exceptionally slow.

Hotel seemed somewhat dated and just felt kind of a mess. The lobby was nice. The rooms were ok. The hallways and elevators were a wreck and seemed like they could have used plenty of upgrades. If you are looking for a place to sleep for fairly cheap and don't care what it looks like, this would work. If you are looking for quality appearance, this isn't the best choice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant/Bar were pretty decent. Food was pretty good. The beds were ok, but not great. Overall, I don't think I would stay here again.

Very nice staff. Overall very much a good place to stay. My grandchildren loved the pool. I however thought the pool was way over heated. I will stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very 1st night we noticed right away that the sink in our bathroom was not working. Called lobby that night hoping they would get to it the next morning. Called in a friendly reminder again in the morning before we left for the whole day. Got back at 10:30PM & sink was still not fixed. Went downstairs & was told there is no maintenance worker at night but someone would be up with 20 minutes to try to plunge the sink. No one ever came. The whole time we had to wash our hands, wash our faces, & brush our teeth in the bathtub because sink never was fixed & was full of water. We also couldn't use the hair dryer because it is right next to our water filled broken sink. Manager (Millard) & staff (Mila & Jocelyn) were all very friendly, helpful, & apologetic this morning when we checked out & gave us a decent discount for the inconvenience. Breakfast buffet is great & has eggs, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, sausage, oatmeal, pastries, juices, fresh fruits, tea, & coffee. Staff working at the breakfast buffet were very nice & dining manager goes to every table making sure everyone is enjoying. Very close to the expressway so location is great. 5 stars for location, breakfast, & friendliness of staff. 2 stars for maintenance because our bathroom sink, the washing machine, & ATM were all broken the whole time we were there. Worth staying here but don't expect something to be fixed if something in your room is broken.

Pleasantly surprised. My family stayed here for 2 days. Great pool area, has restaurant on-site, breakfast was good except the pancakes which each morning stuck to the bottom of the pan. Would stay again. Would bring PAM cooking spray.

After cancellation of my flight to Boston, I found my way to BW — Milwaukee Conference Center. The hotel was sold out, but Joseph and his staff found accommodations for all. His professional manner and positive attitude calmed many upset travelers. The front staff made sure all needs were met with speed and positivity. My room was clean and comfortable, and check-out was fast.

The service at this hotel is amazing, shuttle drop off and pick up from the airport, breakfast was the best hotel breakfast Ive ever had. Rooms are good quality. This is an amazing hotel for the price. Our car died during our stay and they even had a jump pack for us to use. Will definitely stay here again. Also the 12 pm check out time is great.

Check in process was easy and the host was very welcoming. The breakfast is good and once you include the pool and hot tub, the hotel is a great value. Be aware that the guest rooms surrounding the pool are quite loud during the day and evening because of the heavy pool activity.

Not a hotel to go to if you got kids. If you get one complaint they call the cops. Yea the manager gave me a warning but did not notify me that she did call the cops. If it is policy she should have told me im sorry but I have to notify police of this. I didnt argue with her or nothing. So that was uncalled for. Then the room next to mine had music playing it was already 11:00. Should call the cops on them too then. Im never staying in milwaukee hotels again. Had bad experience at everyone anyway. Good luck if you pick this place.

Messy and infested room and the ac didnt work the worst $93 I ever spent. Breafast is horrible no flavor but great selection. Comfortable bed nice size tv.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can give them even a 2 star review. If a hotel doesn't have comfortable beds why would anyone want to sleep their? These beds get zero stars. The first room they put us in the beds sagged so bad you could see the sagging. They move our room after we unpacked and the next room had one decent bed however the other bed was horrible. You can feel the metal in the mattress its so bad. I don't see the point in reviewing anything else. Don't stay here the beds are Horrible. Lots of airport hotels you can pick.

Looks can be deceiving! The hotel n rooms are beautiful! The pool is absolutely disgusting! At night looking in the lights u can actually see the debri floating in and on top the water. The manager said they clean it every morning… yeah right! The next morning I could still see all the same crap that was there the night before… n globs of hair on the tile walking around the pool. That n the whirlpool are just petri dishes. The hottub CLEARLY states no one under 12… yeah right n the hotel staff NEVER checks. Parking… what parking? U have to put a sign in ur window if ur a guest. I noticed cars parked there that weren't checking in for 2 or more days from now… so if ur an actual paying staying guest… ur outta luck! We had to park on the street! I mean REALLY! Highly doubt I would ever stay here again. Like I said… beautiful but one big petri dish with no parking n no hotel supervision in pool area. I've stayed at sooooo many BWs across the country n this is definitely at the bottom of my list! Next time I'm in Milwaukee… it won't be here.
