This review is JUST for the SPA: we booked a day at the spa and it was excellent. Me and my daughter 10 years old.

I go here several times a year… it's very clean and good value for money if a few of you are sharing. The grounds are lovely and kept in good order. Swimming pool can get too full, but it's warm.

A lovely place to stay. The rooms and communal areas were spotlessly clean and all the staff were helpful and pleasant. Our sea view room on floor 7 was great.

Renato and Rosanna are charming hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything is clean and the pool is lovely. Renato prepares a wonderful breakfast each day.

When we arrived at The Sun Hill Renato welcomed us and gave us a tour. He explained this was his passion and it really showed. Renato and his wife Rosanna could not do enough.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay and relax. Beautiful village and amazing host. Loved the property and the facilities. Definitely comfortable and coming back.

Comfortable location. We were on our trip from Faro to Beja. Good place for 1 night, but in winter a little bit cold rooms (even with heating function from AC unit).

My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights just two weeks ago and I have to say that is a lovely quiet place with large rooms and large balconies facing the ocean.

We had a lovely time, staff lovely. The views were excellent, breakfast was absolutely lovely — plenty of choice.

Perfect. Silence, service and respect. Guests are also amazing. Everyone is quiet at the pool and just enjoying the water and the sun. Room amazing, clean and very spacious. 2 bathrooms.

From the moment we drove in the security gate we felt at home. Our apartment (104) was much bigger than the photos suggest. Every thing was at hand and looked almost new.

The hotel is run by a very endearing and helpful couple. They make you feel at home. Always waiting to see if you need anything and concerned that you feel comfortable. Totally recommended!

Most beautiful place we ever been to! Lovely hosts Agostinho and Ofelia that were really helpful with everything. They made our stay even more beautiful.

This rural hotel provides for a short/weekend stay in a peaceful setting, in the midst of the Algarve countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts.

Does what it says on the tin. You go there for peace and quiet. Crickets and frogs are very noisy but it's nature.
Go here for a relatively quiet stay and some quality down time at the pool.

I had the pleasure of staying at Vila Fuzeta in Fuseta, Algarve, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and at home.

Gym wasn't bad.
Sauna and turkey's bath wasn't working at the time I was there.
Definitely need to rent a car.

We spent a weekend in February in the Colina Verde Hotel. It was a fantastic experience from A to Z. The booking per phone was very efficient.

Nice apartment, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Prompt cleaning each day. Nice pool. Easy parking. Supermarket and bakery close by. Easy walk to old town Lagos shops, churches, restaurants.

This is a lovely apartment! It features a kitchen and living room, a bathroom with both a bath and shower, and two comfortable bedrooms.

Gem of a hotel in Lagos. Easy walk to the old city but far enough that we could park the car easily. The breakfast was incredible, mostly home made.

My friend and I loved our stay here. Comfortable rooms, short 10min walk to Old town. Also walking distance to Ponde da Piadade and beaches. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE.

The apartment was clean and cozy with everything we needed. There are plenty of shops, bars, and coffee shops nearby. Stuff was amazing when we had an issue. Solved within 30 minutes.

We stayed at Shantivillas Portimão in August as a family and had an amazing holiday. The apartment was truly luxurious—modern, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean.

Outstanding property. Beach/cliff frontage. Modern apartment, beautiful, everything included and virtually new. An incredibly lovely stay … all apartments face sea with views.

Oh, this place. It’s been so lovely.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our recent holiday in Algarve. It is perfectly set right by the breathtaking Praia da Rocha beach.

We have just got back form our first ever trip to Portugal and into the Algarve.

Our stay at Balaia Mar could not be faulted, we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Portugal and will definitely return to Balaia. It holds a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here.

Great place! Close to the beach with a very nice little pine forest in the front! The jacuzzi was even heated in december!

A lovely relaxing break, the spa was lovely, the food was delicious and plenty of choice, even for vegetarians. The staff and service they provided was great!

Returning to this hotel for a 3 night escape in December. We came last year at this time & loved it. So this year we had an expectation and it was surpassed.

We had a fantastic stay with Live In Holidays Old Village and Prestige. We had stopped in the Old Village previously and had a wonderful time so decided to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Old Village, first time staying in apartments.
Cosy, comfortable and clean and quiet.
Close to all amenities in Old Village.
