Great complex and well managed. This is our 20th plus stay over many years. Full marks to Fernando for keeping the apartments to the very best standards. I would hesitate to recommend Flor do Vale.
Nice place and very welcoming owner. We would recommend a car in order to get around. It is possible to walk to the beach (less than 2 km). Many nice beaches and hikes nearby.
When we arrived at janelas do mar we were told there was construction so there would be noise during the day. They offered to move us to one of there sister hotels, oura atlantico.
The apartments are basic but very very clean. The cleaning staff did not miss anything. It was very well equipped for cooking. We had 2 single beds which were fine.
These apartments are perfect if you just want to mind your own bussiness and get on with your holiday, my friend and I are not the type to sit around the pool we just wanted a base to the beach
