My wife and I got married here in 2018 and it was a fantastic day. Beautiful views and wonderful hotel complex and the staff were great all the way through. Hope to return here with our daughter soon!

We had the best time staying at Cascade. We would definitely come back again! Although the apartment we stayed at didn’t have such a nice view, the massive apartment space made up for it.

Amazing experience to recharge the batteries to face the winter back home. Stunning setting with friendly staff. Despite Covid we felt extremely safe and cared for at this resort. Would definitely return again.

Lovely Resort, great gym, nice pools, amazing service and the apartments are very spacious and comfortable. We are travelling with our little girl and she loves it as well.

We stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect spot. It is centrally located for all the great beach spots and we we're able to walk to pretty much everything. And we could use their free shuttle to hitch a ride back or to the primary destinations. They did let us use their towels for the beaches and activities we did off the hotel grounds, which was also awesome. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant options were very good. Senses had the best dinner and was worth the wine pairing as well. Their Portuguese night was our favorite. They had a buffet option that included wine and beer and was perfect for those times we did not know exactly what we wanted. The breakfast was delicious and they had a great variety. We did not use the spa, but the pool, hot tub, steam room, etc… was all included and we did not have to pay extra, which was great. The hotel room was very nice and the only issue we had was the shower door leaked, but we had plenty of towels for the situation, and the air conditioning would only go as low as 19° C. I would have liked lower, but that is my personal preference.

Wonderful place. We just checked in and were very well received, amazing fitness facility and very friendly staff. Excited to see what else they have the coming days. Fantastic so far… as always, first impression counts!

Great hotel but poorly designed access to the street and beaches. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment 1311. The apartment is very nice and clean and has beautiful views. The staff are nice. Our son loves the sandy pool and the nursery in the complex. Amazing beaches are very close by, but accessing them is not easy unless you jump the hotel fence like we had to do, as the only gate to exit the complex (apart from the main entrance) is almost always locked. Getting into downtown Lagos would also be much easier if there was at least one more exit from the complex, on the eastern end. What could be a 15min walk becomes a 35min walk. In summary, the resort was very well thoughtout in terms of decoration but not in terms of accessibility. It needs more entrances.

Supposed to be one of the best complexes in Lagos… The minuses — We are definitely not happy with the food! Steaks we ordered were over cooked, tiger shrimps were not cleaned prior to serving. Overall, not a 5 star experience at all. Facilities are up to the 5 star standard, but… AC in room was set on 26 Celsius and was still blowing cold. The two bedroom apartment had only on phone that was in one of the bedrooms. (not convenient) Our bathroom door was not closing. Internet was very slow and was accessible only on the terrace. Hot water took a few minutes to come up to the unit every day. The pluses — very friendly stuff (except one server in the pub) Overall the complex is up to its 5 star rating. 24/7 room service.

We spent 3 nights here while traveling through Portugal. This is a really nice hotel in a good, relaxing location. About a 15 minute walk into Lagos where there are loads of good restaurants. The hotel is close to Farol da Ponta da Piedad. Was worth the walk to a great lookout and lighthouse. The room was very clean and spacious. We had an ocean view room. Although the view was from the balcony. We booked a twin room and ended up with a king. Nothing could be done to correct this during our stay. We couldn't adjust the air-conditioning in our room. This had to be done by maintenance. We asked a few times but it never got done… we gave up asking and slept with the door open. We felt the staff were very nice but didn't really know their product.

Brilliant resort, we came here for our honeymoon and for our anniversary. Lovely rooms, especially self catering. 2 nice size pool area and a great little spa offering massages and a nice heated pool, a gym with a decent selection of equipment and classes offering bootcamp a to yoga. Theres a driving range and tennis courts, Lagos town is a 10 mins drive away so plenty to do and walkable if you so choose. The staff are always friendly and helpful, food is amazing and a great selection of food, snacks and drinks. Only criticism I can think is in the apartments there can be noise from people above when moving chairs, walking about etc as it scrapes on the tile floor. But doesn't detract from this amazing place, we love it here.

Modern and clean hotel with lots of facilities including spa, gym, driving range and tennis courts. The breakfasts are good and the staff polite. Great location too if you don't want to be in the middle of a town with lots of tourists. The downsides? Water in the room is not replenished, you're only allowed two coffees in the room per day before getting charged extra, there is no water in the gym, gym classes cost 18 euros (a bit steep).

We had a great weekend in this beautiful hotel.
The reception and services are good, the breakfast buffet is very varied and delicious.
There is also a free shuttle to connect the main living areas of the city.
The staff are nice and smiling. We will return without hesitation.

Beautiful apartments, but need a car. 45 mins walk from downtown.

Great, huge and very quiet apartment with lots of privacy we felt very comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Also the hotel's restaurant is highly recommended. The beaches on foot are simply fabulously beautiful and the place Lagos has really enjoyed us too.

Excellent Service and staff. The rooms are cleaned in the morning with a passage in the evening to make the bed and change the floor mats (SdB). The rooms are very nice despite the inability to properly adjust the temperature. The air conditioning made a very light noise not preventing sleep. On the other hand the SPA does not live up to what we know. The Jacuzzi was ridiculous (not enough bubbles just from the small jets of water) and external not suitable for a temperature of March. The heated pool is external too… not heated enough for my liking. So it gets cold and it's quite unpleasant. That said work is underway to improve this space. Indispensable to their image.
The location is just wonderful… a 800m from Ponta da Herdade.

We stayed 3 nights. This place is very lovely and adjacent to beautiful beaches. Of course, staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Especially Diogo the bell boy, he came out all the way out to parking lot to help me and guide me when we arrived at night. Not only breakfast, dinner menus are very nice at the Mundi restaurant. We had dinner there on the first day of our arrival. Wish we can stay there again in near future.

This is a high price, high end wellness centre. They try hard and talk a good story but cannot deliver on truly high end services. So they under deliver on services. I came to our room which was beautifully appointed with a beautiful view of the pool and the Ocean. It was very cold in the room because Air conditioned system was on and would not swith off, so tried to turn it off and turn it on the heating cycle. Did not work. Called front desks to see if they could remedied the problem. They could not! Asked to change room and they would not do that. We had basically had to freeze in our room to the a point where we had to asked for lots of blankets just to stay warm. Needless to say we had a terrible night. So in the morning I had to be firm with the hotel staffs to change room. They did absolutely nothing to help or make things better with our luggages. So this is a wellness center that really market themselves well by overpromissing and under delivering. They need to review how they deliver customer services to their client. You go to a wellness center to be pampered and in exchange you pay for this type of services. They will gladly take your money but will be reluctant to deliver. So be aware when you book at Cascade.

We had an excellent time at Cascade. The accommodations and amenities are flawless and the views from the coast make this the perfect resort to stay at to properly enjoy Lagos. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we always felt very comfortable and well taken care of. A special thank you to the concierge, Tamara, at the front desk who was always helpful and provided us with useful information. She also called every bar in Lagos to find one that would play the Bayern Munich match for me. A special thank you also to Manuel in the restaurant downstairs who always provided excellent customer service and turned every meal and bottle of wine into a Portuguese history lesson. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. Muito obrigado Cascade!

Great fixtures and fitiings. Unfortunatly let down by rip off prices for food and drink.

We had our wedding at Cascade! Perfect venue, the view is amazing, staff is very friendly and collaborative, all our request were attended without any problem! The Chef was top, he took our special imported caviar and special cheese (São Jorge 18 months) and produced two amazing entreés, he actually gave both entrees is special twist which actually was much better than any thing we could ask for! Rooms are 5 star with no compromise, breakfast is also the best you can get at a any 5star hotel. We couldn't ask for more.

Good: 5 star luxury: large comfortable room, sizable double bed, amazing shower, good quality linen, fine pool area, good service & helpful reception staff. Bad: Food not great and quite expensive. Location: away from Lagos and the nearby lighthouse & cliff walkways not accessible through grounds.

Great hotel. Very nice home. Beautiful area. The only small downside would be the low bit rate of Wi-Fi. Great stay. Look forward to returning!

1-bedroom apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Big pool, not too busy and perfect for young kids.

The hotel is very nice, friendly staff, the food is very good, it is Stradnah and you are in Lagos in a few minutes.

Great hotel with very nice room/equipment! The food was great! We had a large room with a very large balcony east to one of the three pools and felt very comfortable there. We didn't like two things so well there: Firstly, the coctails, which cost from 8 to 50 euros, were very saved from alcohol, they were rather fruit juices. Second, gardeners worked with gasoline powered hedge scissors that made such noise that a conversation was not possible for a long time and the ears rang. In addition, some of the Petrol powered garden cars drove around the garden. Baterri engines would be very appropriate here.

We stayed two nights. One night we had to stay in one of the appartments as the hotel was full. This is also the reason I deduct 1 star as it was the first hotel I actually decided to sleep outside the room as it didn't smell good. Otherwise the hotel is nice with a good location and a very nice pool.

Massage very soothing! Pool generous and clean, hot tub and sauna for 2 people, staff friendly — we enjoyed pure relaxation here on Mother's Day!

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel, which was at the end of our trip to Portugal which started in Porto and was supposed to end on a relaxing note in Lagos. Firstly, the apartment we were first given had ants and had water leaking from under the shower screen on to the bathroom floor. This wasn't great considering we were buying food to keep in the kitchen! We were moved to a different room, but it was only after much complaining. Secondly, my husband and I being vegetarian and vegan followed instructions and gave the chef 24 hours notice so they could prepare a nice meal for us. Due to miscommunication this didn't happen, but there was no goodwill gesture at all. We were made to feel as though it was our fault. The shuttle to the town also ran on very limited times. Snooty staff that treat different people differently. Not 5 * I wouldn't say, but great access to a lovely beach down a cliff.

Our favourite hotel in Lagos. Peaceful location out of town. A little bit of luxury in the Algarve.

Great holiday here in august 2016. Good facilities, not over crowded, good mix of normal pool and "fake beach". 15 minute walk to a fantastic real beach and 10 min shuttle bus ride into lagos, out favourite Algarve town. Food is a good standard but is expensive, especially the buffet which is double the price of what it should be. Also way too difficult to get reasonably priced drinking water — not acceptable for a hot country! Overall though a very pleasant and comfortable hotel — as you would expect for the price!

What a fantastic welcome. Met by a very helpful reception team, our room wasn't quite ready and so we were ushered to a terrace where complimentary welcome drinks were served. We had booked two rooms, both on the entrance level which is one storey above the general accommodation and the main pool. The rooms are very large with a super king size bed and lounge area, mini bar and ample storage in both wardrobe and shelved units. Drawers are also adequate.
As it was my wife's birthday this had been noticed from the passports and a bottle of fizz and a birthday cake awaited us in the room — a lovely touch. If there was any down side the room faced away from the pool and sea, however as the resort is so good we didn't spend any time in the room anyway. The balcony was huge and got the morning sun, we used it to dry the swimming gear…
The pool is freshwater and the only resort pool where when it's windy it gets waves, a brilliant pool about 50m long and freeform. The depth ranges from 0.8m to 1.5m with gently proportioned steps.
There are other pools by the spa and the apartments but we didn't really use these at all.
The pool side restaurant is efficient and serves good 'snack' food as well as more substantial wares.
This is also where breakfast is served… and what a breakfast — as many courses as you want and everything to choose from.

Lovely place, especially out of season. The beach is not present, but there is a pool, Spa and Golf. And a great view. The hotel is discreet and respectable.

So far so good, although everything incl. Water costs a fortune. Met some great staff-mainly waiters who were very helpful and very kind! Let u know more after we leave. HOME: back a fortnight now, yes my husband and did enjoy staying at Cascade, their own in house restaurant was exquisite! There was a night when we had to wait 40mins frm starter to main!? — When told manager we were given a full evening meal on the house! Very kind and helpful staff to be fair! Definately would go back. Got Home safely, and wow what a holiday! — m Staff were amazing, they helped us many times — from checking times for s=certain things for us on their computer and service at evening meals which were superb by the way! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Me and my husband will definitely be back, one of the office staff Vera was very helpful, giving us her email address to contact for deals etc. At different times of the year! Great atmosphere and looking forward to returning! Karon ashe.

I am just now staying att Cascade. It´s problem with * Internet — its´s realy bad contact and they are doing nothing * the pools are not warm. * the spa is cloosed same days I think there will be things to do for the management.
