The hotel is in a fantastic location, staff polite and breakfast fantastic. However, we were very disappointed with our room.

It was the best holiday I ever had, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable, a great view and facilities were great.

Our first impressions of the Vila Galé hotel were that the reception area and lounge were very dated and in need of a refurb.

We were a group of 20 male golfers/drinkers and loved our stay (2nd year running), we have already booked again for next Sept. Hotel is good with the sea-view rooms being best and have great beds.

We’ve had a great stay at Vale da Lapa. Accomoda, facilities, food and service were all great.

The houses have a good shape to host four people. Well equipped kitchen. The whole area is maintained very well. Very friendly staff at reception, restaurant and room service.

We had a fantastic week here. Every member of the staff team was helpful, friendly and efficient. The apartments were clean and spacious.

A beautiful stay as always. This was our fourth time at VDO and we will never get bored of coming here. My family and I really enjoy our stays and they get better every time.

Location: deceptive (at least to me). It is surrounded by high rises and cheap tourist shops/nightclubs. Do not book if you are expecting a nice secluded spot to relax.

An exquisite place to spend an afternoon on the terrace of this hotel — it truly deserves its Michelin star and its Relais & Châteaux title.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Check in process easy. Rooms were a bit on the small side, but clean and neat.

This is the second holiday this year to this hotel. Olhao is a beautiful small town with a lot of original charm and character. And this hotel is perfect for us in terms of standard and location.

Beautiful location. We had a two room villa. Very comfortable. Property was very lush in Janurary. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Located in a gated community.

Fabulous hotel, couldn't fault in any way. Modern, spotlessly clean, spa is so nice and well worth the extra fee. The hotel staff are all friendly, courteous & professional.

River view rooms are large and comfortable with a balcony. Plenty of storage in the room and a small fridge. Coffee machine and kettle both provided.

This hotel was absolutely prefect great location for family's hotel is spotless I don't know how they keep it so clean it's massive and so many guest staying, not much around outside of the hotel

Had a nice week at this hotel. It is very much geared up for families with the mini water park which caters for little ones and bigger children.

We enjoyed our stay at Monchique, we were warmly welcomed although we felt a little out of place at check-in.
The location of the hotel is quiet, set into the hills and surrounded by the trees.

From arrival to departure the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our suite was large, clean and modern with great panoramic views, albeit shrouded in mist but that is no one's fault.

My daughter and I stayed 4 nights in May and we loved this hotel.

My fiance and I were lucky enough to celebrate our engagement at Praia do Canal, and we had such a wonderful experience.

Overall we enjoyed our time here but we said unfortunately we wouldn't come back. We felt like if you were English then this isn't necessarily the best place to come.

The hotel consists of apartments and it is surrounded by the most beautiful sand dunes, board walks and a beach club. The apartments are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good (not more).

We LOVED it here, the townhouses are fantastic for families: very clean, spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning throughout, excellent quality linens and comfortable beds.

We came to the Rocomar a little apprehensive after reading some of the recent reviews and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised.

Was very impressed with our stay, location is away from the shops and supermarkets but the location not far from the beach is a bonus.

Fantastic location right by the sea. The rooms are well appointed and the spaces are well utilised. The restaurant has a great relaxed feeling as you enter and the foot was very good.

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. From checking in, valet, restaurant staff to checking out the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and nicely appointed.

Superb villas, nice pool, comfy bed. Great experience. You'll need a car, it's a few minutes away from Lagos.
