Hotels in Algarve with a Pool

We just returned from an incredible stay at the Viceroy Ombria Algarve. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely personal.

We had a wonderful stay at the Viceroy Ombria Algarve overall and would happily rate it 5/5. The hotel is set in beautiful Algarvian countryside in a hilltop location with stunning views throughout.

Come here every year this time of year Excellent position for old town and the beach.

Fabiana was a fantastic host and made us both feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very well organised, and had everything we needed.

This place is simply wonderful! Everything is extremely clean, spacious, colorful, and filled with amazing energy.

The Q V was an air bnb, and this top level apartment with a ocean view could not be beat. All amenities, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and living room all very nice.

Apartment block surrounding swimming pool. Easy access and 25 minutes from the seafront.

Feels like home! Highly recommended place to stay.

This place is so outstanding in every way. The rooms are very professionly decorated and designed. The building is 13 years old, but from the appearance, you would expect it to be 1 or 2 years old.

An amazing experience, the room was amazing, the bathroom made in an exotic way, the location is perfect to avoid the mass tourism, the swimming pool with salty water is very rare in now a days.

Fantastic boutique hotel with amazing view and outstanding hospitality. Philipa was very kind, helpful and friendly. The room is very spacious with super comfy both bed and sofa bed.

We had the most lovely time at Villa Paradis. The house was amazing, everything you could possibly need. Idaline was charming funny and lovely. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Beautiful golf park where we enjoyed our evening. The park has long opening hours and is well-lit.
Before that we had a nice dinner at the Yasmine restaurant, which is directly adjacent to the park.

A great fun crazy golf, suitable for all ages. It’s a really well laid out course and the moving talking jungle creatures add a cool extra touch.

Always stay here at least twice a year before covid Angela's apartments fabulous home from home a lovely lady.

We visited Foz Club Algarve in mid-May with my best friend, and it truly became an unforgettable trip.

5 Stars all round! We checked in after 20:00 and were still greeted with hospitality, advice and assistance.

My family and I spent a week at this villa and had a great time. Very lovely host and we hope to visit again ☺️

I can't recommend this place enough it was fantastic. The outside area had two BBQ's a pool, loads of seating and loungers. The unit was clean and fully equipped.

Amazing view, very comfortable room, super clean, and great service.
It is on the top of the hill with amazing view and beautiful sunset.

We are on a biking holiday through Portugal and this might be the highlight of all the houses we have stayed in. Incredible bedrooms and bathrooms; showers have THE BEST rain shower heads.

We absolutely loved our time at Casa da Soalheira. Super peaceful, away from all the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas.

Beatriz is the best! Guesthouse recommended 100%. The room was big, clean, and quite.

Nice guesthouse on the outskirts of Lagos (about 15 min by foot to the oldtown) in a calm residential area with an Intermarché and a pastelaria nearby. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Such a hidden gem. Spent 10 days in this lovely place. It was a pleasure to meet Frederick and his crue (animals) 😊 The place is spotless, you will find literally everything you need in the house.

Amazing. Perfect. Our second time. Frederick is so attentive. He is an amazing host.

Clean modern rooms with Wi-Fi and smart TV, an equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
There a spa area which consists of a gym it was well equipped and satisfying.

Great place to stay. Fabulous situation between Burgau and Luz. Less than 5 min drive. Amazing cliff top walks to either. Totally unspoilt and breathtaking views

We adored the Villa, the location, the cleanliness the hosts, the vegetation (picking lemons and oranges) and the beautiful countryside!
So much to see and do! Many wonderful restaurants so close!

We stayed at this villa for a week July 2025 — 2 adults and 2 teens. Booking experience was great and Nigel sent lots of helpful info. What an amazing property.
