Algar Seco Parque is a fantastic holiday destination. We stayed in a Catrineta Suite, which was very clean, spacious and had fantastic views of the sea. The resort was very quiet and relaxed.

This was the most perfect place for our family holiday! Do not hesitate to book if you want a relaxing, interesting place to go on holiday.

We had a fantastic week here. Every member of the staff team was helpful, friendly and efficient. The apartments were clean and spacious.

A beautiful stay as always. This was our fourth time at VDO and we will never get bored of coming here. My family and I really enjoy our stays and they get better every time.

I’ve been coming to Carvoeiro for the last twenty years with family and friends and often wondered what the Plaza was like.

This is a supreme location right by the Plaza in Carvoeiro. The beach is minutes away.

Perfect. Silence, service and respect. Guests are also amazing. Everyone is quiet at the pool and just enjoying the water and the sun. Room amazing, clean and very spacious. 2 bathrooms.

From the moment we drove in the security gate we felt at home. Our apartment (104) was much bigger than the photos suggest. Every thing was at hand and looked almost new.

Restaurant service excellent, food excellent, beautiful pool and views.

The hotel is ideal for family. Decent apartments and a beautiful beach 135 steps away.

Excellent and quiet place.
They also offer free parking spots for each room.
The AC is also very quiet.
It is possible to walk to the center of Lagoa but there is not always a sidewalk.

My friend and I stayed in this little hotel and we both loved it. It is located in a very peaceful and quiet place so it is the perfect place to have a relaxed holiday.

It’s our first stay at The Falésia for 12 years, but we’ve stayed at other excellent PortoBay hotels in Madeira.

The room was a little dated but perfectly comfortable and spotlessly clean.

We LOVED it here, the townhouses are fantastic for families: very clean, spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning throughout, excellent quality linens and comfortable beds.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The beds are lovely and comfortable!

As a family of 4, we stayed in Villa 1 at Casa Tuia for 6 nights from 27th August 2025. The accommodation is beautiful and perfectly laid out for a family or couples alike.

We did a long weekend as a family in one of the tents. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.

Vale de Milho Village is a great place! We used the houses during our wedding weekend for us and some of our guests of our wedding in Algarve. Top service from start to finish.

Beautiful town house with private pool that would normally get a 5 star if I didn’t feel like I shared my holiday with my neighbours on both sides.

We had a wonderful week here. It is a bit far out of Carvoeiro itself but as we had a hire car it didn’t matter. Our room was large and spotlessly clean.

Just as others have said before, this place is an oasis of calm where you can unwind, relax, and have some time for self care and rejuvenation.

Lovely hotel in the countryside. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Daniela who did a great job.

We loved this hotel. We visited early November so not a lot of people around but it's clean, the food is actually very good, and the staff super pleasant and friendly.

Really nice and daily cleaned rooms. No extras in the room such as tea bags, milk or coffee and no books or games so bring your own or nip to the shop en route.

I stayed at Placid Village in Carvoeiro from the 7th to the 13th of July with three friends, and we had the most amazing time.

My stay was fantastic. The rooms were big and clean. The location was amazing 🤩. If you walk for 2-5 minutes you can see an ocean view from the cliff and also can do trekking.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and full of smiles, they always try their best to help us when we request something. It is a very clam relaxing hotel suitable for people who want a peaceful time.

I just spent 3 wonderful nights/days at Tivoli Carvoeiro and loved every minute of it. From the front desk help to the restaurant, bar and doormen workers, everyone was very pleasant, professional

Excellent hotel with a very friendly staff. Especial kudos and emphasis to Priscila (kids club) who looks after my little ones with so much caring and attention.

Some of the rooms/apartments are looking a little run down.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed for four nights in a beautiful house in May. Here are some insights from my experience:
— This was not a hotel; there are no rooms, only houses of various shapes and sizes.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the warm and professional staff.

Overall loved the hotel & experience. Great location and staff were friendly!
However, felt that the buffet was overpriced for two (€88) and for what was on offer.

3rd time here, absolutely love this place. The reception are so friendly and warm welcome. Nothing is too much.

This was our third stay at these hotel apartments. We really like the convenience and quiet location — it’s a great place to relax. The apartments are modern, innovative, and overall very good.

Lovely resort with a good pool and fantastic restaurant. We had a townhouse for a week and the staff at reception were really helpful. The townhouse was perfect. A lovely place to stay.

We stayed at Suites Alba Resort & Spa for 5 days to visit the Algarve and it was amazing! ✨ Pure luxury, the place is absolutely stunning!

The location is amazing, it is so beautiful and close to so much. The atmosphere was very relaxing and fun. Rooms are in pretty good shape and clean. They have blackout shutters that were amazing.

Stayed four nights at the Monte Dourado resort in Carvoeiro. Location was perfect. Sitting high on top of a hill, offered gorgeous ocean views yet close enough to walk to the town below.

Lovely relaxed break! Pool was really quiet, even though it was the school holidays. We often had it to ourselves!

The location is very good and quiet. The private pool is very good and a comfortable depth (the deepest part was 1.8m).

We visited Colina Da Lapa and stayed in one their 4 bed villas with a private pool and it was everything we needed.
The resort is set in a beautiful quiet location.

What a great place to stay!
We stayed in the studio appartment for a week, and we didn’t regret this. It is brand new, fully equiped, a good bed, proper kitchen and bathroom and a nice balcony.

Beautiful new turistic building! Loved the place, it is very comfortable and convenient.

You have to pay 5€ per person to use the jacuzzi and indoor pool because they sell you a mandatory hair cap.

We were not expecting much, but were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel.

Spent a nice week here last week. Only down side was that the aircon in the living room was down. Recently re furnished and decorated so looked clean. Decent size open air swimming pool.

A wonderful place to have a relaxing week. Our holiday was made very special by wonderful staff, who were helpful, friendly and welcoming, particularly Jose, Iilda and Russan.
