SPA Hotels in Barlavento

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of the staff made us feel like royalty.

Vila Origens was perfect for a week away. The hotel itself was clean and beautiful.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Back from another amazing stay at this hotel. It was the most amazing holiday with our 2.5 year old daughter.

We had a great time here! Received a free room upgrade to start off, nice bathroom and couch, very spacious with comfortable beds.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a wonderful experience at Villa Prana.

I don't normally write reviews.

The hotel is in a quiet area, but in 5minutes you are on the beach with a great restaurant.

We had the a wonderful time at Clube Maria Luisa. A lobely beach just minutes away, be prepared for the climb back up the stairs after your visit. Immaculate grounds. Well equipped rooms.

We stayed at Vilalara for a week as a getaway after an extremely stressful two years filled with lots of grief, pain, and health issues.

I stayed at the Vilalara Grand Hotel for a few nights in February.

We stayed at the White Shell Beach Villas for a week and loved every minute. The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Sergio).

We had a lovely stay at this resort. The staff are so kind and helpful. The daily room refreshes were such a treat. The place feels like home for a few days. It’s walking distance from two beaches.

Lovely very family orientated hotel. Not near anything for 18+ few shops and a supermarket. €7 euro taxi ride to Albufeira which has more to offer. So it depends what your looking for in a hotel.

Really good hotel! We spent a week all inclusive and we had a great time. Food was great, apartment was spacious, the whole complex was very clean.

Fabulous little boutique hotel — the staff have found an amazing balance between helping you and leaving you to relax we really felt they listened and acted on request.

The hotel was in a great location and since we didn’t have a rental car that was important to us. The hotel was really nice and the rooms were large.

Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Good breakfast. Quiet location. Would visit again.

From check in, everything was perfect. Given a detailed review of the local area and recommendation. Taken and shown around the hotel. Supported to book a boat trip.

We have just returned from another fantastic stay at the Jupiter Albufeira Hotel, and once again it exceeded all our expectations.
The food was absolutely amazing throughout our stay.

This is the second time we've stayed at Jupiter and they didn't disappoint again. Room was large for a family of four with plenty of storage for clothes and two large cases.

Just returned from a very relaxing week staying at Hotel Brisa Sol.
As a family we had a lovely stay and I wanted to give you an insight into a couple of areas within the hotel.
RECEPTION.

Just back from our week's holiday. We had a one bedroom apartment facing the pool. The apartment was really clean and spacious. Cleaners came every day. The whole place is very clean.

We visited Restaurant Vila Joya in 2024 to celebrate Lucas’ birthday and had a truly wonderful experience.
From the start, everything felt special.

Best experience we have ever had. Food service and location. Absolutely fantastic.

Comfortable bed, lovely room and balcony. Staff were friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for us, short uber to Albufeira and a short walk to the beach. Plenty restaurants near by also.

Lovely hotel, small and friendly… very quite, spotlessly clean, beds massive and comfy, breakfast has good selection…
Nice lounge bar, lovely bar tender nothing too much trouble.

This is a beautiful hotel, with everything you want for a great stay. The rooms are clean & well presented.

Really lovely 2 weeks, loved the hotel, loved Portugal. Our first stay here (recommended by family) but already planning to return next year.

An outstanding restaurant. We booked Christmas Day lunch and were delighted. We've lived near Lagos for five years and this was the finest meal that we've eaten here.
The bread basket blew us away.

Fantastic stay at Casa Mãe. My partner and I stayed in the main building, and throughly enjoyed walking the grounds, relaxing by the pool, and brilliant recommendations by front of house staff.

Incredible little boutique hideaway. Unique rooms, lovely grounds, fantastic breakfast and very helpful staff. Each unit has its own outdoor patio or living space where your breakfast can be served.

We stayed for a week in Sept. 2025. It's basically a loose complex of varied and very clean Mediterranean style rooms and small garden apartments. The grounds are very beautiful and shady.

We had an incredible stay at the Bela Vista. It was stunning and the staff were wonderful. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast! Our room was so beautiful and spacious.

Well this is a beautiful hotel. Fantastic views from our room. 218. Make sure you book a sea view. The pool although cold is refreshing.

Nice hotel in a good location, within walking distance to the strip if you want the busy bars, quieter bars and nice restaurants nearby.

Loved everything about it the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will always go back and stay at this hotel and recommend it to anyone who are looking for a nice and quiet location.

Nice hotel in a good location for the marina and old town Albufeira.

Rooms at this hotel are clean with ample storage & fresh towels daily. Breakfast was good although we would have preferred the bacon to be crispy. Saying that there was an excellent choice.

A lovely hotel with spacious superior studios. Everything you need in the kitchen if you are self catering. Lots of wonderful restaurants a short stroll away.

This was our third visit to Pestana Alvor Park. It’s a great aparthotel with excellent facilities for a quiet family holiday.
Rooms are furnished very well, room service every day.

Excellent New Hotel with Great Facilities.
We had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Rural Bricia Du Mar.

We came with average expectations but it was an amazing experience. From the moment we checked in everyone had been so nice, especially Sara in the poolbar.

We had a very comfortable and quiet stay here which is what we wanted.
The rooms are spacious and very well kept.
Blackout curtains would have been nice but not a huge deal.

We were wanting a relaxing high quality stay in the Algarve in October, and this gem of a Hotel really delivered.
From modern foyer and reception to the spotlessly clean pool.

We had a fantastic week here. Every member of the staff team was helpful, friendly and efficient. The apartments were clean and spacious.

A beautiful stay as always. This was our fourth time at VDO and we will never get bored of coming here. My family and I really enjoy our stays and they get better every time.

We had a wonderful 5 nights in Vale da Lapa after a whirlwind week of travelling through Portugal. This was to be the relaxing part of our holiday and it certainly was.
