Algarve Hotels with a Pool

I stayed at the Beach Villa from August 13th to 18th with a group of friends, and we had an extraordinary experience.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were very impressed. The building is over 100 years old and has lots of quirky little areas to explore, giving it a charming luxurious feel.

We spent an amazing ten days here. The architecture is beautiful and the attention to design detail was stunning. We loved looking at the River and boats over our espresso and pastel de nadas.

I must admit I was apprehensive about staying in this particular Tivoli hotel due to some poor reviews, however my husband and I had a very nice relaxing stay.

In all I stayed at the Tivoli for 17 days during November in several visits. Apart from one room mixup, which was dealt with quickly, it was all excellent.

The hotel is within easy walking distance (15 minutes) of the centre of Lagos, a few minutes from the beach and has a wonderful rooftop pool and restaurant overlooking the sea.

Great location, quiet. Lovely boardwalk across the street. Do not bother upgrading to partial sea view as our view was of the parking lot.

Very nice apartment with a great pool. 1a view of the landscape. Quietly located. The equipment is tip top, and you can find everything you need in the kitchen. We really liked it here.

1. The 2 bed ground floor apartment is enormous in size.

If you are passing through Lagos, do not hesitate to stay at the accommodation offered by Carmen who is an adorable host. She welcomed me warmly and the accommodation I had was great.

I stayed in a studio apartment on the first floor. You have a big balcony and access to the roof top terrace. In the room, you have everything you need even for a longer stay.

I have nothing but praise for this wonderful stay. It's a rustic farmstead in the middle of the hills, surrounded by nature.

Peaceful in the middle of the Algarve mountains. Rooms very cleaned and staff very accommodating. A healthy and sweet breakfast. Very good experience and I’m definitely going back.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, about a seven-minute drive from restaurants. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is delicious.

Beautiful boutique hotel with nice garden and pool in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to everything and perfect spot to explore the Algarve.

I really liked the room, it was super clean. The decor was also nice. What I really did not like is that the bathroom and toilet were actually in the room.

This is a beautifully located hotel with super friendly helpful staff. They did everything possible to make our two week stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Great hotel for the price. The block we were in was right on the beach with the other block by the pool, around 50 metres further back from the beach.

The hosts are amazing and ver customer centric, gentle and always concerned if everything is OK,, nice location, great breakfast and quit place.

The building was very clean with 3 separate pools in a beautiful neighbourhood, Aldi grocery store is directly across the street with the beach and golf courses just a 5 minute drive away.

Came here recently and 1 day in unfortunately had a family emergency back in the UK. The staff were just the kindest and most helpful people and did everything they could to make my situation there

Had a really good stay at vilo do Castello apartments 3 weeks ago for 1 week. Really quiet at night.

Nestled in one of our new favourite towns, Albufeira. This gem only has ocean view rooms. The service from checking in to checking out and everything in between was amazing.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. It was an amazing experience. I could check in as soon as I arrived and was so happy about it. The staff was always friendly and helpful. My room was perfect!

We are finishing up a fabulous week at this hotel/apartment. First, the location is perfect. Right on the marina, a skip from some great restaurants and lovely walks.

Such a great location, with access to amazing restaurants and bars, the apartment itself was spacious, clean and well appointed, we had everything we needed to cook and plenty of storage for food.

We were with 11 month old baby in all inclusive. Breakfast, snaks, lunch and dinner had plenty to chose from.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Lovely, clean, modern hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious, plenty of choice at all meals. The food was always of a great standard, too.

It was a lovely, comfortable space — with a beautiful garden. It was lovely to meet others from different parts of the world and share breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Apollo. Jean Paul and his staff were exceptional hosts. Friendly atmosphere. Rooms were spotless.

We had the most fantastic experience at Vila Foia! We were a group of 20 family and friends on a yoga retreat and everyone was delighted with the whole experience.

Wow! I highly recommend Vilafoia. It’s such a gem and I’m so glad that I chose this hotel. It’s just a short drive from Monchique, and it turned out to be an ideal spot for a romantic escape.

We stayed for 14 days in the wonderful guesthouse Pirilampo. The apartments are beautiful, modern and furnished with love. The garden is grandiose and offers a wonderful view of the coast.

A comfortable, healing, and relaxing place. It's delightfully quiet while you can still walk to nice restaurants. It's a 5 minutes drive to a grocery.

We had a great stay with our baby here. The accomondation is in very good shape, the owners take very good care of their property! Every question or need we had was answered quickly.

Quinta de Moledos is a little rural paradise. The perfect place for those seeking peace and tranquility.

Nice rooms, Janine and Fransesco make you feel at home. Spacious terraces, small pool, the village is authentic and close to Alvor, Portimao and the beaches.

Lovely rooms, superb breakfast, very warm and friendly staff. Came out of season on a well deserved break from hiking the Rota Vicentina. Fully rested and ready to finish the trail. Highly recommend.

Stepping into this place felt like discovering a hidden Portuguese cabin in the woods.

Fantastic hotel! Rooms are great and clean, beds are good, breakfast is wonderful with a lot of choice, dinner is fantastic and various. The hotel has a stunning view with a beautiful sunset!

The hotel is a fantastic place to stay as the family room we got was spacious, we also got an extra bed and baby cot all for free.
